President Donald Trump’s failson-in-law Jared Kushner may be a high ranking White House employee, but that hasn’t stopped him from reaping the benefits of being an uber-wealthy scion to a deeply sketchy real estate empire. According to a new report, one of the real estate companies Kushner partially owns has been the recipient of nearly $100 million in foreign investments since papa Trump took office.

The Guardian reported on Monday that Cadre, a company Kushner founded and in which he owns a partial stake, received $90 million in foreign investments over the past two years. All the money was funneled to the company by Goldman Sachs through the Cayman Islands, which means the source of the money is anonymous.

No. That kind of corruption is Trump's brand, not Biden's

First, you have to show it's real. That's been the problem, so far.

In a piece published at The Washington Post this Monday, Jennifer Rubin points out that the recently leaked details from the unpublished manuscript of John Bolton’s upcoming book “raises a host of problems for Republicans.”
    ...
“Either way, the incriminating evidence against Trump will come out. The only question is if they want to be seen as accomplices in a failed coverup scheme.”

President Trump's lawyer Jane Raskin accused Democrats of exaggerating Rudy Giuliani’s role in the Ukraine affair.

“In this trial, in this moment, Mr. Giuliani is just a minor player, that shiny object designed to distract you,” Raskin said.

Which is surely the only time someone has described Rudy as a "shiny object."

Raskin carefully ignored the several witnesses who testified that Trump ordered them to coordinate with Giuliani in the Ukraine scheme, and the fact that Giuliani's name came up a half-dozen times, in Trump's phone call to Zelensky, asking for quid pro quo regarding military aid.

If there is a cover-up, it's starting to crumble...

Apparently, McConnell can't yet make a cover-up work. It appears that McConnell presently lacks the votes to prevent witnesses from testifying.
