I am a pretty dedicated lurker. I've been here for at least a dozen years. Since joining TAW, I met my wife, moved across the country, got married, was ordained a deacon, had three kids, and most recently ordained a priest. I don't post much because I get sucked into an argument too easily for my own good. I'm definitely not a historian, don't have great insights into theology, and haven't been a priest long enough to have developed amazing pastoral skills. So I mostly just read what people write. I pray for people that ask for prayer. I laugh at some of the funnies. My eyes glaze over when someone asks a very complicated question about history or obscure theological points, and then I go back to painting, changing poopy diapers, attempting to homeschool my boys, cooking meals for family and friends, and then starting the day again. Sometimes I miss interacting on here more, but there is something to be said for living life off the computer.

I think you're the first person to get that right. Some thought I was a "new troll" I think others thought it was the candy bar that I was referring to, others probably just figured I was a nut...Cool
You are named after this? Which is popular with the Slovakian side of the family. Although I like the poppy seed variety better even though they can screw up drug tests...

As a baker and someone who very much enjoys nutrolls (not the poppyseed kind), I never thought of any other meaning!I think you're the first person to get that right. Batman is not the greatest character. Dumb opinion.
clearly its Christopher Summers of the Starjammers - Cyclops' father.
I agree with you about Marvel, but that Batman. When I was a kid I got a Batman. Maybe it was that one issue, but it was terrible. The artwork was dark and shadowy, the whole story was his inner dialogue about being conflicted and all that stuff. Downright depressing compared to my Hulk and Spiderman. Liked the TV show of course. That was goofy fun.maybe because this will cause a stir, but I am Marvel over DC, with the exception of Batman because he is, in my opinion, the greatest comic book character ever, and the Joker is the greatest villain in fiction.
and my favorite Beatle and Seinfeld character are both named George.

One time in the '80's, before the first Batman movie, I was at a restaurant wearing a Batman t-shirt. The waiter says "you know they're making a Batman movie?" I said "No I didn't know. Is it going to be serious Batman or funny Batman?" He said serious, so I've never seen any Batman movie, lol. That's just me.
Is it just me, or does everything on this forum eventually turn into a discussion of comic books and/or Star Wars if you let it go on for long enough?
