  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Jesus said "he who is faithful in what is least, is faithful in much" - Evolution? Or in need of it?

Hi there, So I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, but the words of Jesus on incremental changes, is actually pretty clear: if you have enough of the initial requirement, the fuller difference can be expected. Jesus describes it, in terms of faith, but you could easily translate it...

    Scared and struggling

Hi I’ve been a Christian for about 7 months Most of the time I spent worrying weither I had committed the unpardonable sin after I read about the unpardonable sin verse. Because of my ocd I had blasphemous thoughts for months. I still get triggered when I read about the Holy Spirit... I...

    For His Glory and Praise

Zechariah’s wife, Elizabeth, had just given birth to their son eight days prior to this, but this was the day of their son’s circumcision, which was also the day he was to be named. Thus, Zechariah, as instructed by God, named the baby boy John. Then, Zechariah, filled with the Holy Spirit...

What do variations of the same design, result in - in Evolutionary terms?

Hi there, The concept here is very simple: if I have variations of design, in the one species (not variations of species), what does the culmination of those variations, result in? In Evolutionary terms? A: the variations do not result in Evolution - leaving "Evolution" imaginary? B: the...

Helpful Information: The Good Message Of Christ Jesus

The Good Message The good message of the Lord Jesus, is one of a living hope in having faith on the death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for the sin of all mankind. The good message of salvation through faith in the hope of resurrection from the dead, as Jesus had been...

We are held, to a higher account (as Christians)

Hi there, So just a word of faith, from someone who left the faith and tried to be his own man (a famous philosopher). I was never even once nurtured by the world, in my falling away from the faith - not even once shown, faith in return. Coming back from the world was hard, but I did learn this...

    The Thrill of Jesus

Caught in the simplest terms imaginable, having received Jesus and determined to remain focused on the prize of His life and fellowship in the Spirit, my goodness, there is a world of triumph for everything we set out to do! But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and...

    Null/please delete

Was the faith of the saints expressed throughout the whole world? “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention...

Educational: Helpful - Spirit = Freedom

Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. That goes for any believer, enjoy your freedom while you can on this earth. It’s the only freedom we will ever have with the Lord. More powerful than drugs, sex, relationship (even though we love others), rock n roll, being homeless. Always...

A significant insight, into the change God wants - in the World

Hi there, So this will seem very basic, like "of course" that's the way it is: who would have thought it would be any different - but for years I have laboured under the impression, that something far more complicated was at work. What am I talking about? I'm talking about just how much change...

Did Noah, let a pair of serpents, on the Ark?

Hi, I have to admit, it is fairly difficult coming up with your own theological controversy - I have only really managed two coins of thought that relate to the Bible (besides Eschatology) and this is the second. The point is: God really leaves it up to you, to do the interpreting (if you don't...

    Changing your mind about prophecy

Hi all. I recently watched a video about a person who had changed his mind regarding his stance on pre-trib rapture. The video made some interesting points about just how difficult it is to change the way we perceive important, spiritual truths, especially when that change requires us to face...

    The will of God

“We [earnestly] urge you, believers, admonish those who are out of line [the undisciplined, the unruly, the disorderly], encourage the timid [who lack spiritual courage], help the [spiritually] weak, be very patient with everyone [always controlling your temper]. See that no one repays another...

    Romans 1:16

Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. If I consistently show you, that I am adapting, but the adaptations are not from a monkey, then...?

Hi there, So yes, I feel like any place would be as good as any other to proclaim, that I have made my "peace" with 'Evolution'. I understand that without Evolution, my definition as a human, would not be as "pronounced" and I understand that what I think is "pronounced" may not last to the...

    Sirius XM, Anti Jesus??

Good afternoon Fellow Christians, I'm writing this today because I'm disturbed at what I found out about Sirius XM radio. I tried to sign up for their service today and was met with a message that said "the word Jesus is not allowed in your password." I then proceeded to put satan in my...

    When Standard Anchor is Useless

For a Christian, obsessions and troubles can remove your focus and hold upon the Anchor of life, our Savior and Lord of us and the universe. Maybe similar to the disciples' anxious and terrified focus upon the raging storm while Jesus slept peaceably in the boat. No matter what grabs our focus...

    Not of this World

Summary John 17:1-13 Jesus Christ, God the Son, was praying to God the Father. This is while Jesus was still on the earth. But he was getting ready to go to his death on a cross for the salvation of human souls in order that he might deliver us from our slavery to sin and grant us eternal life...
