I got the idea from Harry Reid. Rumors were valid for him and his party.
The posted excuses are getting more and more transparent. I guess as the reality piles up that the vaccines are safe and effective, this is to be expected.

And yet, we still await evidence for the availability of Covimaty. If it's the same as the one they've been experimenting on the public with, then all they'd have to do is slap a new label on it and brag that it's been approved by the FDA.

This has been completely debunked...John F. Kennedy Jr made an attempt and failed....total conspiracy theory.

The new theory is complicated. It relies on the technicalities of government vaccine approval rules — specifically on a tortured interpretation of those rules. That's not surprising: Conspiracy theorists often aim to ply the inexpert masses with plausible-sounding but inaccurate legalisms in order to sow confusion.

Column: Following FDA approval of Pfizer's shot, the anti-vaccine movement cooks up new conspiracy theory

The writer of that article seems to think that if they use the words, "Conspiracy theory" enough times, it's enough to debunk the idea.

Will you honestly got out and get vaccinated and advocate everyone else does too if we can show that this particular name is used in a real product? Is that really the one last thing preventing you from fully accepting the reality of the vaccine?

It's just some other made up malarky they had already intended on using if FDA did approve the vaccine.

For those waiting for actual FDA approval, yes.
As for the experimental versions up to this point (and probably for some time to come), why not ask the people in Israel how effective it's been?

Doesn't it make sense that if a vaccine were approved, it would also be available?

I notice that's not an answer. Instead, I get more moving the goal posts :

Pretty effective, given that a pretty large majority of people in the hospital there, like here, are unvaccinated.

Sounds like a good narrative, but it's not even what NPR is saying anymore. They use plenty of contradictions to bend that narrative into a pretzel.

The poster is playing games trying to make a big deal about the Pfizer vaccine finally being given a [not really] catchy sounding brand name.

One that nobody here can even cite as actually being available and used.

NPR's story is about Israel, not the US. Vaccines are still moderately effective against disease in the US. The numbers from Israel seem to be outliers. Yes, they've been highly vaccinated longer, but the signs of decreased efficiency still aren't as strong here. That's why the FDA is holding off on approving booster shots for the US. They have asked the folks in Israel for more detailed data.

I know it's about Israel, and they're being focused on because they were way ahead of the vaccination game and can serve as a model for whether they (the vaccines) work or not.

Outliers? They are merely ahead of where we are, having a smaller population.

I recognize it as a dodge when it is surrounded by weasel words.

Sounds like a good narrative, but it's not even what NPR is saying anymore.
What your source says seems to disagree with what you say your source says.

The good news is that among Israel's serious infections on Thursday of this week, according to Health Ministry data, the rate of serious cases among unvaccinated people over age 60 (178.7 per 100,000) was nine times more than the rate among fully vaccinated people of the same age category

Is that how the pharmaceutical industry usually works -- instantaneously?
