  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

AI and I stumbled on something huge that could change the world in the next few years

Another person in my place could probably work two jobs, take care of a child as a single parent, lead community activities, and work on the invention at the same time. I just not that person I'm unable to focus on many things at once, it's my weakness. I have prayed to the Lord about it over and over, to give me strength and energy, tried my best to have faith but He's not granting me that prayer. Maybe the Lord have other plans for me.
You should start a gofundme. Or a kickstarter campaign.

Ironically, I asked chatgpt and researched about it months ago. It advised me it's a temporary solution at best.

I need to get enough attention from social media, etc so it's not going to be "free money" in sense. I still had to put a lot of work into it and I don't have time for that right now.

I already researched many options, including becoming a social media influencer for passive income, even investing / trading, etc. Both simple online research and through AI. I even research how I can use AI to help me with these possible income streams.

Nothing will work (except for one option) and I'll admit, I'm the weak link. And I don't think anyone is going to believe me, my story and circumstances makes a very weak case for finding support for this project.

What will work, chatgpt (AI) told me is that my sister is able to find me work in Canada. As ridiculous as it sounds. My sister is living in Canada. In a few years time which ties exactly to the time I'm able to do any serious work on it.

While Canada can't support the project directly, living Canada can make living a lot easier. Enough to allow me to split my time between work and working on the prototype.

OR hasten it, even fulfill those prophesies.

Imagine what superpowers like USA or China can do if they have engines to power their war machines that only uses air for fuel? Or Russia for that matter.
The fuel cost isn’t what’s holding back conflict between major powers.

Please, be careful, and back off from this technology.

AI is only dangerous if you're asking it on topics you know very little or nothing about and involves high risks like things concerning safety and health.

Chatgpt AI for example have given me very wrong recommendations before concerning my health. While the recommendation works for most people. I have a unique metabolic condition where the recommendation can be fatal for me if obeyed it blindly.

I thought maybe chatgpt is "hallucinating" again. I'm aware of the app's hallucination probability so we broke down component analysis piece by piece and then as a whole with every formulas subjected to scrutiny.

Incredibly, we arrived at the same conclusion as the initial one made by the AI.

So you used AI to break down AI's conclusions? And AI agreed with what AI had originally proposed? Or did you run this idea by another human engineer?

It's not the cost but the threat of cutting supply lines.

Still economics. Still Ironic that Europe still pays for Russian gas while helping arm Ukraine.

Major conflicts of interest. Energy independence will surely have a huge effect on regional dynamics around the world. Tearing down the walls that brings us closer to WWIII

I have tried to run this down with human engineer/scientist back in 2009 (without AI obviously) with a completely different design back then. The talk never progressed beyond, the possibility of harnessing molecular energy from ambient temperatures..

He never bothered to look. I gave up on it not long after.

So I'm not going to make the mistake again of showing it to another person at least not until I build the working prototype.

The theory is simple enough that scrutiny of every aspect of it didn't take long and it was easy.

If things got complicated, that couldn't be simply resolved with formulas, chatgpt would recommend me to use a 3rd party app like Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software. IN this case, it never did.

Have you actually used AI before like really use it heavily like analysis tasks at work? Or just repeating what other people said about AI?

Some of these "rumors" are true but had to be treated under certain context. If you don't supply AI with every possible detail that can affect its analysis, it can make a wrong analysis of the situation and give the wrong advice. You need to have good knowledge and experience of the topics you're discussing with AI so you can still scrutinize its output than blindly believing everything it's saying.

So, you're just running the information that AI gave you by AI? Dude...you're probably not too far away from getting sucked into a rabbit hole. Please back off of this tech.

I've used it. Extensively for work, and have had the opportunity to see how it works for personal research. It can present things logically, but its logical-seeming answers may not be true. I've also seen it agree with whichever approach a human suggests to it, even if it's a terrible approach.

Sure, it comes up with some helpful things. But I've seen it think in circles, struggle to come up with new ideas that it hasn't before, and hallucinate information, too. It is not as reliable as people believe. It needs, absolutely needs, human oversight and verification of answers. For ethics checks, fact checks, and how appropriate the responses are given your actual situation.

And given that many people tend to just talk one-on-one with AI and not show their conversations to anyone else, I strongly recommend not using this tech at all.

I'm giving up on my invention again since I don't have time to work on it. I need to be focused on my other responsibilities. Work, people under my care, personal problems, etc. I just wanted to share my experience with the work and how AI helped resurrect a dead concept I had last 2009 today in the year 2025.

But there's no way you can convince me to quit using AI. AI is of big help with job opportunities, getting me employed and now it's helping me keep the job through various lifestyle adjustments and actually using it for coding work. AI also helped a lot with my health problems.

Why should I give up on something that proved incredibly useful to me? You're not making sense.

If AI is more harm to you than benefit, you're probably doing something wrong with it. You're probably not able to communicate or collaborate with AI effectively. Nothing wrong with that, just don't make a habit of discouraging people who are actually succeeding with AI.

Alrighty, I'll back off. I'm just a bit worried, Werx. Please, don't take AI as anything more than a sometimes-accurate response generator that should always, always be checked and verified by an actual person. I'm nervous about people using it as a theological oracle, friend, or collaborative partner. Please, just always run what it's telling you by a person who cares about you, who's intelligent, and whom you can trust.

We already exhausted scrutiny of all the components which is not a lot, it's a relatively simple machine that's why it's going to be cheap in the first place.
Given the environmental harm and substantial suffering of beast and human occurring from energy needs and fossil fuels, you have a moral obligation to get this product to market, if not open-source it for immediate production worldwide, rather than sit on it and set it aside for later. If you can't do something with it now, work out an agreement with someone who can, or publish it with some copyright license free online. (There are some free licenses, like I think MIT, GNU.)
