You are not reading carefully. I am going to quote my earlier post which you ignored; "My point in mentioning White is to highlight the amount of shame and abuse he reviewed, not to suggest that his contraction of the virus through transfusion was typical. You straw manned my point." Is that clear?
Just because homosexual men are a higher risk factor, it does not follow that they should live like monks. Your point is a red herring--that has no value to whether or not they should live as they please. You are using data to drive your agenda. It's likely that gay men know this information better than you.
You wish to emphasize the shame and abuse Ryan White received in order to deflect from the main point, which is that people - any people - should be smart enough not to engage in highly risky activities and then claim victimhood. MSM, in particular, is a highly risky activity as is well known to all.
Ryan White's case is irrelevant there. He was merely collateral damage. Don't conflate these disparate situations.
It is introducing a straw man to say "people engaging in risky sexual behavior shouldn't have to live like monks".
Um, yeah, they should, unless they want to get this disease.
