Yeah, with it and the FTP both downloading at once, things definitely feel slower! Alright, thanks for the advice about downloading, I lurk on STG a bit but I feel uncomfortable there.

Hi Axver

Sorry to drag this out, I need to winge :) I'm on the same speeds as you 512/112 I have started downloading the Sydney show from the FTP and I'm currently downloading the Joshua Tree DVD. And you wouldn't believe how long it takes to load a page. Gee It was already taking about 1 or 2 minutes to load a page with just the BT going. Oh.. and a question, is the Sydney show really unedited? I'm currious.

As for STG, I have never posted there. Like you i feel bit uncomfortable, It's a big place.

Axver said:
It's not that they weren't happy with the Popmart video, it's that they were unhappy with Popmart in general. I think it was Larry who said he thought it was ludicrous, though by the fourth leg, the band really was on fire and hit their stride in a big way. Lovetown's the tour they most want to forget, apparently. Not because the music was bad - it was expletiving incredible - but because it was a hard time for the band internally.
I know Bono had problems with it. I thought larry must of been joking about that ludicrous bit. Gee... The 90's was a bit of bumpy ride for U2.

I remember wachting a Current affair when they were in Melbourne.

I'm trying to remember it six years ago, At the start of a current Affair, Ray Martin goes "Well I guess that when it comes to Rock bands they don't come Any bigger, Any better or Any busier than U2 and thev'e been on the road for nearly a year and we have got them on video from Agentina" They then play Mofo, at the end of that he said to Bono the band has "allienated" many of their fans because of the huge changes, and Bono jumps in Saying "We aren't doing this for money we are doing this for something much bigger, we are doing it for self-respect. "we are trying to kick rock and roll into the future"! "When you have 50-100 thousand people come to see you play, you have to blow their minds!"

I can't remember after that, but there was a cool part when Bono points his finger at the camera. He looked really weird with the hood and shades on. He was also on Hey... hey.. it's Saturday as well, and Molly meldrum did an interview with him. At the time i was pretty annoyed when people were mocking him, pulling thier jumpers over head. I didn't see it funny at all, and Bono looked rather irritated, and never smiled or talked, He was very quiet.

And the end of the tour i heard Bono say in an interview that they were lossing money and had to broadcast their shows live on air, and go on Cheesy TV shows, and stated he would have rather not have.

So you are right Axver, they weren't 100% happy with Popmart. But i would love to see it come out on DVD.

Axver said:
That's a real shame! I know Lisbon and Thessaloniki don't exist (I think they do, just some tapers are keeping it rare), but I am sure Warsaw does, because I've seen traders state they have 94 of 96 Popmart shows.

The warsaw show is out there, but the quality is shocking and that the music is unlistenable, thats what i found out on the net.

Axver said:
Did I tell you about the bloke I know in Shepparton who has the whole U2BloodRedSky catalogue on twenty-eight DVDs? I envy him like you wouldn't believe. Thanks for the uploads! That's awesome, I have the Super Bowl video and MP3, but you can never go wrong with SHN. Isn't Outside Broadcast already on the FTP? I think it's taken from Austin, Texas, but I'm not 100%. I'll have to check For Love Or Money. The East Rutherford show would be fantastic! I'd love to hear that.

You haven't acttualy, I can tell you I'm very Jealous!!! 28 DVD's of the whole BloodRedSky catalogue? Maybe we should make a trip to Shepparton (if you have his address) Lets knock on his door and make a few demands!!!

I haven't uploaded the whole East Rutherford show yet, only uteotw. I will, once i have finished what i have been downloading now. I also have the Sarejevo show in flac. Another looseless format like SHN It's straight from the original CD and the quality is just amazing!! However It's 1 GIG and would take a while to upload. Do you really want it?

And i was just thinking... what Band members do you like, would get along with the most? All the Girls love Larry, however I'm different I personally love Adam :pink: I love the dry sense of humor he has, he cracks me up! I think you would mostly get along with Bono the most,

Am i right?

And one last thing, I forgot to mention that i found the Tripple M interview on a pay FTP. Do you want it? I only mentioned it earlier in the thread to state the change in Bono's voice, But he was saying he lost his voice at the time,he had a cold or something but it fitted well with "In a little while" I'm Sorry i wasn't sure on what he said, I only heard it once before that. I don't have a good memory like you :)

I've just been listening to a really good, emotional performance of please~1998-03-11

This next tune is an Irish tune, this is a prayer an Irish prayer

So you never knew love
Until you crossed the line of grace.
And you never felt wanted
Till you'd someone slap your face.
So you never felt alive
Until you'd almost wasted away.

