Prophecy about the WoF Movement.

Years after his going home, fruit is coming. I have believed this for years. Many parts of this word really resonated in my spirit.
Well, we see some fruit - since Dad's graduation Rhema has expanded to 290 schools globally and a current student population of over 22,000 this year. Combine that with the 3,500 churches in Europe and 32,000 churches planted in Asia by Rhema grads - that is pretty good fruit if you ask me.

But he missed it in the first couple of sentences - Word of Faith is not a denomination - never has been.

Clergy Sex-Abuse Victim Cries Foul Over How Kamala Harris Treated Him Two Decades Ago

20 years ago, someone was annoyed with how Harris did her job in Cali.

20 years ago I was annoyed with JP II, no one cared.

Do I get a grievance?

This guy is just, shall I say, weird?

....and, ftr, over the last 20 years, we really have to ask:

Does the Church really care about the victims of sexual abuse ?

Because it just seems to be non-stop delay, denial and, of course, bankruptcy.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Embracing Joy in Life's Imperfections˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗

Screenshot 2024-07-30 145636.png

In our quest for happiness, we often cling to an idealized vision of joy, one that is unblemished, free of sorrow, and steadfast regardless of life's circumstances.
Yet, life teaches us that joy and sadness coexist.
Perhaps joy is never perfect, but we can still celebrate amid challenges.

Understanding Imperfect Joy
The Word of God showcases stories of joy intertwined with sorrow.
David expressed exuberance before the Lord while penning heartfelt laments.
(Psalm 30:5), he writes, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning," reminding us that sorrow often precedes joy.

Celebration of Life's Duality
God doesn't expect us to live pain-free; rather, He calls us to recognize our struggles while seeking joy within them.
(John 16:20), Jesus reassures us with this statement, "You will weep and mourn, but... your grief will turn to joy."
Joy can thrive alongside sorrow.

Finding joy in life's imperfections may manifest as gratitude for a friend, a walk in nature, or in small victories.
These personal moments invite us to experience joy, however imperfectly.

Embracing Imperfection
Expecting perfect joy leads to disappointment and disillusionment.
Joy exists in small moments, a shared smile, or sunshine after a rain shower.
In (2 Corinthians 6:10), Paul states this: "Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing," reminding us that joy is rooted in our personal relationship with God, not by our circumstances.

Finding Joy in Fellowship & Community
Fellowship & Community plays a vital role in navigating emotions.
Sharing burdens can transform sorrow, allowing joy to rise.
(Ecclesiastes 3:4) states this: "A time to weep, and a time to laugh."
Inviting others into our lives fosters a space for joy to flourish, even in tough times.

Reflections
Let us accept that joy may never perfect, but it's real and worthy of celebration.
Let us embrace our sorrows while actively seeking joy, recognizing the beauty in life's duality.
Our Sovereign Lord invites us to celebrate amid sorrow, assuring us that joy is waiting to transform us.

Let's choose to celebrate our imperfectly perfect journey together.

What is the “one baptism” mentioned in Ephesians 4:5? (I have an answer, but I would like input).

Acts 1: 5. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.”

John was part of the Old Testament and the many diverse washings (baptismos in Greek) that we’re to be done away and we’re imposed upon the Jews until the time of reformation.

But the Jewish believers needed time to come out of the old. They still were following the whole law zealously, going into the temple with the sacrifices abd priests and circumcision, Andy kept all the customs (Halakah law oral traditions as well). As we see in scripture. Read Acts 15 and 21. ,

This was all told long ago in scripture but many seem to have missed these truths for centuries . Even though they are right there in the text .

Acts 21: 17. And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly. 18. And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present. 19. And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry. 20. And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: 21. And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs. 22. What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come. 23. Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them; 24. Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law. 25. As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication. 26. Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purifcation, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.”

So when we see a Jewish believer in Acts water baptizing or sacrificing animals or circumcision as Paul did to Timothy (Acts 26), we can understand that that was a transition for the Jews who were in a time of reformation. Not for all people (themselves or Gentiles). God is patient and gave a time for this.

Hebrews 9: 9. Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 10. Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.”

