Who is "trying to keep the law", when God Himself is the law?

God doesn't need the Law to be defined he was God before the Law and will always be God regardless of it.

One who is saved is seen as a sinner, one doesn't become sinless by keeping commandments as Jesus said one may not be a murderer by the 10 commandments thus seen as not in sin but according to him just the act of hating his brother he is seen just as if he murdered him.

The 10 commandments are not good enough for Christians to follow they fall way short of the righteousness God wants us to walk in.

If Scriptures is interpreted how you’re doing it, then there was no purpose whatsoever for God to give anyone His Law, since everyone from Moses, to David to Abraham were all believers who were saved by grace through faith. Why then did they as BELIEVERS continue to keep God’s commandments???

False. Yeshua told us clearly in Matthew 22:40 that ALL of His Law, the ENTIRE Law depends and hangs on loving God and loving our neighbor. Not sure how English is interpreted for you, but for me HANG/DEPEND does NOT equal replace!
And even if you wanted to live by ONLY loving God, you would still have to keep His commandments, because He who loves God, keeps His Word, listens to His voice and walks according to HIS ways.

Again I ask you who is saved a Jew that never has murdered anyone nor broke the Sabbath nor committed adultery that rejects Jesus or a guy in prison on death row for murder that has accepted Christ as his savior and constantly deals day to day with hating people and lusting and other sinful thoughts in his head? Faith is all.... keeping laws is meaningless if one uses them as a crutch to claim a place in heaven.

Only those who have been born from above are saved. If a Jew or Gentile tries to obey the Law of God perfectly but does not come through the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE, no matter how hard they try they will not be saved. For there is no other way to the Father but through THE way, THE truth and THE life.

Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel, John the Baptist, Paul, Peter, Ananias, Elizabeth, Zechariah….me and I assume you---have all been saved through THE way, THE truth and THE life.
There is no other way.

However what Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel, John, Paul, Peter, Ananias, Elizabeth and Zechariah had in common is that they all CONTINUED walking according to God’s standard of righteousness. His Instructions.

I see. Do you have some other passage of Scripture showing her sabbaths. Which sabbath would be mentioned. The phrase sabbath day covers only one day in the Scripture. BTW what other sabbaths are mentioned in Scripture in relation to something other than what God gave Israel? The above passage is clearly talking about the religious days of Israel given by God.

So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.'
