Where did you miss the part where I said, "we are not talking about Christians"
We do not have the right to tell non Christians that they must live by Christian standards"
I am talking about a "Christian" standing up for the rights of a homosexual over the rights of the innocent child who's way of thinking will most CERTAINLY be impaired from growing up in a twisted relationship.
You are trying to separate the world view from Christianity and I'm telling you that the world view is IRRELEVANT. God's standard is what counts and, as I stated in an earlier post, God's standards do not only apply to those who would accept them. They apply to EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING and just because someone chooses to ignore God, they are not off the hook.
What can I say...Josiah...it is my opinion!Originally posted by Josiah
How can you SAY that?????????? SEXUAL PREFERENCE has EVERYTHING to do with bringing up a child in the way he (or she) should go! A homosexual bringing up a child is, by the very way he or she lives their life, teaching the child that homosexuality is just an "alternate lifestyle". BULL-ony!

any Christian should much rather a child be raised by a loving homosexual couple than be abused and neglected.
Catchup, nobody here would ask you to apologize for your beliefs...well maybe just the close minded people....Originally posted by Catchup
I am against gay adoption. Further...I do not feel that I need to apologize for that statement.

I have plenty of friends who respect my opinions as a person...but thank you for your concern Catchup!...Originally posted by Catchup
I am confused. Why would a Christian adopt the ways of this world? Surely, that should be the most upsetting form of adoption. But I imagine it gets you a lot of friends.

Considering that the American Pediatrics Association has recently said that there are absolutely no differences between children raised with heterosexual parents and those by homosexual parents (echoing an older statement by the American Psychological Association), how do you justify your position beyond your RELIGIOUS beliefs. Bear in mind that the Constitution specifically prohibits the government from dictating laws based solely on religion.
