Not really moot if we agree that government can do anything it wants so long as it provides some excuse, whether appropriate to the alleged crime or not. I do not agree to such a proposition, though.

Which would include over 60 lawsuits that were rejected concerning the notion of election fraud but then the denial goes on ad nauseam.
