You, yourself, admitted that perspective makes a difference in how motion is perceived.

There is a difference in perceptive between the Northern and Southern hemispheres. This is confirmed by observation of the heavens. As has been mentioned in the thread, ... the Southern Hemisphere perspective shows stars that observers in the Northern hemisphere can't see ... and vice-versa.

There is no principle in flat earth cosmology which explains this phenomena ...
Oh.... for goodness sake... The earth, as a ball, is not spinning one direction above the equator and another direction below the creator...

Stand on the ground... look up... the stars can only move one way..... flat or ball....
sheesh....

Look south... from Toronto or Sydney..... they move left to right...

Look north... from Toronto or Sydney... they move right to left....

Unless the sun rises in the west in Oz..... that is.

The stars actually move in circular patterns ... so the stars will move BOTH right and left.

From ... Star trail - Wikipedia

Star trail photographs are possible because of the rotation of Earth about its axis. The apparent motion of the stars is recorded as mostly curved streaks on the film or detector.[3] For observers in the Northern Hemisphere, aiming the camera northward creates an image with concentric circular arcs centered on the north celestial pole (very near Polaris).[4] For those in the Southern Hemisphere, this same effect is achieved by aiming the camera southward. In this case, the arc streaks are centered on the south celestial pole (near Sigma Octantis).

Star trail photography shows this clearly ...

Sorry, I didn't realize that you lived at the North pole..

Let's, for your sake.. change that to counter clockwise when looking north... Happy?

The whole thing was a mirror image of the standard "flat earth" map. A corrected one is below.

But the original reversal didn't alter the main point, which is that January sunlight in the Southern hemisphere has longer days as you go further south. A flat earth simply can't explain this.

Of course, the point stands. It should be not neglected, being credibly shown helps, but those who want to neglect it still will, and just not answer a point like this, as they don't.

And in the North, stars appear to rotate around Polaris. In the South, they appear to rotate around the South Celestial Pole. That can't possibly work on a flat earth.

This is a really good one. No model of a flat, or any nearly flat, earth accounts for it or can account for it.

The stars could have a course they move in, while at the same time moving over the earth in the raqia.

It is know as the sun moves over the earth each day, as it moves it travels further south each day till it gets to its maximum southern path. Then begins to travel back from its most southern path back to it summers northern course.

And now we know why it behaves in this way.

Seem awful sure of yourself there. Keep walking in sight over faith and with the pride that 'nothing can account for it'. Lol, it can and it does.

How about this - you produce for me just ONE scripture that unambiguously teaches a ball earth, and I'll link you to a vid with a model that accounts for your apparent south celestial circumpolar stars. Deal?

Another chance for a civilian to go on another fake space trip.

Inspiration4 - Home

A person can pretend to board a rocket and get shot out into he ocean

So how do you think they would fake this? Wouldn’t it be pretty obvious if the rocket didn’t go to space?

What would even be the point of offering this if they can’t actually send people to space?

Well when there is millions in the bank to use in the deceptions, i would guess they have the money and the audience. Especially the ones who simply just believe every statement said, no questioning at all, really how hard is it to keep people believing not very.

The show brings glory to man.

What happened to china's artificial moon they were going to put up in their night sky to illuminate their land.
In one Chinese city, costly street lights could soon be a thing of the past.

By 2020, the Tian Fu New Area Science Society plans to launch an artificial moon to light up the night sky.

Example of how the moon, which is either a flat disc or a convex disc. When seen from straight up about (or close to straight up from above) is close to circular in shape. But when photographed close to the horizon the moon takes on a oval shape. Which is how a circular flat shape is viewed from above as it moves farther away from this straight above position, which is seen as circular.

Circular in shape seen from
straight above or close to above

Now oval in shape as seen close to the horizon.

It is refraction, of course. When you look at a stick in water it looks bent. Nobody believes the stick bends at the surface because we know about refraction as an everyday optical illusion.

I dare say this seems to simple to the credulous flat earthers.

A stick remains straight when viewed through water. From our perspective it appears bent.

The diagram is irrelevant because it assumes the disc-shape of the moon. The moon is a spheroid, like the earth. I don't believe there is much in the way of astronomy in your Bible so that is irrelevant too.

(Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that paracetamol soothes a pain in the neck, but it does!)
