It seems that her dad is a lighter-skinned black guy and her mom is white. In other stories on her, you can see photos of her with her parents and alone where she looks different than the one you've chosen to highlight in this thread.

I don't think this has anything to do with being 'trans-racial', unless that's some kind of fancy new term for being mixed race. This is not Rachel Dolezal part II.

Happy to help. American racists long defined anyone having any African ancestry at all as being what we now call Black. That became the standard socially and often legally. As a result, many people with predominantly European ancestry are Black -- because that's the way American society has defined blackness. Look up the 'one-drop rule'.

As I said, look up the one-drop rule.
