Here we go again.

In one ear, out the other.
From your link:

Can you order four key events from Earth's history:
  1. Earth is created.
  2. Sun is created.
  3. Angiosperms are created.
  4. Adam & Eve are created.

Earth and Sun were created around the same time, 4.6 billion years ago. Flowering plants put in an appearance about 160 million years ago. We came along about 200,000 years ago.

Sounds like you need to take a course at Biola.

(Or maybe you did?)

If I wanted to do a degree in biology or astrophysics, I would go back to my old (British) university, but I think I am getting a bit long in the tooth for that now.

"And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth." - John 1:14

The Word is Christ, not the Bible. Jesus is the Divine Logos made flesh.

-CryptoLutheran
AHH but the word became flesh, and dwelt among us..
This did not change his Devine nature,Christ the living Word bare witness of the Father.

1 John: 5. 5. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6. This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

The level of literacy in America must be truly appalling. They can manage to read the actual words, but the level of comprehension seems to be zilch. That is what unregulated home schooling does for you.

I here you,it's like having tunnel vision and following a illogical doctrine given by one man hundreds of years ago.
It would be like having one foot in Rome and another caught up in a corrupt theology.
A man could be so stubborn he would murder 55 people who disagreed with him.
I guess it is still today, some strain at a nat and swallow a Camel.

Yes, Christ did bare witness of His Father.

But what I objected to was your statement that the Bible is God. Not that Christ is God.
Christ is God, the divine and eternal Logos and only begotten Son of the Father, God of God. The Bible is ink and paper.

People always ask: "If the Bible is metaphorical, what part is metaphor and what part is literal, and how are we supposed to know the difference?" How about this history is metaphor and the teaching is literal?
As has been said before - when this question comes up it shows a false approach to Scripture. It is usually BOTH and more at the same time.

All Semitic languages have multiple "layers" of meaning that are all simultandously true even if they conflict with each other. There are 4 recognized layers of meaning in the Hebrew Scriptures (OT); and since the NT writers were all well versed in the OT, those layers are present in the NT as well but not as easily recognized since Greek is not a Semitic language.

Those layers are called Peshat, Drash, Remez and Sod. Look them up.
