  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Paraclete-Spirit gives Zoe-Life

The word 'life' appeared in ESV Jn 6 13 times. Jesus declared that he was the bread of life.

Jn 6:

60 When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” 61 But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this? 62 Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
Some months later, just before he was arrested, he promised to send the Paraclete/Spirit after his death.

63 It is the Spirit who gives life;
The Paraclete-Sprit gives Zoe-Life.

Strong's Greek: 2222. ζωή (zóé) — 135 Occurrences

BDAG:
① life in the physical sense, life
② transcendent life, life

the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
This life dwells in our human spirit.

Paul elaborated in Ro 8:

10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
The indwelling Spirit, the Paraclete, gives us life in our human spirit. The Paraclete gives life and is life himself.

Rough times

Thank you sister and thank you for sharing your story!

I'm definitely taking that to heart, I have this belief though that he molds me, that I'm under-going a process that he wants me to. Only God knows for what reason, but so far I can see how the challenges has made me a better man. It's hard though, sometimes I wish I just feeled blessed and thankful. I need to have patience.
God certainly does test us and mold us into His likeness. And molding can REALLY hurt at times. And yes, it can be hard. The way I began feeling blessed was reading all the verses where God tells us He is blessing us and repeating those verses to myself hundreds and hundreds of times. When I told myself I was broke, I stayed broke. But once I told myself I was blessed, things changed. It DID NOT happen overnight. I had to keep doing it even when I didn't feel like it, and even when I didn't see a darn thing happening. I had to prove to myself that God wasn't lying - that I really was blessed like He said. The Bible says God's word is light and truth, and it says God watches over His promises to perform them. You can choose to feel thankful. I thank God everyday for even tiny little things that nobody would notice. I have gotten in the habit of just thanking Him for anything and everything. And the Bible says God loves a grateful heart. You will be fine. I'm praying for you and I'm sure there are others on this board who are praying too. God bless you and keep you! (Yes! Patience is key!!!!)

The authors of a new book profiling 16 holy men and women who championed civil and human rights want readers to know: You can be a saint.

"Most importantly, they should understand that every single person, through the power of God, can do the things that these men and women did," Matthew Daniels, coauthor of "Catholic Heroes of Civil and Human Rights: 1800s to Present," said during a virtual book launch Sept. 9.

Daniels, a distinguished professor of law, political science and human rights at Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina, and founder of the human dignity advocacy group Good of All, together with coauthor Roxanne King, former editor of the Denver Catholic Register and a freelance writer, spoke about the book at the virtual event held ahead of its Sept. 13 release.

More than 100 people registered for the hour-long event that took place on the 40th anniversary of the publication of a pastoral letter by U.S. Black Catholic bishops as a witness to Black American communities called "What We Have Seen and Heard." It also marked the feast day of St. Peter Claver, a Jesuit priest who ministered to Africans under slavery, and advocated for their human dignity, during the 17th century in Cartagena, Colombia.

Rosica accuser: ‘I'm just looking for accountability’

A priest who filed suit against Fr. Thomas Rosica says he hopes to encourage priests who have suffered sexual harassment and assault at the hands of other clerics to come forward, and because he believes Rosica should continue to be restricted from priestly ministry.

Fr. Michael Bechard of the Diocese of London, Ontario, told The Pillar this week that he hopes his story might encourage other priests harmed in the Church to find healing.

The Pillar reported last month that a Canadian priest had filed a lawsuitalleging that he was sexually assaulted by the formerly influential media figure Fr. Thomas Rosica during the run-up to World Youth Day 2002, which was held in Toronto.

The Pillar subsequently reported that the same priest had lodged a canonical complaint against Bishop Ronald Fabbro of the Diocese of London, Ontario, alleging that the bishop had failed to act when informed about his allegations against Rosica.

The lawsuit was filed under a pseudonym, and the priest was not identified in The Pillar’s reporting.

That is very good advice. Very effective tool for learning.

A former professor at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, who alleges he was harassed and fired for voicing his opinions about gender dysphoria, is headed back to district court for trial after achieving victory in an appeals court last week.

A three-judge panel for the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday in favor of Allan M. Josephson, who claimed he was demoted and essentially ousted by the University of Louisville in 2017 after sharing his opinions about how best to treat young people suffering from gender dysphoria during a panel at the Washington, D.C.-based conservative think tank Heritage Foundation.

