sadly enough, now i dont' like VH-1
i have begun to have an utmost disliking for Hot Topic. i used to like it because i could find t-shirts of bands i like, and some of the bands i liked. but now i can't stand the bands for the most part.
the cliched style of emo, hardcore music. turns something beautiful as tattoos into something cliched. so freaking annoying. (i dig how Ben Harper is sleeved in tattoos, but writes acoustic stuff
)
as it was already said, "mall gothic styles"
new country (how dare do we go from the greats oh Johnny Cash to Shania Twain?) (there are some good bands/good so ngs i know, but it just seems that country is pop musicians that wear cowboy boots/hats, or wear tommy hillfilger.)
metal bands that sing about satan, or sacrificing children.
metal bands that are all into the shocking look of wearing black eye liner, upside down crosses, black capes and white face paint.
not a fan of Hillsong
a lot of Pink Floyd songs gets old and terribly redudant (songs are supposed to end in a normal timing) (good band tho)
Tool gets very old and terribly redundant (for the same reason that Pink Floyd gets old.) (good band tho.)
Haven't heard enough of the Grateful Dead but to think, "They are gratefully dead." (God Rests their souls tho, just their music blah. i have to hear a lot more than what i've heard to say anything better.) (very talented band.)
not a big fan of Phish, for the same reason of the Grateful Dead. they can just swim away. (i would need to hear more than what i've heard to say the least.) (very talented band.)
Bob Dylan's voice isn't that great at all to me. it's not even an aquired taste. i'll tell ya what an aquired taste is, SCOTCH
and i can do without his music by all means. (great songwriter tho.)
can't forget how old bands like Coldplay get (i do like Radiohead on a spell tho, and i don't mind coldplay, but bands like Travis, Keane, or other cop off of Coldplay bands? blah.)
