  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Catholic nurse practitioner reaches settlement with CVS in religious discrimination suit

Catholic nurse practitioner Gudrun Kristofersdottir recently agreed to a settlement in a religious discrimination case against CVS, her lawyers have announced.

Kristofersdottir initially filed a lawsuit in 2024 following her termination from a Florida CVS MinuteClinic after she refused to prescribe contraceptives or drugs that could cause abortions.

The nurse practitioner was originally granted a religious accommodation from 2014 to 2022 that allowed her to refuse to prescribe contraceptives and abortifacients.

First Liberty Institute, which represented Kristofersdottir in the suit, said that when patients sought out contraceptives from Kristofersdottir, she would simply refer them to a different provider who would prescribe the medication.

Nothing but grey sky

Today there is
Nothing but grey sky
Later on is going to rain
I have been walking
For 1 hour already
I am not made of ice
I am made of
Flesh and bones
Also it is very cold out there
It is -9 with the windshield effect
I miss the sunny days
During the spring
I also missing the vitamin d
That I need so bad
Now is time to check my blood
With the glucometer
My reading was normal
The glucometer never lies
Now it got dark inside my house
It is time for me to turn the light on
Inside my house
And inside my house is now bright
And the night is here
I must say that I am feeling tired
AIready so I am going to try
To go to bed early today
I am not sure about the weather tomorrow
Yes I hope to be up early tomorrow
Also I left all the windows open
So I could air my house
And I also will be awaken
By the birds

Orpah served as a literary foil to Ruth

Oxford, foil:

a person or thing that contrasts with, and therefore emphasizes, the qualities of another person or thing
After Naomi's husband and sons died in Moab, she decided to return to the promised land. Her two daughters-in-law accompanied her. Ruth 1:

8 But Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, “Go, return each of you to her mother’s house. May the Lord deal kindly with you, as you have dealt with the dead and with me. 9 The Lord grant that you may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband!” Then she kissed them, and they lifted up their voices and wept. 10 And they said to her, “No, we will return with you to your people.”
Initially, both wanted to join Naomi on her journey. However, Naomi wanted to test their resolve:

11 But Naomi said, “Turn back, my daughters; why will you go with me? Have I yet sons in my womb that they may become your husbands? 12 Turn back, my daughters; go your way, for I am too old to have a husband. … 14 Then they lifted up their voices and wept again. And Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.
Naomi explained to them that their prospects of getting a husband were not good. Orpah gave up the journey, but Ruth insisted on following her mother-in-law tightly. That's the contrast.

15 And she said, “See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.”
Naomi tested Ruth again using the foil this time, but Ruth declared:

16b “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” 18 And when Naomi saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more.
Ruth passed the tests.

Orpah’s departure amplifies Ruth’s steadfastness. Orpah represents a path of pragmatism and convenience. Ruth, by contrast, embodies unwavering loyalty and a willingness to embrace the unknown. Orpah’s character in the story serves not only as a literary device but also as a reflection of human choices. Vertically, this dynamic sets the stage for Ruth’s pivotal role in the story, where her faithfulness leads to her inclusion in the lineage of King David and, ultimately, the Messiah in the NT. Orpah, in her absence, becomes the shadow that makes Ruth’s light shine brighter. Don't be like Orpah, but be like Ruth :)

Lawmakers unveil legislation to protect pregnancy care centers across the country

U.S. Reps. Chris Smith, Claudia Tenney, and Michelle Fischbach and other pro-life leaders at a March 24 press conference at the U.S. Capitol unveiled the Let Pregnancy Centers Serve Act to protect pregnancy care facilities.

Smith, co-chair of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, noted that “there are more than 2,700 pregnancy care centers throughout the United States. Each and every one of them [is] an oasis of love, compassion, empathy, respect, and quality care for both mothers and their precious children.”

“Yet,” he continued, “state governments like my own state of New Jersey and some lawmakers seek to discriminate against pregnancy care centers by violating fundamental conscience rights to compel complicity in abortion.”

The Let Pregnancy Centers Serve Act of 2025 aims to “prohibit discrimination against entities that do not participate in abortion and to strengthen implementation and enforcement of federal conscience laws,” Smith explained.

Baptist PRAYER CHAIN

Please pray for me to find a place to belong. I'm single and extremely lonely, and I don't have a job and can't seem to find one. It's tearing me apart because I know God has someone in store for me, but with how everything looks right now, I'm afraid I'll die alone. I have actually contemplated suicide before and have had to leave work early once when I did have a job because of how much I cried over how lonely I am.

So please, pray for me to find a job and a wife. God changed my heart towards marriage; I used to be against it. But I can't see how God will get me out of this circumstance and I'm scared.

Free mason

What is freemasonry and is it compatible with being a Christian?

Freemasonry originated among literal stone mason guilds in the medieval era.

In modern times it has become a secretive fraternal society with secretive rituals--this, generally, places it at odds with the general Christian sentiment of 1) our lives should be lived openly and honestly before the world and 2) a general suspicion of secretive organizations which may (or perhaps may not) divide loyalty.

Can a Christian be a Freemason? Sure.

Is it compatible? That's harder to say, generally speaking the historical answer is probably not, probably shouldn't, there are lots of opportunities in both Christian and secular spheres for socializing and doing work together for various purposes, which don't require secretive affiliations.

Greek Orthodox archbishop praises Trump for Middle East Christian support, gives him cross

Archbishop Elpidophoros of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America kicked off this year’s Greek Independence Day event at the White House on Monday by thanking President Donald Trump for protecting Christian communities in the Middle East.

