  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I can't really put the words together to describe how I felt about it. I suppose all I can say is that it was as it should have been. I felt awful coming out of it though. Everything awful that can happen happens.

Yep, lots of terrible stuff. Regardless of my critical opinion, I loved the movie and I am very sad to see this chapter of my life ended. I can still remember the euphoria and joy that I experienced when EP I came out right as I graduated from high school. Of wordly pleasures, Star Wars ranks up their very high, indeed too high.

I thought they got rid of Count Dooku rather quickly. To me, he really went out like a punk, didn't put up much of a fight at all.

Of all three movies, the beginning of EP III was the most rushed I have ever seen. In my opinion, this is because Lucas goofed off too much with the first two movies so that he had so much to tell in EP III that he was forced to jump into the middle of the story with only the 3 paragraph introduction to guide the viewer. It would have been nice to have seen more of Dooku, although I would hardly call him a punk, but rather a pawn, just like the trade federation and Anakin.

Yes. Nevertheless, that´s what makes it so appealing. Relentless action through out. Keeping in the tradition of 1950s matinee cliff hangers and Flash Gordon space operas.

This chapter of your life hasn't ended...it's just begun! Now you can see them all over and over for the rest of your life. = ) Think positive.

I was more or less referring to the eager anticipation of the latest episode coming out every 3 years. With EP out last week, I have been transferred in my mind to what I was doing and what was going on in my life when the previous movies have come out. It is just sad to know that 6 years have flown by so quickly. It makes me wish that Lucas would do 7,8 & 9. Although we would all be depressed when that happens. Now I am starting a family and will look forward to sharing Star Wars with them in more of a Christian light than I first watched them. Also, for all of you gamers, there is the wonderful KOTOR series available on XBOX and PC.

Star Wars is far from over. The millions this movie is earning will keep it going long after Lucas has given it up.

Is it true that a TV show is coming out that will deal with the events between EP III & EP IV. At least that is something new to look forward to.

I'm not going to bother to read through 25 pages, so if this has been brought up before...sorry.

Has anyone else listening to the radioplay versions of the original trilogy? They're AWESOME! I love them all! The acting is very good. It uses some of the original cast and new people as well. Most of the new people are good, but Jon Lithgow plays Yoda in ROTJ and...eh...I didn't care for his performance. He just didn't do the voice right. I forgot who does the voice in ESB...I'm not sure if it was Frank Oz or not. I think the best part is all the extra scenes. One of the best is the "interrogation scene" in ANH. In the movie they cut away as the torture droid comes in, but in the radio play version they don't. It's very good. I'd recommend it to anyone.