You had to win, you couldn't just pass
The smartest *** at the top of the class
Your flying colours, your family tree
And all your lessons in history.

Please, please, please
Get up off your knees.
Please, please, please, please, oh yeah.

And you never knew how low you'd stoop
To make that call
And you never knew what was on the ground
Till they made you crawl.
So you never knew that the heaven
You keep you stole.

Your Catholic blues, your convent shoes,
Your stick-on tattoos now they're making the news
Your holy war, your northern star
Your sermon on the mount from the boot of your car.

Please, please, please
Get up off your knees.
Please, please, please
Leave me out of this, please.

So love is hard
And love is tough
But love is not
What you're thinking of.

September, streets capsizing
Spilling over down the drains
Shard of glass, splinters like rain
But you could only feel your own pain.

October, talk getting nowhere.
November, December; remember
We just started again.

Please, please, please
Get up off your knees, yeah.
Please, please, please, please, ah.

So love is big
Is bigger than us.
But love is not
What you're thinking of.
It's what lovers deal
It's what lovers steal
You know I've found it
Hard to receive
'Cause you, my love
I could never believe.

Please...please...please..please...please...please
get up off your knees now please...please...please

get up off your knees now

pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease......pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease...............................
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease..............pleeeeeeeeeeeeee

Gah, I know what you mean about those speeds! At the moment I'm just running the bit torrent, it's more manageable that way! I downloaded Sydney, and I'm sad to say, I'm pretty sure it's the edited version. I wish someone would put the unedited version online, I'd love to see it! I think both of us need much faster speeds!

As for STG, I have never posted there. Like you i feel bit uncomfortable, It's a big place.
Yeah, I'm afraid of being flamed for asking a really stupid technical question that's answered in a FAQ (of course, it'd be the only FAQ I hadn't looked at, haha).

I know Bono had problems with it. I thought larry must of been joking about that ludicrous bit. Gee... The 90's was a bit of bumpy ride for U2.
Yeah, the 90s were definitely an interesting decade for our Irish lads. Seems now Bono and Adam want to play arenas while Edge and Larry want the stadiums (Larry, that's understandable because stadiums means less concerts which means less tiring on his wrists). I want both, I'd love a tour akin to ZooTV. I'm planning for it already. University's going to be great, I'm going to do a lot of travelling while I'm there. With Larry ... I know he hated the Passengers project the most. "There's a line between art and self-indulgence and we crossed it with Passengers."

I remember wachting a Current affair when they were in Melbourne.

They then play Mofo, at the end of that he said to Bono the band has "allienated" many of their fans because of the huge changes, and Bono jumps in Saying "We aren't doing this for money we are doing this for something much bigger, we are doing it for self-respect. "we are trying to kick rock and roll into the future"! "When you have 50-100 thousand people come to see you play, you have to blow their minds!"
You tell them, Bono! The biggest alienation came with AB, and most people have come crawling back now.

At the time i was pretty annoyed when people were mocking him, pulling thier jumpers over head. I didn't see it funny at all, and Bono looked rather irritated, and never smiled or talked, He was very quiet.
Yeah, that's just stupid. Seems a lot of people totally missed the point.

And the end of the tour i heard Bono say in an interview that they were lossing money and had to broadcast their shows live on air, and go on Cheesy TV shows, and stated he would have rather not have.
Well, despite what Bono may have said, that's untrue. Popmart was the fourth highest grossing tour in history. It earned over 171 million US dollars in total gross, and their promoter got the job because he GUARANTEED them a profit of 100 million US dollars. If U2 had not earned this profit, he would cover it with his own cash, that is how he got the job over two other promoters. As it turned out, U2 made 101 million US dollars in profit. That said, it cost thousands upon thousands to keep that tour on the road each day, whether they played or not. I forget the exact figure.

But i would love to see it come out on DVD.
I say stuff the Mexico show on DVD, GIVE US SARAJEVO! But that won't happen, Bono would be too embarrassed to release something with his voice that **** on it.

The warsaw show is out there, but the quality is shocking and that the music is unlistenable, thats what i found out on the net.
Ah, I see. Real shame about that, it's still one I'd like to hear ... especially after being told ZooTV Christchurch is unlistenable. Absolute ****. Sure, bad quality, but it's still a good show.

