I think one big key to body breakdown is stress as it encourages behavior that can be detrimental to your body in the long run.
I've always thought I had less stress than most. Certainly being single helps with that :tonguewink:

Being single can add to stress especially when you live alone and have nobody immediately around to help you and have to resort to tech to communicate instead of face to face interaction.

My neck has always been bad / weak. Other than that I consider my body healthy. I'm only 30 tho.
My wrists were weak in my 20s till I got a job that was so hard on them that they were very sore for several weeks and I owned a car with manual transmission and and no power steering and just driving to work was grimacing. After a month or so my wrists are no longer weak. They aren't super strong but stronger I think than average. Consider looking into some exercises to strengthen your neck muscles as it will help protect you from injury in the future.

Your question makes no sense.

My mental health professional told me when she wants me to take my pills and she always wants me to take one in the evening at 7 PM. Its not my choice, its hers. I have to do what she says, she is the doctor after all.

If you can take a pill to make it evening then taking the pill in the morning..... makes it in the evening doesn't it?

I've been online since about 1995 or so and a lot of people on the internet back then were acting almost like they were drunk or on drugs due to being anonymous. I don't think that the average person was online as it wasn't that popular at the time but rather I believe the people that were not socially "normal" in their functioning. People who had problems some of which were serious were on back then and nothing has changed sadly as instead of people getting online with problems people are now getting online and it is causing them to have problems by the nature of the internet and the people on it with........ problems causing problems.

Well, I am only 33, but I have pretty much been on the internet most of my life and the internet just never ceases to amaze me and sometimes all I can think is wow.

I didn't have the internet until I was about your age I joined a large BBS system prior to the internet in order to download patches to games and software for my first PC in 1991. I'm still using the original keyboard that I bought for it one my third computer not including all the upgrades I went through. I remember when everyone was using instant message clients and people were really thrilled when they finally got to voice message people because they were tired of texting. Spring forward till today and people don't want to voice message they want to text everyone......funny eh?

I didn't get a computer until 2002 when I went back to school. I didn't have any typing skills, either. I was freaking out. I asked a friend if she would type my papers for a very small fee. She said I needed to figure it out, and she was right. Back then, it was mostly chat rooms and such. I even tried dating, which was a disaster. People definitely weren't any more partial to the truth back then. Lol

It would be interested to see what it was like when you were on in 1995.

I can describe it. I took typing in junior high school so I can touch type about 50wpm or so at times. I had a Commodore 128 back in 1985 and it had a 300 baud modem that I went to free BBS online and took almost an hour to download a 500k picture. In 1995 The fastest available modems were I think 56k baud.
Forums didn't exist and my 56k modem was about I think 5.5K bytes/sec download speed. Graphics were rather plain and a lot of stuff used ASCII text instead of jpg etc picture files. No javascript and my internet browser was Netscape 4.0 which just came out vs Microsoft internet explorer which was version 3.0 and far inferior. There was HTML based chat and for a time I got into (trying to remember the name) but it was like the CB radio using nothing but ascii graphics to stream chat oh.... IRC or Internet Relay Chat was the thing and a very few HTML streaming chat rooms. There was no social media stuff... Yahoo was the biggest search engine with Microsoft just getting into the game and Hotmail was the biggest with internet service providers (big ones) having services. There was then an onslaught of instant message clients from AOL instant messager to ICQ which was the biggest for its day and Powow was the most interesting as it has something none else did.... it did text to speech and did it pretty darn good for the time as it took a natural sounding voice and then it understood how to say a lot of words although somewhat robotic at that. There was a feature on ICQ where you could have someone random connect with you and message them and sort of like chat rooms too but I didn't do much of that. The biggest annoyance was flashing banner ads and there was even a free internet provider that you had to see ads. Ads back then were big money makers unlike today. A lot of free web page sites out there that were paid for by ads run on them you could fix them up etc. Computer hardware back then was primitive somewhat as most it took an expensive video card to play a video that was like 320x200 and unless you were on a university internet you couldn't get it to play without skipping and freezing. CD rom drives were very expensive to start with SCSI the best and IDE was not mature back then you had problems at times running more than 1 hard drive on a computer with it so many had to buy a card just for the CDrom drive as you couldn't slave it to the hard drive sometimes. They finally came out with a fancy dual 56k modem but too expensive. I struggled with dial up till about 2005 or so when I moved and had a roommate and we shared a 768k internet account. I dropped it awhile back for a 50Mb/s account and my old computer can't do but about 12mb/s on the 2.5G wireless connection. I'm not going to pay for a 5G adapter as this computer is too old and I don't use it heavily these days any heavy streaming I do mostly on my TV set which has 5K and does about 60mb/s I think but it tests at about 25 or so.

I do miss html streaming as it would show new posts automatically like the chat box does having to constantly refresh a page is time consuming but I guess you don't miss anything scrolling by if you do it that way.

That's wild. Were the pictures good?

I remember hearing Yahoo commercials on the radio and having no idea what they were selling.

That's fascinating. I bet that seemed so advanced, and it was. Lol.

For the time.... yes. It was a GIF so that is one reason for the size as back then JPG were not invented.
I remember hearing Yahoo commercials on the radio and having no idea what they were selling.
Yahoo was the Google of the 90s and 2k years. They also got into email and supported netscape also
Netscape was king for years till IE went to version 5 and Microsoft played games with their windows 98 operting system embedding it into the system and making it the default browser. They got in trouble with the feds and other countries for unfair practice many times but the damage was done and netscape (made by mozilla) is almost done in. I'm still using firefox but my computer is so old I'm not going to bother trying to install windows 10/11 on it as long as I can get XP to keep working a little longer.
That's fascinating. I bet that seemed so advanced, and it was. Lol.
Powwow was a blast but like most online social/chat places most people get bored of things, find a mate and get married and vanish for good off the net. I once had about 2 dozen or so people on my ICQ list and at times couldn't keep up with it but over time it was down to just one and he was a second cousin and I quit starting it up.
CF has become similar over the last 15 years if you look at my followers I used to have (in my thread) an average of 6 people a day posting sometimes 8-10 people and we had fellowship threads for blessings all the time with dozens of folks frequenting some of them.

I recall one thread long ago where they gave 100 blessings/post in the thread as most threads did 5 or 10 per post and blessing were very sought after. Anyway they had a deluge of people posting as fast as they could and 1003 posts (1000 posts was a thread back then) was through in less than 30 minutes I believe...... nuts.
