It is "shocking" how quiet the mainstream media has been in covering presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden's incoherent answers to "softball" questions, former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told "Fox & Friends" Thursday.

The Fox News contributor was responding to an interview Biden did as part of the virtual convention of the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Wednesday when he rebuked CBS correspondent Errol Barnett for asking the former vice president if he had taken a cognitive test. Biden claimed the question was similar to asking the interviewer if he was using cocaine.

Obviously this President's supporters didn't get the memo that attacks on Biden's mental fitness has not only failed to gain traction with the American public, but redirects unwanted scrutiny onto the accusers, not the accused!

The campaigns of most incumbent Presidents would be focused on their legislative record and many accomplishments - the real question is why, after 4 years in the White House, are they forced to resort to personal attacks against Biden?

Given the 12,000 (at the time she was press secretary) lies of President Trump's that Sanders defended and repeated, she is just about the worst judge of character I can imagine.

Well, if the pandemic intensifies, then the 2nd university might back out, possibly, but for now I think I read a debate is scheduled Sept. 29.

It could be a tough choice for some if it seems to them they have to choose between a fuddy-duddy and someone of terrible character that degrades the nation but is sometimes sorta competent (sometimes), or gives that impression. Not an easy choice for some. To me, it's a pretty easy choice though to choose the fuddy duddy that isn't degrading the nation, as the typical decision making in many administrations where the president is old seems to work in an ok manner, where other people figure things out and the president only has more of a general feeling for what he wants. Reagan seems a good example of that.

We have to remember this is a Fox news article quoting Sarah Sanders. Of course a reputable news source would not report this since it's not newsworthy. It's simply an ad hominem attack.

The real truth is that Biden laughed at the question and then answered, "why would I take a cognitive test?"... He then said to the questioner, it's like you being asked if you would be willing to be tested for cocaine, are you a junkie? It was a loaded question and there's nothing wrong with Joe pointing that out.