I can tell you I'm very Jealous!!! 28 DVD's of the whole BloodRedSky catalogue? Maybe we should make a trip to Shepparton (if you have his address) Lets knock on his door and make a few demands!!!
Yeah, I'm definitely very jealous too! I do actually have his address, we've traded before and we're going to again (2 December 1997 and the Axtung Beibi Out-takes weren't on U2BloodRedSky). I need to come down to Victoria with 28 blank DVDs and demand he burn it! Though it is in MP3, bah.

That'd be awesome if you could upload the whole East Rutherford show sometime, I'd appreciate it heaps. I have an original-sourced copy of Sarajevo, but my version has these two second gaps between each track as a result of bad burning. I'm going to try to edit them out, they drive me nuts. So don't worry about uploading it just yet. FLAC ... do I need any special software to play that?

And i was just thinking... what Band members do you like, would get along with the most? All the Girls love Larry, however I'm different I personally love Adam :pink: I love the dry sense of humor he has, he cracks me up! I think you would mostly get along with Bono the most,

Am i right?
Yeah, definitely seems like all the girls go for Larry, I personally don't know much about him myself, he's the band member I really know the least about. You'd be right about Bono ... it's hard to choose between Bono and Edge. Edge would be my intellectual equal, I'd love to have a long, deep conversation with him, but Bono's just so amazing in all he says and does. I'd like to sit down and talk with both of them.

Adam's definitely cool, that's for sure. I reckon he has awesome stage presence.

And one last thing, I forgot to mention that i found the Tripple M interview on a pay FTP. Do you want it? Is that the Triple M interview from 2000? If so, then I have that, someone on Interference uploaded some MP3s to their own site just a couple of days ago! I've listened through it a couple of times, it's interesting.

That performance of Please ... is that the Johannesburg one? I need to download that! MP3s are online somewhere, I just haven't got around to getting them.

We do, the reason why I'm not coming here often is because I'm to lazy to wait a few minutes for each page to load. I have just been on the bloodredsky dc++ hub downloading the Sao poulo popmart dvd, and Iv'e just about finished the the Joshua tree dvd 96% 5 hours to go. I was just chatting with Propaganda and he offered to trade with me the Zootv dvd straight from the laser disc. At the time i thought i didn't really want it, but i'm starting to regret it. hehe It's amazing how much stuff is there.

Cool!! Wish i could see them in America but I'll see them here. I know larry didn't like passengers but i love it! I listen to it a fair bit of passengers, it has an edgy feel to it. it's different. I agree that i would love to see them in a stadium, for some odd reason i like stadiumsbetter.

So with Uni, where is it? and what are you going to study there? If you don't mind me asking.

I'll upload it this week, it's a good sounboard. And as for flac, there are quite a few U2 shows in that format. it's a plug in for winamp download it here

Larry is a very private person isn't he? I see him as the best drummer in the world, and the most handsome. However if i was given an option out of dating out of all of them, i would still choose Adam! and he is at the bottom of some peoples list. I like his voice, I love it on the Joshua tree documentary when they were discussing WTSHNN and Adam was saying he didn't appreciate the hours of thought that had gone into such an idea, it just seemed like another way of ****ing the band up!!! Another good part is in a interview about the Grammy's and they asked Adam how he felt about winning the grammys and says "well it was like Christmas in July"

And as for Edge, we all know how smart he is. I see him as a bit nerdy lol,he is. but yeah... I think you would get long with him very well.

I'm currently burning my whole U2 bootleg collection onto CD. Oh, this is going to be an arduous task. However, I'm thinking it might not need as many CDs as I first thought, so that's a relief. Burning it as data helps immensely, though I'm going to burn my favourite bootlegs in audio too. A bit of a missing track request for the FTP if you don't mind: do you happen to have The Electric Co. from 14 October 1980, Hilversum? I have a copy that's cut off, but it's an awesome soundboard of an awesome gig and I'd like to burn a full audio version.

Ah, I see! I'm getting reasonable page loading times with just the single bit torrent going. I'm at 54% right now, 99 hours left. Sao Paulo ... do I have that one? No, I don't. I was going to, but the trader couldn't rip it so he sent me Santiago instead, which is another very cool gig. I might get on the BloodRedSky hub at some point, but I'm happy with what I use at the moment.

