mRNA has not been tested on people with exceptional immune systems.
If you’re concerned about the mRNA vaccine I think the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a traditional vaccine. And it’s also only a one shot vaccine. Based on what I’ve read the Moderna mRNA vaccine is actually superior based on the lowest number of hospitalizations. Given the millions of people who’ve had it very few people had side effects.

The bigger issue I think it’s the fact that no one believes what they read in the media anymore which makes people doubt the efficacy of these viruses. The media can claim all They want but as long as they’ve had a history of distorting facts people are going to question what they read.

Despite ones concern about the safety or their rights being violated regarding getting the vaccine, isn't getting the vaccine more Christ centric. Jesus gave up his rights for us. Shouldn't we give up our rights and our freedom for the benefit of others? It seems we would be in a bit of trouble if Christ was overly concerned about his own safety and rights. (I'm not interested in the "this is not a serious disease" or "the vaccine is more dangerous than the disease itself" as these are topics for another debate.

Whatever we choose regarding the vaccine is just as "Christ centric" IMO. Christ didn't come here to be a worldly leader. Questions like this and others like the one around the climate is important, but not something that Christians need to take a specific stance on. Spreading rumours on the other hand, one way or another is less Christ centered (not saying you do that), so that should be avoided .

J&J is a B-list vaccine (for our immune issues).
More about that at Covid Vaccine Poll...?
I was listening to a doctor on the radio and the Johnson and Johnson vaccine was the one she recommended based on the fact it’s a traditional vaccine without the mRNA technology and it’s also one shot vaccine so in her opinion it was superior. What is the reason you think it’s a B vaccine?

They appear to be in alphabetical order. CA is at 80% in ICU capacity.

Looking at maps that code states by vaccination amount and cases, generally better vaccination is fewer cases. CA seems a bit worse off than you’d expect, though new cases per day isn’t far from the NE. Florida has been much worse than you’d expect given its vaccination, though I’ve wondered if that’s because it tends to be full of vacationers, who probably aren’t as careful, old people, and Gov Santis.

Yeah the higher the vaccination rate obviously the lower your hospitalization or it’s going to be. That’s part of my point. What brings numbers down is the vaccination rate not the stupid mask policy. People who have been vaccinated have a right to want their lives back to pre-pandemic level. Stead of this 50% closure of businesses masks required if you were etc. that should only be for people who have been unvaccinated

Because it’s not as effective. Comparative Effectiveness of Moderna... This is not the only study to suggest that a Moderna is a bit better than Pfizer, though I don’t offhand have other references. J and J has been known to have lower numbers since the beginning.

The most effective is Moderna. But in Israel, despite what you’ve read, Pfizer is doing very well. https://www.covid-datascience.com/p...strong-when-60-of-hospitalized-are-vaccinated

You can’t sue Covid for violating our rights. Sorry. Nor are we going to be able to ignore Covid for quite a while. But if we’re vaccinated, wear a mask where appropriate, and are a bit careful about crowds, it’s possible to do most of what we want.

Odd that the poster who was telling me that Larry elder is a white supremacist is then telling me not to get angry and abusive?

You're letting your temper override your integrity, now. Why lie about something that's still up on the board? I merely posted a news link, and even the link didn't say Elder was a white supremacist. There's nothing so bad, that you can't make it worse by lying about it.

You completely slander the candidate for governor

Slander requires that it be false. As you learned, Elder did exactly what the news report said he did.

Instead of getting upset and lying, get control and try to put a reasonable argument together.

You’re the one who’s lying because yes you claimed that Larry elder was a white supremacist. Which is preposterous considering he’s a black man but you only posted it because you want to slander him because he’s a Republican. It didn’t matter to you that it was completely untrue you posted it anyways.

Anybody who would claim that a black man would be a white supremacist is a fool.

Thank you mr obvious. No one knew There has not been another pandemic since 1919.

You didn't, for example. You apparently didn't even realize that the last pandemic in America also included mask mandates. You didn't even know other countries use masks for influenza epidemics.

Nobody in this country or in Europe wears mask for flu season.

Well, that's a considerable change from your first claim, but that's not right, either. About 5 years ago...

There’s never been a mandate for people to wear a mask for flu season in a country that I’m aware of. you post pictures from Asian countries but Asian countries wear a mask because of the considerable air pollution. There’s other reasons to wear a mask besides viruses. I know people who visited industrial areas of China and everyone wears a mask because of the air pollution not because of viruses.

Feel free to link to that statement. You're probably realizing now that the problem with lying about something so obvious, is that it's easy to call you out on it. You shouldn't have lied about that.

The Moderna vaccine has been more effective but I don’t know if that’s necessarily because of their technology. The reason I read was because their dosage was a lot stronger.

The Moderno vaccine is the one I have and it’s had very little side effects for me

Well, you've backed down quite a bit, and you're more careful in denial now. So you're learning. But you're wrong. As you saw earlier, there were mask mandates for influenza in the United States during the 1918 influenza pandemic.

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is a traditional vaccine and has been used lots of times there isn’t really a reason to fear that technology
So, my A-list/B-list response is irrelevant to you?
Attenuated & deactivated [traditional] vaccines are made from both types of platforms.
B-list was introduced in 1979.
Before that, they were all A-list.

Fear? (That is a weird way to frame it.)
Do you know what contra-indication means?
And why should I consider such a risk, when there is a more effective & compatible option (like Valneva) in existence?

Did you read my link in post #222?