"The defendants argue that they are entitled to Eleventh Amendment immunity and
qualified immunity. The district court disagreed, and so do we," the 6th Circuit decision written by Biden appointee Judge Andre Mathis states.

Mental pornography: Winning the battle with lust

One of the most compelling tales in the Old Testament is the story of Samson and Delilah. It's a narrative that has captivated audiences in Sunday School classes, sermons, and even Hollywood films. The tale is fascinating because it offers a vivid illustration of how a man can be utterly undone by his desires, abandoning common sense and devotion to God in pursuit of fleeting pleasures.

What makes Samson’s story particularly intriguing is the contrast between his physical strength and his moral weakness. Samson was considered the strongest man in Hebrew history, capable of single-handedly defeating entire armies. Yet his downfall didn’t come at the hands of a mightier warrior, but rather through the deceptive allure of a woman. Samson’s lust ultimately led to his undoing, serving as a cautionary tale for countless others who have followed a similar path to ruin.

Lust is a powerful force, and it has been the cause of downfall for many throughout history. From defrocked pastors to disbarred judges, from disgraced politicians to impeached presidents, the desire for sexual gratification has been a thorn in the side of men for ages. It’s a sin that has destroyed families, ruined careers, and shattered lives.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus deals directly with the sin of lust. He explains that the Law of God goes far beyond mere outward obedience. The Law’s true purpose is to address the heart’s intentions, not just external actions. In Matthew 5:27-30, Jesus challenges the superficial understanding of the Law regarding sexual purity, showing that God requires more than just abstaining from physical acts of sin; He also demands that we flee lust as well.

‘Vatican seems to be working with Beijing’ against Chinese Christians

That is true. :) For instance, with the inquisition, the Vatican was most certainly corrupt, and eventually had to correct their own mistakes years later.
Don't forget that if you're referring to the Inquisition that was in operation in Spain in the 15th and 16th centuries, it was not an inquisition sanctioned by the Holy See---it was an organ of the Spanish crown, operated by a renegade friar named Tomas Torquemada; the Vatican had nothing to do with it. The Holy See condemned the cruelty and excesses perpetrated by the Spanish Inquisition several times. :)

43 Embarrassing Grammar Mistakes Even Smart People Make

4. “I” as the last word in a sentence.

This mistake is remarkably common, yet a correct example would be “Karlee talked with Brandon and me.” The trick to getting this one straight is to take the other person’s name out of the sentence and see if your personal pronoun choice still sounds right. “Karlee talked with I” is awkward and incorrect.

Years ago I was a postman doing rounds in an industrial area in part. One of the customers was a panel beater and he happened to repair a ding I was involved in.

His sister was the post office cleaner and she claimed he'd find money if he fell in the toilet. He just seemed to have the knack.

But I noticed that whenever he answered the phone he would say in a jocular voice "It is I!" which technically is the last word in the sentence.

Have the Faithful Vanished

“Save, O Lord, for the godly one is gone;
for the faithful have vanished from among the children of man.
Everyone utters lies to his neighbor;
with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,
the tongue that makes great boasts,
those who say, ‘With our tongue we will prevail,
our lips are with us; who is master over us?’” (Psalms 12:1-4 ESV)

What does this look like in today’s world, in September of 2024? Everyone is not like this, right? But sometimes it appears as though the majority are. It seems especially difficult to find godly men among us who fit the biblical qualifications of overseer, elder, and/or deacon. There seem to be few men among us who are full of integrity, honesty, honor, faithfulness, moral purity, and uprightness, who have not sold themselves out to idolatry and to sexual immorality and to diluting the gospel to make it more pleasing to the flesh.

And this isn’t just targeted against men, but they are supposed to be the ones leading us, right? They are the ones who are supposed to be modeling for us what a true biblical Christian should look like and act like. They are to be the pastors and overseers and elders and deacons, and they are supposed to be the head of their households who love their wives as Christ loved the church and who gave himself up for her. And they are to be leading their children in paths of holiness and righteousness, by example.

But from reading the statistics on marital infidelity, on porn addiction, on divorce, and on addiction to sexual immorality, it doesn’t appear that the majority, including some pastors, are following the biblical model for what a man of God should look like, and what an overseer should be like, and what a godly husband and father should look like. Statistics appear to give the opposite impression, as do the actions and the words of many who claim Jesus Christ as Lord and as Savior. So many worldly professers of faith.