I'm one of these poor sods who doesn't have Passengers, I need to order it in. I'm not quite sure how I'll manage to see them in America, but come Hell or high water, I'M SEEING THEM IN ATLANTA! I'm determined. I've never even been to a live show before, so it'll be very exciting for me. Do you happen to know where bands are playing in Brisbane nowadays? ZooTV and Popmart were at ANZ Stadium but they won't use that. I'm hoping they play the 'Gabba. Carrara Stadium would be awesome, but it's not going to happen.

So with Uni, where is it? and what are you going to study there? If you don't mind me asking.
Well, I'll hopefully be studying journalism at the University of Queensland. I can't wait. Talking them into letting me having time off for the U2 tour hopefully won't be too hard. If the worst comes to the worst, I'll just go and catch up as best I can.

I noticed a lot of people had a sarajevo vcd@the hub I'm going to download it one day. The quality is ****, but i don't care.
Yeah, I hear the quality's not brilliant, but I love that gig so I need to get it too. I think that VCD will get me on the hub! Haha.

I'll upload it this week, it's a good sounboard. And as for flac, there are quite a few U2 shows in that format. it's a plug in for winamp download it here
Coolness, thanks.

Haha, yeah, that's good. I like listening to him talk because he still sounds so English, despite the fact he only lived in England for a single year. Him and Larry, I notice their accents, but I rarely ever notice Edge or Bono. There's one bootleg, I think it's opening night of Elevation in Miami, where Bono mentions Ali's there, that "she's got a baby in her belly" and I reckon it's the most Irish I've ever heard him sound. When he and Edge are singing, I reckon they sound normal. I've had people say "They sound so Irish!" and "I can't understand him sometimes!" but to me, he's as clear as day. Maybe I'm meant to be Irish - I notice Kiwis singing more than I have ever noticed U2!

And as for Edge, we all know how smart he is. I see him as a bit nerdy lol,he is. but yeah... I think you would get long with him very well.
Edge is such a legend. I'd love to have a long conversation with him and have a duel of intelligence, haha. I'd ask him to teach me to play the 11 O'clock Tick Tock riffs at speed (I can play the whole song, but I do the riffs slowly) - duelling guitars on the 11 O'clock Tick Tock riff would be amazing live. You know how sometimes people are pulled out from the audience to play guitar? If they did that to me, I'd pull a trick and start playing an old song. "C'mon Bono, it's An Cat Dubh!"

And with Adam's stage presence ... I find when there's a video of him, you're just drawn to him. He doesn't do much, but there's just this aura about him and he's plain cool anyway. The afro rocked.

Warning...... MacPhisto ramblings ahead!!!
Wooo! MACPHISTO! I should so name my first son Zooropa MacPhisto, haha.

People of Sarajevo Count your blessings There are those all over the world Who have food, heat, and security But they're not on TV like you are.
Best MacPhisto quote EVER. No competition.

But how about Mirrorball Man?

"Love! Love! Money! Love! Money! Love! Money! I believe, I believe in poetry, electricity, cheap perfume. I believe in M&Ms, I believe in Coca-Cola. I believe in you, I believe for you. I have a vision! I have a vision! Television! Television!" - end of Desire, 16 August 1992, Washington DC

Burning your whole collection onto cd will take a while, I currently have a nice 120 Gigs of U2. how much do you have? uploaded Electric Co mp3, Along with the East Rutherford soundboard and a (streets only) pro-shot 1989-12-31 dublin video )The video is really cool! especially when all the balloons go up at the stroke of midnight and the dave fanning intro looks good too, but there is a bit of editing. Would you like me to put up the sao poulo Mpeg for you to download? It's 1.2 Gig but It's a good show

Fair enough... Iv 'e watched some of the Joshua tree dvd that is complete. It is Awesome quality! However i like the Zootv Rotterdam dvd better, i just do.

They have heaps of vcd's over there at the hub, 100's of them :pink:

Good to know you are going to see them in Atlanta. I know that when they were in Melbourne they played Waverly park, but that has now been pulled down and houses built there. I don't know where bands play in Brisbane. All i know is that last time our band was there, they got kicked out of the noosa night club. remember the sandal scandal? hehe

Well, I'll hopefully be studying journalism at the University of Queensland. I can't wait. Talking them into letting me having time off for the U2 tour hopefully won't be too hard. If the worst comes to the worst, I'll just go and catch up as best I can.

Cool! Just a another question, how do you concentrate on your studies when your mind is nearly constantly occupied by U2? LOL, I know when i was at school i used to have my headphones on all the time listening to u2. (I was antisocial sometimes) i blame U2. Luckily most people in my class loved U2 as well! Though there was some u2 haters around.

