This was already addressed---it is in post #58.
You are talking in circles dude.
Here is my question -
Please tells us how the SDA teaches it’s members to rest on the Sabbath.
Here is your answer from post 58 -
We follow what the commandment reads:
Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Isa 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
Isa 58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
It is a day to spend with God, not a day to do secular things--but it's not a day of mourning! It's supposed to be a delight. Doing good for others. Resting from all labors and not thinking about our problems. Fellowshipping with others--but not secular parties. We don't usually cook, but we do heat stuff up. And do try to not make it a day of a list of "don'ts". Spend time in prayer and reading scripture and spiritually uplifting material. Chill out---go for a leisurely walk--just not running a marathon!
This does not by any stretch of the imagination answer the question.
We know what the law of Moses says.
We know that the law of Moses requires us to put to death those who violate the Sabbath.
I’m not asking about the law of Moses.
I’m asking how you, yourself teach people to observe the Sabbath today, under the New Covenant.
What constitutes a sin, concerning the Sabbath?
What violates the law of the Sabbath today?
Here are some specific questions that require specific answers.
Can we cook on the Sabbath?
When does the Sabbath begin and end?
Can we travel on the Sabbath?
If so har far?