And, again, this is not targeted just against men, but men are mentioned first because they are the ones given the responsibility by God to be our leaders in the gatherings of the church and in our homes. So when that breaks down, the whole family unit breaks down from what it is designed by God to be. But all of us who profess faith in Jesus Christ are to be those who are walking no longer in sin but in holiness and in righteousness, and in walks of obedience to our Lord’s commands – all in the power of God!

So, this is a call to God to save us from the spiritual condition that so many who profess faith in Jesus Christ are in today, which is far from what God has planned and purposed for our lives. And it is absolutely true that so many now utter lies as just a natural course of life and conversation. Lies and liars abound just about everywhere you look these days – in the home, in the church, in the government, and in the media, etc. And faithfulness, unless it is being faithful to idolatry, also seems to have nearly vanished.

“’Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan,
I will now arise,’ says the Lord;
‘I will place him in the safety for which he longs.’
The words of the Lord are pure words,
like silver refined in a furnace on the ground,
purified seven times.
You, O Lord, will keep them;
you will guard us from this generation forever.
On every side the wicked prowl,
as vileness is exalted among the children of man.” (Psalms 12:5-8 ESV)

And it isn’t just the physically poor who are being plundered. But it is the poor in spirit, those of genuine walks of faith in Jesus Christ, who take him at his word, and whose lives are committed to death to sin and to living to God and to his righteousness in walks of faithfulness and in obedience to the Lord in holy living. We are being attacked, lied to, lied about, assaulted, and persecuted for righteousness’ sake. And we are largely being marginalized or struck down because we still hold to the gospel that Jesus taught.

Now, with regard to our Lord’s protection, he does not promise us that he will protect us from being hated and mistreated and marginalized and persecuted for the sake of his name, and for the sake of his gospel, and for the sake of righteousness. He tells us plainly that if we follow him with our lives that we will be hated and persecuted as he was hated and persecuted and that some of us will even be put to death for our walks of faith in the Lord. But he will protect us through our trials from giving in to Satan.

But even there we must cooperate with him in his work of grace in our lives, and we must follow him in wherever he leads us in doing what his word commands that we must do. And that includes enduring with patience unjust sufferings and persecutions. And that includes us loving our enemies and praying for them and doing good to them and speaking to them in ways which can be beneficial for them spiritually if they will listen. For it is not our job to get even with people. It is to love and to forgive even our enemies.

Why Are You Afraid?

An Original Work / December 5, 2013
Based off Various Scriptures

Do not be afraid.
Your Lord is always by your side.
Serve the Lord in righteousness
Before Him all your days.

Those who hate the light
Will not come to the Lord.
They fear their deeds
Might be noticed.
So, they hate the light,
And they embrace the night.

Do not be afraid,
Although your enemy attacks.
Dare to share your testimony
Of God’s saving grace.

Do not fear their threats,
But honor Christ, your Lord.
Be prepared to give an answer
For the hope you have,
With gentleness; respect.

Why are you afraid?
For all that’s hidden will be shown.
What I tell you, speak in daylight.
Let the truth be known.

Do not be afraid
Of those who’ll take your life.
Fear the Lord with understanding.
Trust Him with your life,
And give not up to strife.

Do not be afraid.
Take courage, it is I, your Lord.
Bow before Me; now adore Me.
Oh, why do you doubt?

Listen to the Lord.
Get up and bear His name!
Run and tell the world He loves them.
Jesus came to save.
Give Him your all today.

Is God omniscient?

In a Newtonian world view, we would say that God with a perfect understanding of the current state of every atom can know all about the incoming asteroid or colliding galaxies.
Assuming no randomness, Newton was aware of the mathematical limitations in solving the general case of the Three Body Problem.

But if there truly is randomness built in by God, then God Himself could theoretically not know exactly how it will play out.

Why Kamala’s Campaign Is Spiraling Into Desperation Mode

Yes for being past tense, but appealed means that someone has appealed something. Not that he will appeal it in the future or is in the process of doing so. It tells nothing of the result of the appeal. That's a different thing.
Sorry but I'm not going to keep rewinding back to several days ago.

