Wow. I'm so thankful you opened my eyes to the utter uselessness of drums. I guess I'll sell my kits and go find a "real" job now before I get tinnitus.

Oh, wait! I won't get tinnitus! I momentarily forgot that I learned years ago how to keep time without beating the crap out of my drums. I also discovered these marvelous things called earplugs... ;)

BTW, I'm trembling with anticipation to find out what type of music you do like, since your post indicates you hate just about every conceivable genre except County/Western and Classical, both of which incorporate drums to some extent... :scratch:
