I personally don't see anything bad about it, but my knowledge of specific things like that in the Christian religion is pretty minimal.

I know some people are against things like that, but is it OK for a Christian to do it? I'm dyeing it from dirty blonde (my natural color) to black because I have it dyed temporarily black right now and I prefer it a lot to my original color.

Does it really matter if we change our hair color, or is that bad, like "lying" or denying the way God made you? Seems insignificant to me, but I can't trust my own opinion apparently.

If you want to be strict Christian, then you should study your Bible a lot more. Some people will condemn it as worldly and vain, but they will condemn most things (well, most things are worldly and vain).

Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

That said, I've dyed my hair since I was 15.

If wether or not to dye your hair is even among the signifigant ethical struggles you are dealing with, you are either on the right path (have few ethical problems to deal with), or you have missed what is most important (are overlooking more important issues).

Natural hair is always best I think.

That's what I said until I hennaed my hair the first time. Went from a natural (dishwater dull) blonde with grays coming in on top of my head to gorgeous auburn red that turns flame-colored in the sun. Won't go back to natural, or to the chemical colors I was using at first (waste of $$ because they fade, whereas henna is permanent), for anything.

I haven't had any problems with fading. One benefit of the dye for me was that it coarsened my hair a bit - naturally, my hair is baby fine, limp and flyaway, now it is fuller.

Plus I like the color - it suits me. My sister is a natural blonde where I went from natural mouse to reddish blonde. It used to annoy her to no end when we were together and people would ask her and not me if she colored her hair, heh, heh, heh.