Life Uncertain

Texting, vexing, and now sexting
Windows open, shadows lurking
People peek behind the curtains
Life now surely so uncertain

Evil is around the corner
In the shadows, under cover
Waiting, tempting, looks for targets
Self-indulgent always searching

Dreamers, sluggards, time a wasting
Fearing not a judgment hastening
Take God’s gift of grace for granted
For their gospel, it is slanted

Hear then what the Spirit’s saying
If you keep on sin you’re craving
And you are now misbehaving
Life you lose, you are not saving

Turn from your sins, follow Jesus
From our sins he died to free us
Live your life now in the Spirit
And no longer with the wicked

Behold, the Wicked Bend the Bow

Psalms 11:1-3 ESV

“In the Lord I take refuge;
how can you say to my soul,
‘Flee like a bird to your mountain,
for behold, the wicked bend the bow;
they have fitted their arrow to the string
to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;
if the foundations are destroyed,
what can the righteous do?’”

Taking Refuge vs. Fleeing

Under the New Covenant, how do we take refuge in the Lord? What is our refuge? Jesus Christ is the one in whom we take refuge when we trust in him to be Lord and Savior of our lives, so he is our refuge (fortress, protection, stronghold), as well as he is our salvation from sin. So, when we are believing in Jesus Christ with God-given faith, and daily we are dying to sin and walking in obedience to the Lord, we are taking refuge in the Lord Jesus.

So, if someone is trying to tempt us to take matters into our own hands, or if he is trying to convince us to solve our own problems, apart from God, we must not listen. For what that person is attempting to do is to pull us away from putting our trust fully in the Lord and to get us to give way to fear, instead. For Satan loves to instill fear in our minds to try to convince us that God is not getting it done for us and so we have to do it ourselves.

Or someone might try to tempt us, not necessarily to resolve our own issues but rather to escape from them into a fantasy world. Rather than face issues and difficulties, many people will retreat into TV shows, movies, video games, secular music, social media, and/or porn, or they will escape into drugs, alcohol, daydreaming, and just wasting time, etc. – anything in order to avoid responsibility and having to do the right thing.

Fleeing to False Faith

And another thing that many people are tempting others to do today is to flee like a bird (escape, retreat) into a false gospel message. Rather than dying to sin daily and walking in obedience to our Lord, they are being led to a gospel which makes no such requirements. All one has to do is to pray a prayer or to confess Jesus as Lord or to just call on God (not explained), and then he is promised that his sins are forgiven and heaven is guaranteed.

Now, I am well aware that the Scriptures do say something along these lines, but we must read those Scriptures in the context in which they are written, for the Scriptures are not going to teach us opposing gospel messages. The gospel message has to agree with itself, so it is not going to tell you that all you have to do is just to call on God and now you are saved from your sins for eternity regardless of how you live your life on earth.

For Jesus said that if anyone would come after him he must deny self, take up his cross daily (daily die to sin and to self) and follow (obey) him. For, if we hold on to our old lives of living in sin and for self, we will lose them for eternity. But if for the sake of Jesus we die with him to sin, that we might live to him and to his righteousness, then we have the hope of eternal life with God (Luke 9:23-26).

He said that not everyone saying to him, “Lord, Lord,” will enter into the kingdom of heaven but the one DOING the will of God the Father who is in heaven. He said, “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” (Matthew 7:21-23).

And then we are instructed to walk by the Spirit so that we will not gratify the desires of the flesh. And then we have a list of such sinful desires, which includes sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, fits of anger, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. Those who are doing such things in practice, deliberately and habitually, will not inherit the kingdom of God no matter what confessions of faith they have made in the Lord Jesus Christ.

[Gal 5:16-21; Gal 6:7-8; Rom 1:18-32; Rom 2:6-8; 1 Co 6:9-10; 2 Co 5:10; Eph 5:3-6; Col 1:21-23; Col 3:5-11; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14; 1 Jn 1:5-9; 1 Jn 2:3-6; 1 Jn 3:4-10; Heb 10:26-31; Eph 4:17-24; Tit 2:11-14]

So, obviously, taking refuge in the Lord Jesus is more than just lip service. All throughout the New Testament we are being taught the importance of dying with Christ to sin and living to God and to his righteousness; no longer living under the control (dominion) of sin and Satan, but now living to please God with our lives; now living in freedom from our slavery (addiction) to sin so that we can now live as slaves of God and of his righteousness.

For Jesus died on that cross that we might die with him to sin and live to his righteousness, that we might no longer live for ourselves, but for him, and that we might honor God with our bodies since Jesus bought us back for God (redeemed us) by his blood (1 Pet 2:24; 2 Co 5:15; 1 Co 6:19-20).

