Where did you miss the part where I said, "we are not talking about Christians"

We do not have the right to tell non Christians that they must live by Christian standards"

I am talking about a "Christian" standing up for the rights of a homosexual over the rights of the innocent child who's way of thinking will most CERTAINLY be impaired from growing up in a twisted relationship. You are trying to separate the world view from Christianity and I'm telling you that the world view is IRRELEVANT. God's standard is what counts and, as I stated in an earlier post, God's standards do not only apply to those who would accept them. They apply to EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING and just because someone chooses to ignore God, they are not off the hook.

Whoever said it's better for a child to grow up in a Homosexual home rather than an abusive, neglectful one is wrong. Neither is OK and we should fight to keep children out of both. A child's PHYSICAL well-being is only PART of a truly healthy child. You act like a child will be just fine as long as his or her physical needs are taken care of. It goes MUCH deeper than that...

You talk about standing up for everyone's rights across the board without bias. You think it's OK for a person to choose if he or she dies or not. I guess you're OK with abortion too? Where does God and HIS will come into the picture...or does it? Is the World System and the rights it invokes more important than God? Your statements make it seem so...

'bye!

If you mean by impaired that s/he will have more egalitarian attitudes, that would be correct. If you mean by impaired some social or intellectual difficulties, then you are entirely unsupported except for your twisted views.

So...I'm assuming you refrain from the consumption of swineflesh and do not wear clothes with two different clothes. That is the Law too.

Considering that the American Pediatrics Association has recently said that there are absolutely no differences between children raised with heterosexual parents and those by homosexual parents (echoing an older statement by the American Psychological Association), how do you justify your position beyond your RELIGIOUS beliefs. Bear in mind that the Constitution specifically prohibits the government from dictating laws based solely on religion.

How can you SAY that?????????? SEXUAL PREFERENCE has EVERYTHING to do with bringing up a child in the way he (or she) should go! A homosexual bringing up a child is, by the very way he or she lives their life, teaching the child that homosexuality is just an "alternate lifestyle". BULL-ony!

By the way, will you also stand up for the rights of THIS person:

I am confused. Why would a Christian adopt the ways of this world? Surely, that should be the most upsetting form of adoption. But I imagine it gets you a lot of friends.

:) LOVE
I have plenty of friends who respect my opinions as a person...but thank you for your concern Catchup!...

I place very little value in the mere opinions of men. Any attempt to justify our positions beyond Gods own word is foolishness. God's Word is perfect because it came from a perfect God. God is God and men are not. What God says is right is right and what he says is wrong is just that - wrong. People would be so much happier if they would stop trying to be thier own gods.

1 Corinthians 6:9-13

9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 12"Everything is permissible for me"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"--but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"--but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Who made these idiots the final authority, I mean the American Pediatrics Association?? My friend, I don't know if you have noticed it or not, but these are the days when the blind lead the blind. Now you are going to start getting your morals from doctors?? What Bible have you been reading??

I agree with Josiah here. He is correct, and I also don't understand how he has no blessings. I also don't understand how these blessings work. But I do know that I will probably be losing some of mine. You can have all mine Josiah, now all we have to do is figure out how to transfer them, he he.
