That's a bold statement considering Jesus started the church and gave it a new covenant.
Do you have scripture to back this up? Who are the "saints" and what period of time are you talking about?
The AoD is set up at the same time as the sacrifices are stopped. As Daniel 9:27 sayshe abomination that causes desolation is placed exactly 1290 days after the daily sacrifice if abolished.
Daniel 12:11 NIV: "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
Do you always have to change Gods words to make them fit your back ackward theories or do you do,it for fun.The AoD is set up at the same time as the sacrifices are stopped. As Daniel 9:27 says
The 1290 days are an extension of the 1260 days in Revelation, of 30 days, to allow for the Temple to be cleansed after Jesus Returns.
The sacrifices are stopped when the ToD is committed (Daniel 8:11-13). A short time later, the sacrifices still stopped, is when the AoD is placed in the temple. The AoD is set up at the same time as the sacrifices are stopped. As Daniel 9:27 says
I understand that some people take this view. I, however, are not one of them. None of this has taken place. It is coming soon though.Jesus said at the time of the abomination that causes desolation ,then shall be great tribulation.
Matthew 24:21 For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again.
The abomination that causes desolation is placed exactly 1290 days after the daily sacrifice if abolished.
Daniel 12:11 NIV: "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
The saints in Israel will understand this when the daily sacrifice is abolished. This also marks the start of thier persecution(tribulation).
Daniel 11:33 NIV: "Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered.
So at the beginning of the occupation ,the daily sacrifice is abolished. The start of the saints tribulation in,Israel.
After 1290 days or 42 months the abomination of desolaton is placed. This is the great tribulation.
They will know the exact day the abomination is to be placed long before it is.
Its like when God told Noah about the flood before it happened. Then at a given time he told him the exact day it would rain.
It is coming soon.In fact I believe Trump shall soon send a host to Israel.I understand that some people take this view. I, however, are not one of them. None of this has taken place. It is coming soon though.
What do you mean? Send a host to Israel, what's a host?It is coming soon.In fact I believe Trump shall soon send a host to Israel.
That's not true at all. The war lasted 7 years. They just took control of Jerusalem in 70 ad. Taking Jerusalem was not the end of the war.It wasn't really 7 years as it was over in Ad70, there were just some rebels hiding out that were eventually killed off or died from suicide but the Roman's were in control by Ad70.
Which passage? If you read the passage carefully, you will see that this reign takes place in heaven, not on earth.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. No, it is end times, this generation.
Ok, let’s assume you are right about “multiple questions multiple answers....”
If So, can you show me where in the discourse Jesus answers His disciples question about “WHEN the temple would fall.”?
You assert above That Jesus did in face address that question.
If so, Can you cite the verse?
Jesus was talking about the generation that sees Jerusalem back in the hands of the Jews, since he had previously prophesied that they would be scattered among the nations.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Matthew 24:34 KJV
He was talking directly to his apostles, not us. How can it be our generation?
Where does the Bible say that the Jews would return to Jerusalem again after being scattered by the Romans? Can you find one example that isnt referring to the return from the Babylonian captivity?Jesus was talking about the generation that sees Jerusalem back in the hands of the Jews, since he had previously prophesied that they would be scattered among the nations.
Ezekiel 38-39 gives the over view of the end times.Where does the Bible say that the Jews would return to Jerusalem again after being scattered by the Romans? Can you find one example that isnt referring to the return from the Babylonian captivity?
The church is the ecclesiastica, the gathering, and he started it before the crucifixion and spent 40 days with it after the ressurection. Jesus knew everything, and the future. He definitely knew about the Church.Jesus knew nothing of the Christian church
He doesn't give a date or time (does He have to?), they did ask when and He provided them with signs (of things that would happen before the end of time)
instead, and the destruction of the temple was one of them. Just like signs are given for the end times and many many other prophecies without specific dates/times.
We do know they were discussing the physical temple of the time.
We know from history/historical writings and archeology when it did occur.
Siege of Jerusalem (70 CE) - Wikipedia

So again, your claim appears to be He totally ignored the apostles question about when the temple would fall, and does NOT answer it at all, in any fashion whatsoever, not even a hint, opting instead to discuss in great detail the passing of events the apostles will never experience in their generation and have absolutely no bearing on their lives in their day.
Am I right?
What in your view did the temples destruction have to do with the signs of the end?
Animything?
He was letting them know of a future event (destruction of the Temple) that would occur before His return. Did the physical destruction of the temple happen before the generation of that time passed? Yes
And that happened 40 years later when the Romans leveled it in A.D. 70.