The Wicked Bend the Bow

If we are following Jesus Christ with our lives in submission to Christ as Lord (Owner-Master), in obedience to his commands (New Covenant), and in the sharing of the truth of the gospel, and especially in exposing the fruitless deeds of darkness, the wicked are going to be opposed to us. Not all of them will directly come against us, but some (or many) will. And please know that the wicked are all those who do evil (in practice), so they can be professing Christians, and some of them may be pastors, too.

Since this false gospel makes no requirements for death to sin and walking in obedience to our Lord in surrender of our lives to the will of God for our lives, those who are teaching it or who are following it are going to be opposed to us if we teach walks of holiness and righteousness as required for salvation from sin and for eternal life with God. Yet, we are not to flee their attacks against us by retreating or withdrawing. We must persevere in our walks of faith and in telling the truth and in exposing the lies.

For many people are being deceived by charlatans who are telling them what their itching ears want to hear. And many are following these “pied pipers” to destruction because they refuse to submit to Christ as Lord and to follow him in obedience and to forsake their sinful practices. But time is running out. If we pay attention to what is going on in the world we can see the signs of the last days in front of our eyes. So don’t be one of the ones who hears Jesus say, “I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” Forsake your sins and obey the Lord from now to eternity.

Tick Tock

An Original Work / May 1, 2011

Tick tock, tick tock, time is a passing.
The time on the clock keeps ticking
While the church is fast a-sleeping.
Satan’s on a rampage
‘Cause his time is running out.
Will you worship God the Father,
God the Son and Holy Spirit?
Will you obey all of His
Commands for you today?
Jesus died to pay your ransom,
So that you could be forgiven.
Won’t you come to Him in truth
And penitently pray to Him?

Tick tock, tick tock, time is a wasting.
The cross of our Lord awaits you.
Won’t you come and share His table,
Drink the cup and eat the bread
In memory of Him?
Take a heart examination,
And accept our God’s salvation.
Humbly bow in adoration
And proclaim His name.
He wants for you to believe in
Him who interceded for you
When He died for your sins
And He rose from death in victory.

Tick tock, tick tock, time’s end is nearing.
How He longs to take and keep you,
In His arms He wants to hold you,
If you will but come to Him
And call on Him today.
His desire is that you please Him
In all of your life’s ambitions;
Be a living sacrifice
And be transformed today.
Let Christ’s love and grace sustain you,
And His promises prepare you
For His soon return to earth
To gather all His saints to Him.

Alzheimer's Disease can be transmitted between people.

I almost couldnt believe this but my wife said it had to be something that was medically transmitted or a blood transfusion, and she wasn't far off...

"First-ever study finds that Alzheimer's Disease can be transmitted between people.

In a major discovery, scientists have presented the first evidence of Alzheimer's disease transmission in living individuals. A recent paper published in Nature Medicine sheds light on a remarkable case where Alzheimer's appears to have been medically acquired through the transmission of the amyloid-beta protein.

Typically considered a sporadic condition of late adult life or an inherited condition resulting from faulty genes, Alzheimer's disease has long remained a complex puzzle for researchers. However, this new study brings to the forefront a unique scenario, where the disease was seemingly transmitted through medical treatment.

The individuals in question had all received a type of human growth hormone known as cadaver-derived human growth hormone (c-hGH) during their childhood. This hormone was derived from pituitary glands harvested from deceased individuals and was employed to treat various causes of short stature. Remarkably, c-hGH was administered to at least 1,848 people in the UK between 1959 and 1985.

Unfortunately, c-hGH was withdrawn from use in 1985 due to the realization that some batches were contaminated with prions, infectious proteins known to cause Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). Consequently, synthetic growth hormone, devoid of the risk of transmitting CJD, replaced c-hGH in medical practice.

Previous research by these scientists had already established a link between c-hGH treatment and the premature development of amyloid-beta protein deposits in the brains of some patients diagnosed with iatrogenic CJD.

Furthermore, in a 2018 study, they demonstrated that archived samples of c-hGH were indeed contaminated with amyloid-beta protein and could transmit amyloid-beta pathology to laboratory mice when injected.

Building upon these findings, the researchers hypothesized that individuals exposed to contaminated c-hGH who did not succumb to CJD might eventually develop Alzheimer's disease.

This latest paper details the cases of eight individuals who had received c-hGH treatment during their childhood, often spanning several years. Five of these individuals exhibited symptoms of dementia, either with a confirmed Alzheimer's diagnosis or meeting the diagnostic criteria for the disease. The onset of neurological symptoms occurred surprisingly early, with the patients ranging in age from 38 to 55 when they first experienced symptoms.

