Well, if you read the history, I can't see how anyone would say God is against their country now. They wouldn't have it if they had not ben shielded by God--if you read their battles for keeping it---there are many really miraculous incidents. They may be lots of things that are not Christian, but they are still a nation that believes in the one God. They have not accepted His Son is all. But I have no doubt God is working with them and many, many have turned to Christ as their Messiah. And there will be more. He has not withdrawn His hand from them. He has a true remnant there now, and He always protects those.
Those are still the lands He gave them regardless of what man has done. He guided those men to give them back those lands. Where they went wrong was in again disobeying the Lord and giving back some of that land to the Palestinians--God said they were never to give away their land. Had they stuck to their guns and not given in to outside pressure, God would have protected them somehow. Now, as with the Philistines, they have to battle all the time. That's pretty close sounding names there also. Unfortunately the Jews have a long history of disobeying God, but there were always a remnant that did, and still do.

The three others died of natural physical causes. Only one was murdered by Capitol Police.

They wanted to be heard, and nobody was listening. Said it before, I'll say it again: those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable. The junta running the Federal government better wake up, because they ignore the People at their peril.

    "Vedio"?

I am well aware that the British do not allow their population to have guns.

You know what? They don't have thirteen colonies, either. ;)

Your rant is acknowledged. Unfortunately, it's also completely irrelevant. The 2nd Amendment does not apply to hunting. It applies to the People keeping the government in line and making sure the government doesn't overstep its authority. And rightly so.

Has there been an autopsy and the bullet evaluated? Hmmm---a bunch of people are trying to come into a government meeting in progress and destroying that building, waving guns, having smoke bombs and who knows what that pipe bomb looking thing was that was safely taken care of, and someone gets shot! Wow---It had to be the guards fault!! Same thing happened to your home you'd have been shooting long before that guy did! There were people in there doing their jobs and people come destroying everything they can, taking stuff, and thank God the people had been evacuated first or who knows what would have happened! By all means, blame those who came to protect at the risk of their own lives.

Good grief! If they were that sick and near death---what the blazes were they doing there destroying property and causing havoc? And that was not murder!! It was self defense in the line of duty and if it had been you instead of that guard, are you saying you certainly would not have protected yourself? Ha!

Bull! They were listened to---in over 50 lawsuits and in several recounts and the only fraud found were Trumpers who used their mothers or dead friends names! They do not want to accept the truth. They want to take what is not theirs by force, they are under the spell of a senile old man. Those idiots better wake up because those people who do not want a dictator---who happen to be several million more than them---are fed up and do not want to take it any more and they ignore them at their own peril!!

Gee, can't tell a spelling error when you see one? I have numbness in my fingers and can not direct them very well, even with spell check, some mistakes are missed. You never make errors though, I guess.

The effect is the same. And I was not ranting. I'm too old, in hospice, in a wheel chair, and do not rant---it is too hard on my heart. I just say it as I see it---to quote your favorite person---"IT IS WHAT IT IS. "

It's a basic principle of American government that misuse of power by the government is more dangerous to the Republic than misbehavior by individuals. I was upset at the violence in Portland, and would certainly support punishing those responsible. But none of them was President of the US.

Actually, they are very unuseful idiots. The rioting largely halted the discussion of police reform. Things may will happen in a low-key way, but the movements started by protesters are pretty much dead. Riots certainly didn't help Democrats get elected, either.

What's the matter, the news report isn't good enough for you because it's too ambiguous? You need more evidence of who was at fault? Maybe you can get Robert Mueller and Adam Schiff to help you out with that. ;)

Outside of some broken windows, I saw no evidence of massive destruction, nor did I see any evidence of any protestor inside the Capitol Building waving a gun. Of course, I realize that the five people left in North America who still watch CNN probably got "slightly" different reports from everyone else, but still. Smoke bombs and pipe bombs were in different buildings or outside, not in the area where the protestors were. Again: if you're depending on CNN, your mileage may vary.

It was the police officer's fault. He squeezed the trigger. And now he has to deal with the fact that he killed an unarmed woman for the rest of his life because he panicked. As for me in my home, I was trained that you always identify your target and his capabilities before you open fire. I imagine that's hard to do from the other side of a small window where you can't get a good view of the individual you're firing at.

Again, what was destroyed outside of a few broken windows? I appreciate the level of hysteria coming from the media, but there seems to be a dearth of information regarding exactly what was destroyed. It certainly doesn't seem to be "everything".

Maybe they would have to actually listen to the People who pays their salaries, instead of running away and hiding from them?

    Exercising their Constitutional rights?

And as for destroying property, see above.

