Rev 20
The Judgment of the Dead
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
It is speculation, but if the wages of sin is death, then personally, I believe the unsaved will be anihilated after God's wrath is satisfied, based on it states nothing of the duration of being in the lake of fire.
Please explain the following verses -
45And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. MK 9
Yes I realize that you quoted this above. I wonder if you copied it from the Bible or from some religious material because of the
bolded title?
10And the devil that deceived them was
cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and
shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14And death and hell were
cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 20
Are there two different lakes of fire. Are the results different for humans than the false prophet, the beast and the devil are or will be residing?
Are the devil, the beast and false prophet annihilated?