Biomarker analyses further supported the diagnoses of Alzheimer's disease in two patients and hinted at Alzheimer's in another individual. An autopsy analysis confirmed Alzheimer's pathology in yet another patient. The unusually young age at which these patients developed symptoms strongly suggests that this was not the typical late-onset sporadic Alzheimer's.

Genetic testing ruled out inherited Alzheimer's disease in the five patients who provided samples. Since c-hGH treatment is no longer in use, there is no risk of new transmissions through this method. Moreover, there have been no reported cases of Alzheimer's disease acquired through any other medical or surgical procedures, nor any indication that amyloid-beta can be transmitted during routine medical or social care.

However, the researchers emphasize the importance of reviewing safety measures to prevent the accidental transmission of amyloid-beta through other medical or surgical procedures that have previously been linked to CJD transmission.

Professor John Collinge, the lead author of the research and Director of the UCL Institute of Prion Diseases, clarified, "There is no suggestion whatsoever that Alzheimer's disease can be transmitted between individuals during activities of daily life or routine medical care." He added that these cases were linked to a specific and discontinued medical treatment involving contaminated materials.

Professor Jonathan Schott, a co-author and Chief Medical Officer at Alzheimer's Research UK, echoed the sentiment that while these cases are highly unusual, they offer valuable insights into disease mechanisms that could be instrumental in understanding and treating Alzheimer's disease in the future.

Dr. Gargi Banerjee, the first author of the study, highlighted, "We have found that it is possible for amyloid-beta pathology to be transmitted and contribute to the development of Alzheimer's disease." However, she emphasized that this transmission occurred only after repeated treatments with contaminated material, reiterating that Alzheimer's disease cannot be acquired through close contact or routine care provision.

The discovery of Alzheimer's transmission through c-hGH treatment underscores the intricate nature of this debilitating disease, paving the way for further research and a deeper understanding of its causes and potential treatment strategies.

Who has Alzheimer’s Disease? In 2020, as many as 5.8 million Americans were living with Alzheimer’s disease. Younger people may get Alzheimer’s disease, but it is less common. The number of people living with the disease doubles every 5 years beyond age 65. This number is projected to nearly triple to 14 million people by 2060. Symptoms of the disease can first appear after age 60, and the risk increases with age. What is known about Alzheimer’s Disease?

Scientists do not yet fully understand what causes Alzheimer’s disease. There likely is not a single cause but rather several factors that can affect each person differently...."..https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/first-ever-study-finds-that-alzheimer-s-disease-can-be-transmitted-between-people/ar-AA1qwI0G

Why does heresy no longer occur as a formal charge?

You seem to think that his thesis requires that there were no ethnic divides in Christianity prior to the Reformation, but that simply isn't true.

Oh I see what you’re saying. Fair enough. I misread your post as stating that he has said that the ethnic division had originated in the Reformation, which is obviously not the case, and I was frankly surprised NT Wright would have asserted such an obvious error given his reputation, but nope, it was me failing to correctly parse your post, so my apologies for that tangent.

Why did the people in Babel not try to learn each other's language?

They had only known one language. Now suddenly, they all spoke different languages. It wasn't a case of learning just one language, but thousands!
China is incredibly diverse in terms of languages. There are 297 living languages spoken across the country. The most widely spoken language is Standard Chinese (Mandarin), which is the official language and is based on the Beijing dialect.

In addition to Mandarin, there are several major dialect groups, including:

  • Wu (spoken in Shanghai and surrounding areas)
  • Min (spoken in Fujian and Taiwan)
  • Yue (Cantonese) (spoken in Guangdong and Hong Kong)
  • Xiang (spoken in Hunan)
  • Hakka (spoken in various regions, including Guangdong and Fujian)
  • Jin (spoken in Shanxi and parts of Inner Mongolia)23.
These dialects have numerous sub-dialects, and there are also many minority languages spoken by China’s various ethnic groups3.

We have had a major school shooting in northeast GA with confirmed deceased. My sister works at another school in that particular county, as well.
Praying now! Lord God I lift up all who have been affected by this school shooting in Georgia to You and I pray for Your intervention in their situation, I pray that You would bring peace to the situation and for complete physical healing for all who were injured, I also pray for healing for any emotional wounds! I pray for wisdom for the police investigating this situation and I pray that Your will would be done in the shooter's legal situation! I I also pray for conviction and salvation for the shooter and for all involved in this situation that do not know You! Thank You God!
