The picture Is good! Iv'e had It for while, and It's on vhs, Though It Is the worst concert I have heard them perform.

Heh, yeah, it's a shocker, huh? I've got MP3s of it. Still cool to hear some rare performances though, such as full band SATS and IGWSHA. I wish they'd stuck with some songs for longer. I'm currently about 1/3 of the way through downloading part two of Sarajevo. I watched the first part this morning before school and it's really awesome. Thanks again for uploading it!

Sheesh.... There Isn't much to discus now since wev'e covered a bit on this thread. We need new U2 news! even If It's made made up rumors.

Yeah, I know! Things have gone quiet all over the U2 world. Alright, let's add some flavour to the conversation: the photos for the album will obviously relate to the content, so considering the locations they shot photos in in Portugal, what do you think that tells us to expect?

Yes I do, and It's a great video! I have goldmine of Music video's, and live performance shows though It's all post JT. I also have a rare MTV documentary of the Joshua tree, they mostly play pool and go to country pubs playing gigs... It was good seeing Bono and Edge go to the cowboy shop to get their hat and boots. Ok I must stop downloading to much U2! hehe.

Wow, that is so cool! How do you find this stuff, just on the hub? I'm thinking of getting a plan with a better download limit so I can do more downloading. That reminds me, I need to e-mail the University of Queensland and ask what restrictions they have on 'net usage next year. If they have major restrictions ... gah, I'd go nuts. I'm hoping there aren't (m)any and that the speeds are good, so that I can really have some fun during uni!

Yeah... Mostly from the Arnor pay FTP, RTC and the hub. You and I both need faster speeds. So you might get fast speeds at uni and burn stuff to disc? Cool!

Any I have been listening to "One" live from the Millennium Party at the white house. I've had It for a while, but It's hands down the best live version I have ever heard. I'm willing argue It!

My birthday tribute to Bono.

I don't know much about Portugal. All i know Is they were at the Great Beach in Sintra, getting photo shoots in an empty pool. Maybe the new Album will be called "Water" "Waterless pool" or something?

Well, they also shot photos in a discotheque that's part of a redeveloped wharf/industrial area. Thus, that makes me think of a raw sound. An empty pool ... "in a dry and waterless place" - UF. Heh. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I think Solar Winter would be a really awesome title though!

Faster speeds are a must, and now my ISP is recording my usage wrong! It's higher than it should be. Bah, this is annoying, I may not be able to do much downloading for the rest of the month. Uni better have nice limits, I really have to get around to e-mailing them!

this may be old news by now, but, according to www.atu2.com, Paul McGuiness, the manager, (however you spell his name) said the new album would out in November. And very recent news indicates that they plan on going to Madison Square Garden for their next tour, which may help decide if they are doing stadiums or indoor arenas for their next tour.

I'm listening to it now, very cool. Bono's speech beforehand is good! Personally, I prefer it when they end with the 'Do you hear us coming?' verse, and I was surprised to hear the quote of My Sweet Lord. Their cover of that in Atlanta, 30 November 2001 is really good.

I wish it had been one of those songs! I think Popmart had the worst Bullet (though it was still brilliant!), and I'm not a Streets fanatic like some, but I think that rendition of Please is one of the greatest things ever. I routinely rank it as third on lists of best songs, behind two performances of 11 O'clock Tick Tock. Sarajevo had a lot of songs that creep onto that list: Mofo, Please, Discotheque, One.

I'm happy they will be using multiple setlists on the next tour to mix things up a bit as well.

Yeah, it'd be awesome. Maybe it hints at a combined arena/stadium tour, like what the Rolling Stones did. Bono did come onstage once during that tour and he's known to follow what works for other bands ...

Oh yes, I heard about that. If I remember correctly, he said single in September, album in October/November, tour in February, and the album would be "their first rock and roll album."

Awesome! I've got two copies of Slane myself, haha. How absolutely amazing is it? I too have that U2's Beautiful Day special, it was aired on Christmas Day 2002 here, and it's interesting to note that the "for Bob Hewson" before Walk On is cut from the full DVD. And yeah, those little interviews are really cool..

I'm, sure the boys have done other great performances, but Slane is just astounding!
Yeah, I did notice the dedication to his father cut out too.

The Vox sure still has his vox.

It's a wonderful performance, but for an INSANE Bullet The Blue Sky: 11 June 1992, Stockholm. Edge just goes nuts on the solo. 5 March 1992, Atlanta is also incredible, where Bono throws a fit at the end, yelling "Shut the f*** up!" four times..

That's such a hilarious moment, along with "All I want is f***in' you, man." I made a LiveJournal icon out of the beach ball scene;

I have a heap of other U2 LJ icons here. My two favourites are down the bottom - one from the I Will Follow video and the other of Edge jumping up and down during UTEOTW, 15 June 1992.

Like that part during All I Want is You too.Hehe, and I like that icon! You've got some nice pics there. The one with Edge jumping up and down is funny.

I think they were all having a heap of fun. The toilet paper scene is great, especially how Bono nearly starts laughing during the song. I think he'd rather appreciate the water, and what about the huge inflatable hammer and bottle of Guinness?! Those are wonderful.

Missed the big hammer, but I did catch the bottle of Guiness. I'm sure Bono liked that.
I bet that water felt good to him, what with all the running and flailing around on stage he does.
