Yes the second or what some people call the third coming will be the first coming for them. This will be right before the Battle of Armageddon when Jerusalem is about to be destroyed. They believe He will be standing on the Mount of Olives and there will be an earthquake. That is where Jesus was taken up to Heaven in the book of Acts and the angels said that HE will return to that same spot. So both Judaism and Christianity teach the same because they have the same Bible.

God Kingdom here on Earth will be permanent and perpetual. Even when there is a new Heaven and a new Earth. His Kingdom will go on forever.

He does not take the Kingdom away from Israel. The prophecy is fulfilled in and through Israel.

He took the unbelievers away from Israel and will graft any back in through faith in Christ = Jesus is Israel along with those who believe in him, not the unbelievers.

The Israel of today will not ever be defeated. It will last until the end of the tribulation period. At that time 144,000 will remain... who have turned to Christ and they will survive to repopulate the earth for Christ's millennial reign. Along with any others, of any nation, who were saved, but did not get beheaded, in the tribulation period.

So, this Nation of Israel..... will stand and not be defeated by any army.... man or Satan will not prevail.

They do. There are Jews who still await their messiah and then there are messianic Jews who have come to realize that He already came as Jesus Christ.

In the tribulation period, the messianic Jews will be raptured or beheaded for their belief in Christ.

144,000 of the non messianic Jews will convert and accept Christ for who He is..

These will survive the tribulation and live under Christ's reign in the millennial age.

The thing is Romans 11 is the whole key. The Jews are undergoing partial hardening/blindness during the Church age, while we Gentiles are getting saved in the bucket loads. Only a remnant of Jews are coming to Christ now- by Gods grace. These are Messianic Jews.

The gifts and calling of God is irrevocable. We can't change His plan for Israel.

It's just like before we were saved. God has elected/chosen us, even before we were saved. He brings us to the point we will repent and believe in Christ. And I was a hard core atheist, and only got saved when I was 28.

If we are as close to the Lords coming as I and others think. This is what is happening to Jews in Israel now. He is preparing them to accept the Messiah when He appears. And it ain't going to be pretty for them, or the world. But after, it will be great!

If the Israeli army can not be defeated then how does Jerusalem get taken away from it in zech 14?

Oppenheimer & Einstein were both of "Jewish" descent. They both came here from Germany before the Holocaust. At the High School I went to the Principal and the Director were both of "Jewish" descent and escaped Germany before the Holocaust. My dorm father was not so lucky and he spent time in a Polish prisoner of war camp where a guard knocked one of his eye out. He was very young at the time because he was a part of Hitler's youth group and sent to the front line at the end of the war.

If Hitler had treated the "Jews" right then maybe they would have given Germany the bomb instead of giving it to the united states.
