So if you ask Scripture whether or not Baptism is necessary for regeneration, I'm sure you'll agree with yourself on whatever answer Scripture "tells" you-but not necessarily at all with other readers. Christian truth has never been about may-the-best-exegete-win, which is why even highly credentialed scholars still disagree over many interpretations. It's about the truth that Christ revealed to His Church and the world at His advent.He is not a spokesman for God. Scripture is.

You are partially right. But you make yourself the savior when it depends on your choosing baptism and the sacraments. Redemption: 100 percent the work of God, thru the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ!
Justification: our acceptance of redemption thru faith and baptism! Become a disciple and member of Christ and His Church!
Sanctification: the life of grace, virture, and good works, the just living by faith, and faith working thru love!
Salvation: a christian in the state if grace at the moment of death we enter into the salvation of the Lord!
