A beast is shown thrown in to fire in Daniel:

Daniel 7:
11 Then I kept watching because of the arrogant words the horn was speaking.
As I continued to watch, the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.

12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was removed, but they were granted an extension of life for a season of time.

Which of these 2 beasts is the one thrown into the fire? And the false prophet is only mentioned in Revelation 6:13. Is he considered one of the beasts? Thks for any help on this.

Revelation 13:
1 Then I saw a beast with ten horns and seven heads rising out of the sea.
5 The beast was given a mouth to speak arrogant and blasphemous words, and authority to act for 42 months[Revelation 11:2].
6 And the beast opened its mouth to blaspheme against God and slander His name and His tabernacle—those who dwell in heaven

11 Then I saw another beast rising out of the land.
This beast had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon.
12 And this beast exercised all the authority of the first beast and caused the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed.

Revelation 16:13
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon,
out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet
who had performed signs on his behalf, by which he deceived those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
Both of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur...

The "beast" of Daniel 7 is speaking of the Sea "Beast" of Revelation 13 in its final form, Revelation 17. The False Prophet in Revelation 16 is simply another symbol for the earth "Beast" of Revelation 13, looking at it from another angle. In Revelation 17, there is also the Mother (riding Beast) and harlot daughters, same thing, differing symbols, looking at it from differing angles. Beasts are nations/states. Women are churches, see Revelation 2. The 'False prophet' goes before its 'beast god' (Romans 1), that which it is in the "image" (Revelation 13:14-15) of (Revelation 13:1-2).

The beast out of the sea rises with a mouth. After his deadly wound is healed, he has another mouth -the mouth that speaks great things. That mouth only has 42 months.................
16.
Revelation uses an interesting greek word #4969 concerning that wound and the beast.

4969. sphazo sfad'-zo a primary verb;
to butcher (especially an animal for food or in sacrifice) or (generally) to slaughter, or (specially), to maim (violently):--kill, slay, wound.

It is used in only 1 verse outside of Revelation, 1 John:12, concerning Cain and Able.

Out of 8 verses used in Revelation,
4 of those are in reference to the Lamb of God,
1 sitting on the firery red horse and people slaying one another
1 for those under the altar at the 5th seal
1 concerning one of the heads of the beast
and
1 concerning Babylon/Jerusalem

[I will have to take a closer more in depth look at this when time allows]

Revelation 5:
6 and I saw, and behold! in the midst of the throne and of the four Living-ones, and in the midst of the Elders, a Lamb hath stood as having been slain/slaughtered<4969>, having seven horns and seven eyes....................

9
and they sing a new song, saying, 'Worthy art Thou to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it, because Thou wast slain/slaughtered<4969>,............

12
saying with a great voice, 'Worthy is the Lamb that was slain/slaughtered<4969>
to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!'

Revelation 6:

4 and there went forth another horse -- firery-red, and to him who is sitting upon it, there was given to him to take the peace from the land, and that one another they may slay<4969>,
and there was given to him a great sword.

9
And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those slain<4969>
because of the word of God, and because of the testimony that they held,

Revelation 13:
3 And one out of the heads of it as having been slain<4969> into death

and the blow/wound<4127> of the death of it was healed.

8
And bow before it shall all who are dwelling upon the land, whose names have not been written in the scroll of the life of the Lamb slain/slaughtered<4969 from foundation<2602> of world;

Revelation 18:24
and in Her blood of prophets and of saints was found,

and of all those who have been slain<4969> on the earth.'

Don't you find it interesting that in a concurrent Superpower FIFTH "Divided Kingdom", that the U.N. is judged, and what would appear to be the remaining THREE Superpowers should remain "for a season and a time" until they're converted into the new Millennial Kingdom?

Seems awfully coincidental ...

The beast out of the sea rises with a mouth. ...

... of a LION; the body of a LEOPARD (actually a "Tiger"); and the FEET of a BEAR.

Say it all, or don't say it AT ALL. -- And it helps to identify which Superpower is represented by which physical attribute.
And after this identification, you might THEN and ONLY THEN attempt the identification of the SEVEN HEADS; and the TEN HORNS and TEN DIADEMS; -- for which Chapter 12 only recognizes TEN HORN and SEVEN DIADEMS.

What a conundrum. And WHO could possibly solve ALL these ASPECTS?!?