The word “washings” is

baptismos- from 907; ablution (ceremonial or Christian):--baptism, washing
And Israel had the Doctrine of Baptisms , called BAPTISMOS , and there many words and definitions as what BAPTIZO means .

Read Mark 7:4 and 8 , Jews washed their cups , pots , cooper and the beds and couches and washed there hands before eating , Luke 11:38.

And there many types of WASHING called Baptism .

I say that BAPTISMS were for Israel and NOT for the BODY of CHRIST !!

Who inherited Isaac's material wealth?

Isaac was around 100 years old and thought he was about to die (Genesis 27:2). He blessed Jacob instead of his first-born son Esau with the inheritance.

Soon, Jacob fled to Laban in Padan Aram, where he worked for 20 years (Genesis 31:38,41).

During Jacob's absence from his brother. Esau probably took over Isaac's movable properties, slaves, animals, etc. He started to settle down south of his father in Seir/Edom (Ge 32:3), east of the Joran River.

When Jacob returned and met Esau at Jabbok River, Esau was a wealthy man. He had 400 men with him. Still, Jacob gave Esau hundreds of animals as gifts. Esau returned to Seir.

Jacob settled in Succoth (Genesis 33:17), north of Hebron, where Isaac lived.

Some decades later, Ge 35:

27 Jacob came to his father Isaac at Mamre, or Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned. 28 Now the days of Isaac were 180 years. 29 And Isaac breathed his last, and he died and was gathered to his people, old and full of days. And his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
There was no mention of how Isaac distributed his wealth when he died. He might not have had great material wealth when he died. At this time, Jacob and Esau were 120 years old (Ge 25:26, 35:28). Jacob probably did not insist on being the legal firstborn over property rights. He probably took over his father's fixed assets in Hebron while Esau got the movable ones. Esau returned to Edom outside of the promised land where his descendants dominated. There was no mention that the two brothers bickered over their inheritances, like who was the real first-born son. They probably agreed on a compromise. Their material inheritances from Isaac were not that important. The point was that Jacob inherited God's promises to Abraham. In the eyes of God, Esau had sold it to him.

My Gospel by Paul

The mystery Paul spoke of in Romans 11:11 is not a new revelation as some has indicated it has always been veiled prophecy (both near an far)

Paul says in Romans 11:11.

Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression/false step, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.

Paul as a schooled Pharisee would have known the song by Moses in Deuteronomy 32:21, Romans 10:20

Deuteronomy 32:21
They made me jealous by what is no god and angered me with their worthless idols. I will make them envious by those who are not a people; I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.

Paul is applying this prophecy to the current situation, where salvation has come to the Gentiles, making Israel envious, resulting in the inclusion of the Gentiles in Gods plan of salvation. He starts this explanation in the previous chapters of Romans and builds on it.

Veiled or hidden does not mean it is not there, rather to use an analogy of a veil. A bride is still there, under the veil, she is concealed until the veil is lifted. Just as the veil is used hide the face of the bride, God has "hidden" His plan for humanity as they are ready to receive it. He unveils it, as He wills. This doesn't mean God deliberately hid the truth, but rather, He chose to reveal it in a way that aligns with His sovereign plan, that is both merciful and just. It was not hidden by God, but in God. Revealed in the Person of Christ.

Because of the hardness of the hearts, his people could not comprehend that God's purposes were greater than their immediate situations, even if the prophets all hinted at it.

In a similiar way they could not see God in the person of Jesus because of that same hardness and spiritual blindness. They could not perceive the Promised Seed. They could not comprehend the prophesied King.

What is the transgression/the false step that they took? Unbelief, they did not believe in the Messiah that stood in their midst.

Romans 16:25-27
Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith— to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

It was always the same good news. Paul did not bring a separate message of eternal salvation to Gentiles.
And in Rom 1:1 treads , Paul a slave of Christ Jesus , a called apostle , Having Been SEPARATED // APHORIZO , which means , Paul was SPERATED , BOUNDARIES and LIMITED for GOD'S GOSPEL .

This proves the Paul was LIMITED to only preach God's Gospel , Period !!

