Of course it doesn't matter it was meant as a joke, the very idea that people spoke English a thousand years before it was even formed means that the person who thought of it should be committed.
Are you willing to commit me yourself? or will you leave that up to the Thought Police?

Now that you mention it AV I think it is of strategic importance that you be allowed to roam freely in CF; Your ideas do a lot to help the Atheist arguments.

Found this a bit interesting….

History of English

I mostly see a language’s origin as the result of some more ancient developed language or a synthesis of developed language. You would think if evolution was true you would have many multiples of languages springing up in all parts of the world (not developed) not just the few and some of those isolated.

Seems like the ark is the best explanation.

What does evolution have to do with language? Why would we expect what you claim and how can we test for it? Why is an Ark with everyone speaking the same language the best explanation? Why do we not see a genetic bottleneck and a corresponding rise homozygosity?

We are not to that argument yet…

We seem to share some common DNA with the chimp… why not language?

Why would we not expect to keep very good practices from our ape relatives?

If language ultimately evolved from ape like mannerisms: grunting and the throwing of poo, why don’t we have some South American tribe or society still adhering to that protocol?

Language is culture. Genes are biology. Cultural evolution is not the same as biological evolution. Your prejudice against South American tribes merits no response.

It appears that we have an example of that here:

"To demonstrate that they are pillars of modesty and morality who deserve the right to dictate how those around them dress and educate their children, what appears to be dozens of grown men took it upon themselves to throw feces at children going to school and scream to 8-year old girls about their [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]tishness."

And this from a society of “dozens of grown men” and to think social evolution strictly weeded this behavior out hundreds of thousands of years ago.

Half my family do not speak Greek. I am a close relative yet we don't speak the same language! Also languages do evolve; You would have an extremely hard time understanding the English spoken 1000 years ago as you will in English spoken in many parts of the world. American English not only has different words for the same things but the spelling is changing too.

Creationism is at best Cartoon physics and if you insist on the roadrunner and coyote way then please contact ACME corp. I am sure they will be happy to entertain your ideas.

For the same reason we don't multiply by cellular mitosis.

Some of the South Americans, when given the choice, preferred to not do so.

A somewhat nonsensical answer, as it is apparent that this behaviour has *not* been weeded out.

Hang on a minute!...

Let's not forget that any similarity is used by evolutionists to ascribe some sort of ancestry and familial connection between various kinds except when it doesn't. This of course renders the entire evolutionary assumption of similarity, be it morphological, genomic or behavioural, as bogus and unfalsifiable.

If evolutionists are simply able to invent terms such as homoplasy, convergent evolution, huge chunks of genomic information deleted, accelerated evolution of some genomic regions for some unknown reason not observed, new genes, duplications etc etc then you do not have a science. You do have hopefull scenarios and wishlists. All these terms are based on an evolutionary assumption. Really what you evolutionists are saying is all disimilarity will be hand waved away by some scenario or invented terminology of chance, while any similarity will be held to demonstrate an evolutionary connection.

The chaos theory of evolution - life - 18 October 2010 - New Scientist

As the above link speaks to, it is sad for evolutionists that they have found evolution to be chaotic and unpredictable. It is sad for evolutionists that in their fossil evidence traits come and go and no clear line is ever demonstrated. However that is the fact of your theory. Indeed the theory of evolution was more convincing before evolutionists found chaos and more research that poses more questions than it answers. Now all the attempts to reconcile DNA with morphology and all the invented terms required to handwave away anomolies has taken evolutionary theory into the land of non credibility.

I was kidding.

And that is indeed a strawman, I see.
