I'd put conviction odds at somewhere around 1 in 100
UNLESS
unless it turns out that some set of republicans have done some political calculations and decided that the party might be safer with Pence. Not sure how Pence might feel about that, or how he feels about Trump, he might love the guy. If it turns out Pence doesn't though, that would change the equation. Basically, whether he wanted to be in it or not, whether he foresaw it or not, and regardless of any motive to do so (good, bad or otherwise) that he may or may not have, Pence is in a good "House of Cards" position.