Thanks,
DaDad

The beast rises with a mouth ...

Once again, PLEASE explain the THREE ATTRIBUTES:
Lion - MOUTH
Leopard (actually a "Tiger") - BODY
Bear - FEET

Neither of these are the little horn mouth that speaks great things.
ALL the "horns" are "little horns". This may not be obvious, but in the sequence of World Empires, there are TWO (presumably) full sized Horns; a GREAT Horn; FOUR (presumably) full sized Horns, and finally ELEVEN "little horns". Regarding the eleven"little horns", Daniel 7:20 cites them as "fellows".

only the mouth that speaks great things is taken down.
There are TWO mouths. There"s the mouth attribute on the beast, and a SECOND which belongs to the False Prophet, -- whose name sums to "666"; who will be the Secretary General of the United Nations; and whom we already know the identity of.

Thanks,
DaDad

... the ten kings are regular size/horns ...

This is NOT what Daniel 8 suggests. In Daniel 8 you should find the Great Horn, then FOUR "regular" Horns, and then a "little horn". And if you understood the prophecy, then you'd know that the cited "little horn" in Daniel 8 is ONE of the ten "little horns" in Daniel 7; and that the dreadful beast "little horn" has his ten "fellows". Thus eleven total.

Perhaps a discussion regarding Daniel 8 would help the understanding.

... Daniel 8 is about a great horn - being the first king of importance to the Greek kingdom ...
Ummmm, no.

You assertion is so flawed with historical contradictions it's amusing. Did you ever happen to read the first several verses in Daniel 12? -- Possibly 4 & 9?

Secondly, perhaps you are familiar with stereotypes? And if so, have you considered that "Greece" is a stereotype? And if so, then what is that associated stereotype -- FROM SCRIPTURE?

...
he will go toward Israel, the south and the east
...
Daniel 8:9 Out of one of them came forth a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land.
If you can't get the simple things correct, how can you be trusted with the difficult?

Perhaps MODERN HISTORY has a better solution to the Prophecies.

Thanks,
DaDad

Daniel only spoke of the "Government Beast(s)" he was never shown the Religious Beast, probably so as not to confuse the Prophecy. Later on John is shown who/what the Harlot is, how she is DESTROYED and then replaced by a False Prophet Beast who BEASTS over all Religious Activities like the last Beast BEASTS over the Government affairs of ALL MEN.

Both are cast into the fire at the same time. In Dan. 7:11 only the Beast is shown as cast into the fire after hes been killed, in Rev. 19:20 it says they are CAST ALIVE into the fire, the bible is NEVER WRONG, so what gives? Well, we never die at death, we just sleep until Judgment as per our Spirits. Thus this Beast is never allowed to sleep like the other Wicked people who are killed, his Judgment happens as soon as he dies thus they are cast STRAIGHT INTO HELL FIRE, whereas all the other wicked are judged at the Second Resurrection. Thus he can be KILLED ( Dan. 7:11) and CAST ALIVE (never allowed to sleep in the grave) onto Hell, thus hes judged instantaneously.

Rev. 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

As per Dan. 7:12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was removed, but they were granted an extension of life for a season of time.

This is only referencing the happening's of the Beasts who had already fallen or lost their Dominion. It is not speaking about what happens unto them after the LAST BEAST is cast into hell, its speaking about what happens unto them after they lose their Dominion. From Babylon until their end, from Persia to Iran, from Greece to modern day Greece who is not now a Major power of course and finally from Rome to Italy, also not a power.

The False Prophet comes out of the earth/land, meaning hes a Jew. God gave us BOTH TYPES in Dan. chapter 11 where we see Antiochus Epiphanes IV and the High Priest he appointed.

Dan. 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person (AE4), to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant (He had Onias III killed).

Onias III was a pious High Priest, his brother Jason (real name GET THIS...Yeshua) bribed Antiochus to get the High Priest position, thus his brother Onias was killed. Jason wanted to Hellenize the Jews/Jerusalem thus the name Jason........HE WAS THE TYPE of the coming False Prophet, just like Antiochus was the TYPE of the coming Beast/Anti-Christ.

So the Lamb with two horns means he's supposed to represent God as per his OFFICE, but he will be of Satan, thus talk like a Dragon. He will be like unto Jason, a False Prophet.
