I believe evolution is a fact.

Whereas I know it to be a lie.
I also have studied geology at college level with field work experience
Excellent. Then you know what is. The doesn't explain origination, since the origination of matter; including the earth; is a scientific impossibility.

What study time have you put into the Word of God? I'm sure they have some great classes in theology, also.
and I breed carnivorous lants for a hobby so I know quite a lot aboutselective breeding.

So you know that selective breeding is a conservative process whereby some characteristics are extinguished and others are enhancd. You have also learned, of course, that selective breeding doesn't invent new genetic information and encode it into the reproductive system.
But 'belief' in a fact will not exclude me from eternal life.
No, but trusting fully in the Lord your God will improve your relationship with Him, and will make your life not only richer but also happier.
The bible is inspired by God, not dictated.
Portions were directly dictated. Some portions are collections of letters written to the early churches.
The story of Noah is coming from the epic of Gilgamesh,
Ah, that old lie again. Why DIDN'T someone tell Jesus before He embarrassed Himself?
I quote from Wikipedia:
You use your Bible, I'll use mine.

Who said anything about voting? Who is your God? The bible (subject to your interpretation of it) or God himself?
In that I have repeatedly challenged evolution believers and theistic evolutionists to present passages from the Bible to buoy their claimes. Inasamuch as none of them seem to be able to, it's obvious that their interpretation cannot be supported through Scripture. My position is supported by Jesus Himself.

Jesus, by the way, stated that Johah actually spent three days in the belly of a whale (or great fish). Was He telling the truth, or do you believe He was simply re-telling an old story He heard somewhere?
You are breaking the 9th commandment.

False accusation.
Careful with your insults.

I haven't insulted anyone.
God gave me a mind to think with and not deny reality.
Where does reality lie; with the eternal God or with the planet He created as a six day project?
Would God deceive us in the fossil record?

Fossils are evidence of a great flood that buried creatures alive and encased them in sentiment. They are fould all over the world, including whale fossils in the dessert. Don't blame God because you misread the evidence.
No. Your view is the one that needs to change to embrace reality.
I'll embrace the word of God and let Him worry about your concept of reality.
The 10 commandments on the stone tablets reads nothing about evolution, or any any other branch of science.
Exodus 20
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Your statement has been proved false. It took me about six seconds to do so.
Did God literally place the people of Israel on the wings of eagles to escape from Egypt?
I already answered that question.
Exodus 19 specifically reads:
3 Then Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain and said, “This is what you are to say to the descendants of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: 4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, 6 you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”

The phrase "on eagles wings" is a metaphore which came from the mouth of God Himself as He told Moses what to say to inspire the people to follow His laws. It means they were safely spirited away with great speed from those who pursued them.

The Bible can be a hard document to understand. I would recommend that you find a church with a good pastor who can help you understand it better rather than attacking and undermining its message. You do not do service to the Lord when you tell His people that His word is false. It's better to be thought foolish by the totality of man than to be thought unfaithful by the Lord. Personally, if the Bible stated that in the last days the ocean would turn to goat cheese I would accept that as fact, because it came from the inspired word of God Himself.

Only if you wanted to show your ignorance regarding chromosomes.

Just because math says 46+46=92 it has nothing to do with chromosomes. You can't apply one field (math) to another that does not follow its laws (biology) so your math is irrelevant.

Congratulations, you have just proven that the bible was not written by God, but a human with limited knowledge.

And why wouldn't I? It says Global flood. You claim that God is all knowing and he wrote it, so why shouldn't I assume he was NOT limited by the knowledge at that time and search for an actual global flood?

I believe, I was giving a understanding and respect for the laws and reasoning of science; that you are unable to give to the scriptures. It was not a math lesson.

Thank you for showing your willful ignorance to an adult conversation.

How, by quoting Sritpture?
Do you even know the meaning of Luke 6:37?
We are called to spread the truth of the word of God, not to repeat the lies of evolution.

Sorry, I am using a iPhone. So I can't make out your gender. If you are a man I am sorry, for referring to you as a her. For some reason I thought you were a women.

You, can say "Pinocchio's nose grew when he lied". You do not have to substantiate your belief that Pinnochio is a real, for it to be true.

Just saying it doesn't make it true, either. If you are going to make claims then please be prepared to provide evidence that the claims are true. This is just common decency. Expecting other people to refute your empty assertions is not how it works.

Jesus also spoke in parables. You will not find the word 'evolution' in the bible, but we both know God created everything. Scince is finding out 'how'.
False accusation.
You were bearing falso witness.
I haven't insulted anyone.
You were implying I was a liar by my 'belief' in evolution.
Where does reality lie; with the eternal God or with the planet He created as a six day project?
With the 4.55 billion year old earth he created.
Fossils are evidence of a great flood that buried creatures alive and encased them in sentiment. They are fould all over the world, including whale fossils in the dessert. Don't blame God because you misread the evidence.
No it is not. You will find fossils in sedimentary rocks that saw no water at all. You will also find that fossils are not consistantly found in all rock strata. You will never find Ammonites in Tertiary rocks nor will you find fissilised marine creatures in tillite. You need to know something about geology before you make far-fetched assertions!
I'll embrace the word of God and let Him worry about your concept of reality.

Don't worry, plenty of my own church folk are creatioists and we all know where we stand on the issue. The difference between you and them is the fact we do not condemn one another and we show 'love for one another, because by this, people will know you are my disciples'. Some people have been convinced by my arguments for theistic evolution, because I have been able to reason with them from evidence on the ground and science. All it means the third option is left with the reality of God and the discovery of how 'Goddidit' for real.
For myself, I am not attacking his message, how many people have you led to Christ with your banter?

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; (John 8:31 KJV)

Jesus said so. If a so called Christian does not abide in the Word of God, there is good reason to question a brother.

Correction: Someone claiming to be John claimed that some guy called Jesus said that stuff. That's all we know. Just be honest and admit that you believe it just because you want to believe it, and for no other reason, and you will be left in peace with your beliefs.

Please use the "quote" feature properly, to make it easy to see what you are responding to. Nobody gives enough of one to try and find it without a link, especially as you have a proven track record of posting drivel.

Scared are we?

He seems petrified to me.

Tool, I think you have to accept something that is important. Some people don't view the bible as a credible source of history and they have good reasons to have this opinion and they have been stated on these boards countless times. You are certainly free to accept the bible as truth, that is your choice.

Brilliant! A pile of unsupported assertions and untruths, 2 (not 5) easily answered questions, the usual claim that ToE also encompasses abiogenesis and Big Bang rounded off with a bunch of ad hominem attacks.

Creationist argument at it's very best

Continuing with your campaign to trample Christianity into the mud, I see.

Well that was one hot steaming pile of poo.

6. Why do we keep bothering to reply to AV?

This is the question I would really like an answer to as well.

And here are the cream of the crop first responses put forth by top internet evolutionists. No meat. Not even milk. Nothing but pure drivel. NO wonder they want to ram ToE down the throats of children who have not yet been taught to think for themselves. They have to start the indoctrination early!

That's awesome. I was under the impression that viruses need hosts to survive. If that's not the case, feel free to correct me. If that is the case, then your little "definition" falls flat on it's face because already fully developed hosts need to be present before any viruses can do anything.

Wow, did you not think that video was a steaming pile?
It did point out the major hurdles that evolutionists don't want to touch with a ten foot pole.

"God is dead", did Mickey Mouse say that or was it Astro Boy?

"The God Delusion", did a spice girl write that?

E=MC2 was thought up by Strawberry Shortcake, I think.

Maybe you know the truth based on your beliefs.
