Do you think the video wasnt true? People say they lie so dont watch it and it doesnt matter.

That angels cant have regret like people do?
Put no stock in videos. Read the Bible and pray to Jesus for your answers.

That is not something I can answer. Some say our spirits are what makes us in his image, but I think that is too simple. If essence can be used as a way of describing it, I think our essence is the same as his, but this, too, says very little.

What do you think of these articles? Do you agree with the speculation? Not that its important but I find its interesting.

I don't think he is far off, except he is blending heaven and earth together. We will only stay in Heaven until the Lord returns. When He returns we return to the Earth with him in our glorified bodies. As I understand the Bible, we will reign on this Earth for a thousand years. It will be the same Earth we know now, so the seasons will continue. Then after the White Throne judgment at the end of that thousand years when all who rejected Christ are thrown into the Lake of Fire with Satan, his demons and Hell, a new Heaven and Earth will be ushered in. What that will be like I do not know. Eye has not seen nor ear heard the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. The new Heaven and Earth will greater than the old and more glorious. Will it have seasons, I don't see why not. Many think there will not be a sun since the light that comes from Jesus and his throne will be brighter than the sun. But the scriptures do not say there will be no sun, only that the light of Jesus will light up the New Jerusalem.

Do you think deserts are from the fall? The canopy theory suggests it might be.

There is an incredible symbiotic ecosystem in deserts. If it is, then God makes all things work for good. However, it is noteworthy that North Africa and the Middle East, including Asia Minor were lush with vegetation up until around 600 AD. That is when Muhammad began his religion of Islam. Since the advent of Islam, all that land has become waste land desert. This is the result of human mismanagement, which is part of the fall, but not God.

So were they a different type of deserts? Are you saying they only came about recently?

Yes, I am saying they came about recently, and no, they were not deserts prior to Islam.

As for ecology I am referring to deserts of today. The US Army Field Manual for Survival lists 5 different kinds of deserts:
  1. Mountainous (high altitude).
  2. Rocky plateau.
  3. Sand dunes.
  4. Salt marshes. and
  5. Broken, dissected terrain ("gebel" or "wadi").

All didn't exist before Islam?

What other types of biomes do you think are from the Fall?

I am not saying there were no deserts before Islam. I am saying the 10/40 window became a desert because of Islam.

I believe that heaven is more of having a new body and life on the "New World" at Jesus' second coming. And hell is being burned with the old world and fading away.

Is it okay if I don't back this up with evidence at the moment? I'm still learning my beliefs but once I've studied more, I will get back to it. Promise. I just thought it important to tell my view.

Are all of those desert types from the Fall? Are they all manmade and not part of God's plan for nature? In Bible Study they said everything in the beginning was a rainforest.

We don't know. There is evidence of rain forest in Siberia and other places not expected. Man's influence has definitely affected nature.

Nothing is impossible with God.
He is not bound by the laws of physics, since He created them. The physical laws we know here on Earth may not have any bearing at all on Heaven. I would be surprised if they did apply to Heaven.

I read the article. I think there might be snow in Heaven- but a different kind. The kind that won't be so cold to cause injury or harm. I don't know what God has prepared for us, but I would like to think of people and children who never got to experience seeing snow and playing in snow getting to do so in Heaven.

The earth before the fall had no rain. The bible tells us that. I imagine that's how it will be on the New Earth recreated.