Self defense against what? An unarmed woman on the other side of a small window next to some doors that had been barricaded? Please. You had a cop who got rattled, got confused, and fired at a silhouette on the other side of a wall. Maybe he'd been listening to news reports and had gotten the idea that it was one of those movie Aliens that was also bristling with machine guns and machetes, but it wasn't. It was a small, slender woman who was carrying nothing more lethal than a piece of her mind.

I would have determined what her threat level was. Upon determining that she had no weapon, I would not have opened fire. That's military training. What kind of training the cop had, I can't say. But you don't just start blasting away without knowing what you're shooting at.

LOL! ^_^ Have any evidence to back that up, by chance?

A senile old man? Wait, you mean they were Biden supporters???

Then you have my profoundest apologies. I have arthritis in my fingers, too. I try to proofread what I type before I post, though.

Au contraire; I make errors all the time. But thank you for the compliment. :)

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Again, you have my sympathy. I have back problems, shoulder problems, foot problems; hypertension, diabetes, PTSD, adjustment disorder, and little bits and pieces of foreign material embedded in my body in various places, so I know about disabilities.

Sergeant Shannon, from the VA? He says that all the time. :)

The GOP has been slowly killing itself for the last 12 years. They cannot and have not stood up to the steady march of the left. Words is all they have been able to muster. Words without action are useless.

Actually, I did more research after that and I do know who shot her. Now, who caused the injuries to the police officer that died?

Well, of course that's all you see---just a few broken windows---no big deal---and no waving guns, of course the hillbilly boy networks you watch would not show anything like that, might damage their image. I'm sure y0u didn't see the guy waving the Confederate flag, nor the idiot sitting in Pelosi's desk nor the guy carting off stuff from the room---boys will be boys. Your Trump paid networks will be airing the views you want to know--only under threat of lawsuits did the stop declaring the falsehod of an election steal. Yu just go right ahead and watch your fantasy world.

Oh, wow, you read something other than Trump trash, I'm impressed. I believe those that see conspiracists around every corner won't live long. Living in fear is not living in Christ. Christ carried no gun, but then he was a wooz and a commie.

And you haver my condolences, and won't list my long list of ailments, it's boring to most. May God heal you.

Well, then he might have gotten it from your other favorite person--Trump---or maybe Trump got it from him.

And with that I believe we're done on this thread---I believe I am bored with it all and just hope Trump disappears soon, I grow weary of his name and I've been on too many of these threads. Time for a change of pace---at least change of name! Good bye!

I totally support marching on the capitol. I totally disagree with any of them damaging property or assaulting any one.

If they damaged property or assaulted anyone they should be prosecuted. You see I have a different take than many on the left who defend or ignore the assaults.and damage done by the left in this country. Too often we have heard how the left has failed to act against rioters and looters. We are told we need to understand them. We are regailed with a defense if their actions.

Well, I don't support their actions and I don't support any actions of Trump supporters attacking anyone or damaging any property.

Someday I might defend them depending on what Biden and the Democrats do over the next four years. If they do what I think they are going to do then I may just defend the right if they start violence. Buy today is not that day.

Today is not the day for a revolution. Today is the day for marching and getting involved with the political processes. Today is the day to start taking over the local politics and the state politics. It's not the time for violence. All that does is sink to the level of the leftists in this country who have started it all.

I've yet to hear a single example of the alleged racism or xenophobia. Every one that people have shown me are, in reality, neither. The worst of them can be thought to be bigoted only if you intentionally put the worst possible interpretation on them in order to spin the reporting... in other words, if you lie about it.

Better look at the guy with the 'Camp Auschwitz' hoodie from yesterday. Not only does it feature the SS 'totenkopf', but an English translation of 'Arbeit Macht Frei'. No wiggle room, no joking here. This is who these people are. (via

Sure, but the Left is probably how we got Trump in the first place, as pushback against progressivism.

Though, maybe the non-Trump Republicans will finally have a spine this time around.

Indeed it does, by proving my point! You have absolutely no clue why that guy is wearing that hoodie, and you assume without evidence that he's doing it because he's a racist and not because he wants to illustrate his belief that the election's being stolen by a bunch of would-be totalitarians. That's the same thing that was done to the protesters in Michigan last summer: they were waving Nazi symbols because they were calling Gov. Whitmer a totalitarian thug, but they were accused in the media of doing it because they were Nazi sympathizers. More lies.

And you do this in order to bootstrap it into an accusation that Trump is a racist and xenophobe, without bothering to provide any evidence of anything he did that could reasonably support that slander. You should be embarrassed and ashamed.

Agree, but 12 years is probably light.

One of the problems with the lawful side is that they usually do not allow themselves (or maybe cannot) get their minds down into the depths of realizing that the lawless don't play by the rules. Little to nothing is off the table when there are no rules and when hypocrisy becomes a strategy instead of a barrier.