Peter preached the CIRCUMCISION GOSPEL in Gal 2:7 .

Not a coincidence.

I volunteer with a ministry that helps the at-risk, homeless, underprivileged, etc in our area.

Like many such ministries, we also work with other various ministries in the area and sometimes we exchange goods with them.

For example, ministry A may have gotten in a donation of canned goods they cannot use, but they need clothing. We have excess clothing but are short on canned goods - we exchange.

It was in just such a scenario the following occurred. We had gotten in several donations of clothing in odd sizes and had not found anyone that needed them in a few months. We passed them on to another ministry that could use them. I delivered them.

Everything was delivered except for 1 bag of girl's clothes. I knew it was in my truck. I loaded it in my truck. However, when I was unloading my truck at the other ministry I did not see that bag, despite it being with all the other donations. I even checked twice. I did not notice the bag still in my truck.

I got back and they asked why I kept the bag of girl's clothes. I said, "What?" and looked, and sure enough - there was the bag of girl's clothes. Other than simply not seeing it when I unloaded despite it being in front of my face, I had no explanation.

Then the ministry phone rang. It was a young mother asking if we had any girl's clothes she could have for her daughter.

Everyone just said, "Oh, that's why. God had a plan for those."

Sometimes, for me, its little things like this that really help boost my faith.

God hates ALL evildoers?

Since God hates unrepentant sinners should we?
I wouldn't.

1. I am not God. I don't truly know who will be unrepentant to the end or not.

2. Loving the sinners is a better approach to convince them of Jesus (Jn 13:35).

Good question :)

I feel the last 30 years we've taken up the mantle to hate evil and thus the warfare between people of other beliefs.
Check out What would happen to people who don't acknowledge the true Jesus? and follow up there.

Why didn't Philip directly answer Jesus' query in John 6:5?

John 6:

1 Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), 2 and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. 3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. 4 The Jewish Passover Festival was near.
That's the setting: Jesus had performed healing miracles among a great crowd, and now, people were resting on a mountainside.

5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?”
Jesus asked Philip, "Where?".

6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”
Why didn't Philip directly answer Jesus' query in John 6:5?

He might have, but John didn't bother recording that part: "Oh, there is a baker not far off, but…".

He might not have, but he went straight to the practical point: "But Jesus, we don't have the cash to buy …".

In either case, he failed Jesus' test. Philip looked at the horizontal limitations instead of the vertical possibility of Jesus performing a miracle.

Andrew fared slightly better:

8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
Jesus proceeded to use the limited resources to multiply.

Why didn't Philip directly answer Jesus' query in John 6:5?

That wasn't the point. The point is this: what is impossible for men is possible with God. Philip did not see that.

Will I be held accountable for my children’s lives?

Yes, as fathers, we have this responsibility before God. Pr 22:

Ephesians 6:

We do our part to raise them up, the rest is up to them. Having done that, they are responsible for their sins. Ezekiel 18:

Particularly when they are young, fathers bear the responsibility for their growing up knowing God. After that, they are directly responsible to God.
Thankfully God forgives parents who fail, like He forgave David over Absalom. The admonition is a good one, though. Of course, as Absalom became an adult, he was responsible for himself and his response to David's failure (as you demonstrate, Tony).

Absalom didn't choose very wisely.

I pray we all do choose wisely. We are also ultimately responsible for whether we forgive and honor each other - parent to child - and child to parent. Because really, haven't we all failed each other to some degree?

The most awesome gift a parent can give a child is to ask them for forgiveness, and vice versa. It seems incredibly difficult to do, which I figure is exactly God's point.

Forgiveness has it's reward, and God is very clear about it as His command, and in expressing His over-reaching desire for all parents/children:

Malachi 4:5-6 NKJV

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

Help. Please.

I'm actually relieved by the information. I thought no one understood my pain or that they just didn't like me! Thank you for the prayers!

I'm happy for you to get this information that's brought you relief.

John 8:31-32 says:

(Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,)
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

I love how the Lord reveals truth to us, when it is time for us to know it.
He is a Great God!