That would be cool. though i think Bono might have forgotten how to play a Cat Dubh by now lol. I hope Bono pulls me up on stage one day, though i don't know how to play guitar. but it would be cool just to dance with him.

So you can play 11 O'clock Tick Tock on your guitar? Awesome! maybe you should get your own cover band going. Though just a couple of lessons with edge would be helpful, the brains of the band. thats why i could him a bit nerdy ;]

How do you get into FTP sites? I was trying to get into it a few years ago, but got away from it. I had trouble at the time connecting. Just couldn't get the knack of it. I love the live shows. I am really interested in the ones that U2 sung Hawkmoon 269 live. Also I'd love to get some of the early stuff from when they first began.

I love U2 too!

Axver & Neenie - Have you ever heard of the Alarm. I think that you would like them a lot as well. They toured with U2 on the War tour in 1983. They are also one of my favorite bands.

Hi Oldrooster :)

I have heard of of the Alarm, but i only know one song called "The stand" sounds alot like old U2, It's good. They must of been their support act for the War tour, though I don't have any alarm shows.

Have you heard of Echo and the bunnymen? I know they did a lot of touring with U2 at the start, they played the same gigs and all, but I wouldn't know any of their songs.

Hi Lisa

I have got most of my U2 stuff from this FTP site. There is link that you can download for free, but you have trouble connecting. I paid for a years subscription. Another place to download U2 is here and you also need to run this program to download. Or you can try kaaza ;)

And here is another site with a dozen of their early shows for download.

Axver might be able to help you with other download sites. Hawkmoon 269 sounds cool live!

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd drop in and tell you I might be away for a bit. I've been so tired lately, I don't know why, and I need all the sleep I can get. Once I get through replying to LiveJournal comments, eating dinner, and checking the U2 news, I find I'm too exhausted and tired to even do my homework. I'm totally wasted. I don't know when I'll be here next, probably on Friday afternoon.

Have a good one and keep listening to U2!

Hey folks, just thought I'd pop in to give the latest news on the new album. There's a LOT of chatter about single in September, album in October. Bono's said it, and we know what he's like, but LARRY has now said it. An Italian fan cornered him at Hanover Quay and got the news from him. Pop the article here into an Internet translator and you should get something decipherable. But check out the photos with Larry - he still looks young! Does this guy ever age?

I'll probably be back later today. For now, school, or back to bed if I keep feeling unwell ...

Cool! Thanks Axver! and larry

Most of their Albums have been released in October since the first best of, So I'm hoping for the single in September.Larry still still looks young As usual. he looks like a young man in his mid 20's. Will he ever age? Not in our lifetime...

And Just been watching Sarejavo Popmart. Excellent show! better than I expected. And I have been watching Popmart sao-paolo and a Popmart documentary of the Warsaw show.

I uploaded the stuff I mentioned before to the FTP. I haven't fully finished downloading the sarejevo show yet. If you want any of this stuff, i'll upload it.

I hope you are feeling better now Axver.......

Alright, I'm back. Feeling a bit better and with the long weekend (woohoo, Labour Day!) I should have some time on here. Bah, got lots of schoolwork coming up. But you know what's really good? Watching Popmart Mexico while eating some really nice home-made pizza. I make the food, U2 makes the music - perfect arrangement!

It's 1.2 Gig but It's a good show
Wow, 120 gigs! That's even more than I have! I've got 50 gigs, most of that being MP3 format shows, and I'm slowly getting it onto CD! However, some stuff I don't have on my hard drive. Thanks for uploading that stuff, I really appreciate it and it's downloading now. I find having both the FTP and BT running slow my speeds down in a HUGE way. Does a full video exist of the 31-12-89 show, or is that just a rumour? Hmm ... if you have time, that'd be really awesome if you could put up Sao Paulo, but you don't have to.

ZooTV Rotterdam - 87% done, 31 hours to go! Woo!

