Clearly because other things than sea level impact the rotation speed of the Earth, and sea level rise isn't even the dominant factor.
Other things do but they should average out. Wind that blows more east one day blows more west the next. There is the effect of the moon on tides slowly reducing the spin rate but there should be a significat change in it if the oceans of the world are growing.

Again: put some numbers on it. Show how much a few millimeters of sea level rise should change the rotation rate of the Earth. My bet is you'll find that the change is small compared to the measurements of the change in the Earth's rotation rate.

There is very little non-floating ice that is vunerable to melting.
That's just wishful thinking. Large portions of the edges of Greenland are melting, which could threaten the stability of the entire ice sheet. The land below Greenland's ice sheet, after all, is very close to sea level, so the entire thing could easily melt even at current temperatures.

The worst case scenarios for global warming have a sea level rise of less than 3 feet. These scenarios are exagerations.
The aforementioned melting of Greenland would cause a sea level rise of about 21 feet. That probably won't happen any time soon, but we just don't know at what temperature or how quickly Greenland can melt.

That's just wishful thinking.
Prior to the Flood, the earth was one tropical paradise -- no polar climatology.

A return to that condition is not going to have the devastating effect scientists want us to think it is.

It's just Y2K all over again.

I can't go down in the basement because of Radon gas, I can't go outside because of greenhouse radiation, I can stay inside because the lead-based paint on the wall is killing me, I can't drink the water because it has this dihydrogen monoxidized-something in it; and now I have to worry about drowning?

I'm not going to bother to respond to this, because it is crazy.

I can't go down in the basement because of Radon gas,
Have you had your basement tested for radon? Because that stuff is pretty dangerous.

I can't go outside because of greenhouse radiation,
Uh, what? That makes no sense. Perhaps you're thinking of the reduction in ozone coverage, which increases inbound UV radiation? Because that is an issue. It's a rather different issue than global warming (though global warming does impact ozone coverage), but it is an issue.

I can stay inside because the lead-based paint on the wall is killing me,
As long as you aren't chewing on it it's probably fine. The primary worry with lead-based paint is children.

I can't drink the water because it has this dihydrogen monoxidized-something in it; and now I have to worry about drowning?
You do realize that's a spoof website, right?

My maths is far too rusty for that. I would have to integrate the momentum of the earth and equate it to the momentum of the earth with a slightly expamded radius. I don't think I ever had the paitence for that evn if my maths was once good enough ( which it probibly was not).

You seem to be more of a scientis than me (plumber) can you find anything? The basic idea seem easy but ....see above.

I suppose you're going to proclaim the end of the world in the next few years when sea levels start going up much faster than 3.2mm/year again?
I am going to claim the "end of the world" when the muslims attack Isreal.

"The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution Friday "recognizing Israel's right to defend itself against attacks from Gaza," a measure that it said reaffirms the United States' strong support for Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. The bill, which was sponsored by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, passed by a vote of 390 to 5." CNN House passes bill recognizing Israel's right to defend itself - CNN

Psst....Greatcloud is a Global Cooling advocate too...

I'd forgotten about that. No wonder he's a fan of theirs.

I don't know, I see a rise on that chart.

Telling that you only pick the last three years.

Heck, he doesn't just cherry pick the last three years, but two data points on the chart. He ignores not just the consistent rise, but the spike in late '08 and a nearly 20 year high in late '09. Hmmm, I wonder what the chart will look like when the rest of '011's data are in.

The ross ice shelf has been growing for decades. It is only the western shelf that is melting some. It is more then made up for by the growing ice in the east part of Antarctica. The growing part in the east is a much larger area. So overall the Antarctica ice shelf is and has been growing significantly.

Yeah, that's just not true:

The most important takeaway:

Antarctica is not only losing ice, but it is doing so at a noticeably accelerating rate, over just seven years! That is incredibly worrying.
