The fullness of the Holy Spirit, poured out on all flesh, had not taken place yet, because Christ had not yet been glorified. That is why Israel never got transformed. By the way, transformation mostly involves the willingness of the one being transformed. I think your not understanding very much of my responses.Unfortunately, Israel never got transformed over their will, they never shone like neon lights.
The Bible irrefutably reveals that God's gift is the gift of the Holy Spirit; of Power from on High:God's gifts are lessons, information, not energy.
Requiring belief and loyal response.
"And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But remain in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)
"But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you." (John 14:26)
"And when they were gathered together, He commanded them: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised, which you have heard Me discuss." (Acts 1:4)
"When the day of Pentecost came, the believers were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw tongues like flames of a fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." (Acts 2:1-4)
"No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out My Spirit on all people;
your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Even on My servants, both men and women,
I will pour out My Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and clouds of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness,
and the moon to blood,
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ (Acts 2:16-21)
