CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

if you all could pray for the Archpriest Basil Summer. he was admitted to the ICU with a kidney aneurysm and he is 92 (and he still serves).

I need to ask for prayers again. Found out today they want to do a biopsy on Thursday. Hopefully it's nothing. But prayers much appreciated. Thank you all and God be with you.

One of my student's mom was charged with 2nd degree murder today for selling drugs to a young girl that caused her death. This is going to stir up many emotions in the student body of this small town high school. The girl had been a popular student and was just 19. Please pray for this situation. I dread tomorrow. I have the daughter in my first block.

Hello all,
I am in serious need of prayers. I haven't been to church in a few months...I started having panic attacks again, depression and I feel like I'm getting stong psychic attacks when I drive to work and drive home. Very bad attacks when I get home and when it gets dark. Im in a bad position because I can't receive communication as I was a catechumin and left the RC church. I am feeling horrible with dread all the time. Please please pray for me.
