That's is the next step in the evolution worldview. Once an intelligent being can no longer be ignored as the "force" behind it all, instead of turning to God, atheists will turn to the stars.

I'm not sure you understand what evolution is.

Evolution deals with the diversity of life, not its origin. Evolution is not a world-view. Abiogenesis is the best explanation for the origin of life on earth, evolution occured after life started.

First, I would try to determine who this character was. If it truly was Jesus I'd ask where he had been all these years, in hiding and expecting others believe he existed.

I'd ask if he approved of everything in the old testament and why he sacrificed himself on the cross and "died for our sins" (twisted evil stuff). I wouldnt call such a character "lord".

Of course this will never happen but assuming it would.

I think it is different for each individual. My brother believes it may even be as old as 30 because it gives the individual time to be in the world on his own...the the person one is going to be is fully developed around this age.

For me, it was around 12 but i really can't give you an actual experience. I can just look back and see where my own decisions started directly affecting my personal relationship with God. I did not take Jesus as my Lord and Savoir till my early 20's though.

The world is in a bad state in many ways certainly. But there is still hope. The number of poor people in the world has been reduced drastically since 1990, as has the number of armed conflicts. In the early 1990's there were many wars going on in Africa simultaneously; now there's only a handful.

The Arab spring is still not over. We've seen many dictatorships crumble over the last year. Things are even looking up in Russia

The more secular a country is the more peaceful it is (you can look it up). About 10% of the American population are atheists, but they only make up less than 0.25% of the prison population!

That's not right. Not right at all. There's nothing merciful about that.

God never promises fairness. He allows our sins to shape the world to show us that we are not the answer, HE is. Those children in Africa and children here in the US and children everywhere live in a sinful world...THAT'S where the hurt come from, not from God...from ourselves. When you look at those children or any children with problems or diseases, tell yourself that it is our fault...ALL of ours that that little girl or boy is hurting today...not God's.