I don't know where bands play in Brisbane. All i know is that last time our band was there, they got kicked out of the noosa night club. remember the sandal scandal? hehe
The what now? I don't recall that. U2 played the MCG on ZooTV, right? I imagine they'll play there again this time. I'm surprised they played Waverley on Popmart. My predictions for venues;

Brisbane - 'Gabba or Suncorp Stadium (I say 'Gabba)
Gold Coast - Carrara Stadium (I'm hopeful!)
Sydney - Stadium Australia/Telstra Stadium/Whatever-they're-calling-it-now
Melbourne - MCG
Adelaide - Oh, what's the name of the ground they play the cricket on there? Uhh ... Cricket Ground, I suppose.
Perth - I think they're rather stuck for a venue. They played the Burswood Dome on Popmart, is that still there?
Auckland - Western Springs Stadium
Wellington - WestpacTrust Stadium, aka The Cake Tin (all the big acts have played there, it won't get missed like on ZooTV)
Christchurch - Lancaster Park (I REFUSE to call it Jade Stadium)
Dunedin - Carisbrook Stadium, aka The House Of Pain (Won't happen, but I'm hopeful)

Just a another question, how do you concentrate on your studies when your mind is nearly constantly occupied by U2?
I don't. Hehe. I actually find U2 very good to study to, though when I'm writing poetry, I struggle to listen to them. I get too tempted to quote!

LOL, I know when i was at school i used to have my headphones on all the time listening to u2. (I was antisocial sometimes) i blame U2. Luckily most people in my class loved U2 as well! Though there was some u2 haters around.
I'm antisocial most times. I rarely take my discman to school because I'm stingy with money, and thus stingy with batteries, which I feel are over-priced. However, I've lately taken to sitting in the library at lunchtimes reading (I'm loving Dante's Divine Comedy), so I may take my discman in with me. Almost everyone I know at least respects U2 for what they've done, so that's good.

With regards to The Alarm ... I haven't heard them, but I have heard of them and I understand they're popular in parts of the U2 community.

I don't know of any live performances of Hawkmoon 269 online, but here is a list of download sites. May be some at some sites listed, I'm not sure.

Alright, I need to be off, this reply's taken me longer than I expected. Glad the Sarajevo video's good, I'm dying to see it! I LOVE that concert! Definitely good news from Larry, and I bet heaps of people want whatever it is he has that keeps him young! Hehe. Anyway, have a good one!

Hi Axver,

Good to see you better! This is going to be a very short reply, I'll reply the rest tomorrow. I'm uploading Popmart in Poland, Sao polo, and avatars wallpapers ect right now in a folder called U2 upload, instead of doing it individually. I'm starting to download a very rare Zootv indoor Sweden pro-shot. Excellent quality!!! I'll upload that when finished. I'm also downloading Popmart SHN's, finished Johannesburg and Buenos Aires.

I'm really turning into a fanatic, I shouldn't be like this at my age :sigh: and I really don't have the time. I'll be happier tomorow

From The Courier-Mail:

Sandal scandal band buckle down

IRISH supergroup U2 were brought down to earth with a thud when they went to a Noosa nightclub on Tuesday night to unwind before their concert at ANZ Stadium in Brisbane last night.

But members of the band, which has sold more than $70 million in records, were turned away by an officious doorman because they were wearing sandals. The sandal scandal was a running joke during their concert before 30,000 fans.

After a grand entrance where the four band members walked through the crowd, lead singer Bono kicked off the gig by proudly displaying his boots to a camera which beamed the image on to the world’s biggest television screen forming a stunning backdrop to one of the biggest shows Brisbane has ever seen.

At one point he ad-libbed the lyrics saying: "I hope I’m wearing the right shoes tonight" and later took a swipe at bad boys Oasis, the pretenders to their throne who caused mayhem on their flight to Perth on Monday night.

"We make the news when we get thrown out of Rolling Rock for wearing sandals while our mates are getting busted for hijacking airplanes." The crowd roared with laughter.

From the techno-based sound to the hits of 17 years ago, the two-hour extravaganza ranged from sensory overload harnessing the latest technology money could buy, to moments when it was just two men and two guitars and so quiet you could have heard a sandal drop.http://www.u2world.com/news/article.php3?id_article=15464

Yeah I'm also surprised they played wavery park, Mostly because It's such a **** venue. I agree with your setlist If they do a stadium tour. The MCG would be fantastic! I don't think anyone has done a Gig there in years. And as for the Adelaide oval, I think It's called the Adelaide football ground If memory serves me. whats the Gabba like?

I've never heard of the full show on video, Some others have an extended version with half of "I will follow" and thats all I've heard of. I just watched some more of the Sweden pro-shot and It looks ****. At the start It looked good, but the picture was a golden color, as the concert started It never went to the right color.

Axver said:

Yeah, It's good. Not perfect, but better than I expected and watchable. The person I was downloading It from has disappeared! But there Is a search engine at the hub to continue downloading where it left off from someone else. So It should be finished in a day or so... The Warsaw video has will be finished 5 minutes from now. So you can download now.
