You cant blame modern day whites for what happened years ago. I didn't take your land, I was born here same as you, and in poverty. Im sorry for what happened to your people but its not my fault. What do you want from me? You have the same rights as me. What can I give that you don't already have?

My response to OldWiseGuy wasn't personal against you. It's interesting how you took it personally.

The problem is when you only criticize one race for their racism, and ignore others, you prove bigoted yourself.
Please stop bearing false witness. I have clearly indicated that racism goes both ways.

I’d be calling it out even more directly but I think I’d be banned.
If, repeat IF, management here allow profoundly dangerous racist rhetoric but then suppresses vigorous criticism of such rhetoric, then the site itself has a problem.

Why do you take what happened to native peoples more than a 100 years ago personally?

You obviously aren't familiar with the social justice, political, and economic issues of Native Americans.

As a veteran NDN activist, with nearly 30 years of experience, let me help you out with that.

No idea what you are talking about...?

I'm just giving you my advice regarding the racism problem. Someone has to change. The question is who will change first.

Where are we? Here are the facts:

The OP is clearly an appeal to racist sentiments.

No retraction from MBob, no disavowal from from those here on the right. W2L for example has consistently refused to disavow the OP. He or she has raised other related issues. Ok, fine.

But the silence from all here on the right to distance themselves from the OP is a devastating indictment for them.

But when was the last time you exposed racism other than that by whites?
I do point this out at times. All I am doing is drawing attention to the fact that the OP appeals to racist sentiments. To acknowledge this is not to deny there is racism in the other direction.

More nationalism than racism.

I don't see how much more the right can be 'devastated' by such 'indictments'. We're being indicted to death.

I read this link. It's not the problem the title suggests.

The article is about the 40 percent of Navajo Nation members who don’t have access to running water in their homes. It also discusses how some of the Navajo tribal members don't trust the Navajo Nation Environmental Protection Agency or trust the drinking water because they believe the water has been contaminated by now-abandoned uranium mining. I thought it was a very informative article to read.

Why don't they have running water? Don't their leaders know how to drill wells and run indoor plumbing? Or is it because of the EPA conspiracy theory you mention?

No. Repeated references to how people look (see below)

It is no surprise that you are in denial. But denial you most certainly are in, whether you concede it or not.

The transcript of the thread is clear: the MBob is appealing to concerns about how people LOOK:

Republican Arizona state senator says US will 'look like South American countries' soon

Well, from my looking around in San Diego County where we live and in Tuscaloosa County Alabama were my brother and family live, I would say she is spot right on.

Look: MBob got caught appealing to racist sentiments - whether intended or not, the language above appeals to how people LOOK.