What will be interesting to see as time moves forward is whether or not enough of the 75m who voted for Trump abandon the course and allow the GOP to remain in this weak condition. I'm thinking no. But it may not matter according to some who think there will be some deeper entrenchment taking place in the next 4 years.

If Trump remains in the game instead of settling down on a ranch - and he does not seem to be the low profile, behind the scenes type - then things will get interesting. He has a very large subscriber base and maybe he'll continue the battle in the forefront unlike most who have gone before him.

Some of the base seems to be saying he has altered the GOP. It seems many are settled on seeing this change fully accomplished and be rid of the same ole party that has actually become not the same ole party, but has melded into more a part of a single party now just acting as if it is two.

IF people continue to pay attention and be involved in all gov't activities down to the lower levels, then the DC business as usual will change. IF not, then those who don't play by the "rules" will be making ever more harsh & stupid rules for the rest to keep. It's been growing into this slowly. But at some point slowly reaches its goal.

This is not new. It is a historical cycle of and swing between liberty to tyranny to liberty to tyranny... This is why the founders said they were handing over something that needed to be kept. All these forms of gov't are experiments. The USC is paper. It governs those who agree to be governed by it. It's the same as the LAW. It needs to be on hearts not on paper.

The ultimate issue is one of standards. Whose standards will we agree to live by? And this is why there really will never be a real peace in the world as it is. People cannot agree on what is right vs. wrong - good vs. bad. When the pendulum is swung too far one way, the battles intensify to push back to a balance we can live with. But the pendulum does not remain at center. Interestingly it does move slowly though, so some get to live in times of relative peace, until they don't. Others are born into the middle of the conflict.

As for the racist & bigotry stuff, there's always fringe on both sides. And there are always those who want to define the standards of what is and is not racism & bigotry & etc... There are also false flags strategies. Do the bulk in either party support the actions of the fringe? Surely not. Not yet anyway.

Interesting times. Nothing new under the sun...

I have to say that this is one of the most profound statements I have ever read, on this forum or any other. The depths of the truth in what you've said here is unplumbable----one could meditate on this for quite some time, and apply it to so many different situations in our culture and our country today. It is mind-expanding.

Well said, sir. Well said.

What President doesn't want to continue to serve his country as President, if he can? And what President hides this fact? Obama certainly didn't. Did the mainstream media play him up as the next Hitler for wanting and talking about a second term as President, as they do with Trump? No.

Which is why, since assuming the POTUS office, Trump has donated his presidential salary to various federal agencies, right? Because a person who doesn't care "didley squat for anyone but himself" would do this, of course. What a selfish donator Trump is, eh?! Giving his salary away. Selfish...

    Trump-O-Meter: | PolitiFact

You're spouting Leftist propaganda, not the truth.

Baloney. Just more propaganda. "Attempted coup" is a ridiculous characterization of the situation and is, in fact, the Left "calling the kettle black." If any "coup" has gone on, it is has been by the Left (aka Democrats, mainstream media and Big Tech - Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, etc.) through the incredible election corruption and manipulation it has perpetrated upon the American public. Now, there's a "coup."

Not surprise. Horror. Biden's in bed with the CCP (recall his son and bagman, Hunter Biden, taking millions from Xi Xiping) which is, I think, ultimately behind much of the political divisiveness and electoral corruption bringing America down into Communism. Through Biden and the nascent Communist Leftists he represents, America continues its journey (though, now more openly and quickly) toward becoming the next Cuba, or Venezuela or, if Xi Xiping's plans come true, communist China.

Have the measures taken so far, the oppressive, authoritarian lockdowns, halted the spread of the virus? No. The only thing that has been done that may have a serious countering effect upon the spread of the virus is the unprecedented rapid development of vaccines accomplished under Trump's administration.

The lockdowns are causing at least as much harm as good. In fact, I think, much more. Small businesses are collapsing, savings are disappearing while debts mount, jobs are lost, prolonged isolation is provoking depression, loneliness, addictions and suicide, and the national economy is mounding up astronomical debt that heralds an incredible economic collapse.

The tail is wagging the dog. It is a relatively small minority of people who are seriously vulnerable to the virus. And they are so because they have, as they've aged, accumulated co-morbidities that make them very susceptible to the virus. Many who are infected have no symptoms at all. And those who get discernibly ill with the virus have a 97-99% recovery rate. But, for the sake of a small vulnerable minority, the entire nation is being made prisoner, devastated economically and socially in the process in ways that will bear terrible fruit in the next few years. Government over-reach is being normalized and the erosion of personal rights and freedoms yielded without protest.

How delighted Xi Xiping must be.

You might want to look up the phrase "useful idiot."