Using Emperor Constantine’s famous vision of the cross, he presented Trump with a holy cross, calling it a symbol of “divine guidance” for the nation’s leaders.

“You remind me of the great Roman Emperor Constantine, who founded and built the magnificent city of Constantinople — my birthplace, known today as Istanbul,” the archbishop said.

“Let this cross guide you as it once guided Constantine,” he added. “May it make America invincible!”

The Epistemology of the President

For those who want a precise "list" of dysfunctional reasoning examples,
I would say (kindly) that you do not understand formal logic. THAT would
be like asking for a precise list of all possible math errors.

Logic errors fall into 2 large categories...

1. Logical fallacies
2. Logical unsoundness.

Any step in a logical proof (or argument) commits a logical fallacy,
IF it asserts some proposition that is not arrived at by using one of
the 20 Rules of Inference, or the Quantification Rules.

Any definition in a proof/argument is Unsound, if it does not match our
shared reality.

There are uncountably infinite possible logical fallacies, and logical
unsoundnesses.

Indeed, I am intimately familiar with formal logic, since I finance my Christian ministry with my work as a systems programming consultant on embedded computers, and formal logic is very helpful for those working in computer science. Indeed, the prolog language is actually built around formal logic and relies upon logical predicates as a means of performing computations. It is a uniquely powerful tool.

However, ironically I would say your digression into this area is itself fallacious, a red herring, an informal logical fallacy, as opposed to a fallacy of formal logic, since you have stated you believe Americans are embracing “epistemological dysfunctions,” and I asked you to explain what those dysfunctions are, and how they pertain to US policy in Ukraine.

Additionally, I would argue that you are prioritizing formal fallacies over informal fallacies. A formal fallacy is syntactic in nature, broadly speaking, whereas informal fallacies are semantic in nature, but both classes of fallacy are equally fallacious.

Lastly, I have never heard anyone assert that there are an infinite number of logical fallacies, if by logical fallacies, you mean types of logical fallacies, as opposed to possible fallacious statements using existing known logical fallacies. Indeed, our ability to recognize and react to fallacious statements is part enabled by the fact that both formal and informal fallacies are not great in number; rather, what tends to happen is people fall back on a few common fallacies with annoying frequency (such as begging the question, the appeal to unqualified authority, the appeal to ignorance, the fallacy of composition, etc).

Number of Monarch Butterflies Wintering in Mexico is Way Up–Doubling the Forest Acreage Over Last Year

The number of monarch butterflies overwintering this year in Mexico has nearly doubled, according to the annual census released last week by the World Wildlife Fund in Mexico and their partners.

During the last few months in 2025, the population of eastern monarchs occupied 4.42 acres of central Mexico’s forests—up from 2.22 acres during the previous winter.

The encouraging survey was conducted with help from Mexico’s National Commission of Protected Natural Areas and local communities, and it serves as an important indicator of the health of a monarch population that has been clawing its way back from dangerously low levels this century.

A portrait of a stately West African leader painted by famed Austrian artist Gustav Klimt has reappeared in public after being lost before World War II.

Nearly a hundred years have passed since it was last seen, and is now exhibited at Wienerroither & Kohlbacher Gallery in Vienna, with a price tag of €15 million.

The portrait of Prince William Nii Nortey Dowuona—a representative of the Ga people in West Africa, comprising parts of modern-day Ghana, was painted by Klimt in 1897, sold by the artist’s estate in 1923, and lost by 1938.

Could Donald Trump inadvertently be paving the way for the AC ?

Although I believe in the pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Bride of Christ and I believe in the premillenial return of His Second Coming, I absolutely 100% disagree that President Trump is paving the way for the antichrist.
Well, not ON PURRPOSE, but by God's DESIGN. He places men in power for reasons, so says the bible. Remember Dan. 10, where Michael the arc angel fought with demon powers (probably Apollyon) for 21 days to make Greece the new world power, and to defeat Persia. God thus made this come to pass through Alexander the Great.

Let us visit the spiritual real. If you were Satan (LOL) and your end was to kill every Jew to make God's promises null and void then you need to have three things happen. You need to get a standing army in the E.U., you need for the Russia Alliance to be lowered in power (Satan knows God will destroy 5/6 of the Gog and Magog Armies....Russia, Iran and Turkey) and you need for the busy body USA to lose power drastically, I used to think this was an Economic Collapse, I now understand this to be an Asteroid Impact. The 1/3 of the Trees that Burn and 1/3 of the Ships that are destroyed with the 1/3 Sea Animals is not 1/3 per se, its the DESTINATION POINT of the Impact. The whole New World has like 1/3 of the worlds Landmass, and the Pacific Ocean covers 1/3 of the worlds surface, and (because I was curious I looked it up) Water from different Oceans CAN NOT MERGE because of different PH levels (I never knew that but it answered my question, well aren't Oceans just man made drawn up lines? No was the answer).

So, Satan understand the USA will diminish after the pre trib. rapture, because the crazies will be in charge, but then the 1/3 of the world that is set ablaze is the New World, and this Asteroid will hit just off the cast in the Pacific Ocean. Rev. 8 is an Asteroid Impact as shown in Four Phases. 1.) The Asteroid breaks apart on entry somewhat via Trump #1, this causes trees to burn from the probably Sulfur Fire Balls that drop, just like they dropped on Sodom. Trump #2 is THE IMPACT which causes what John saw as a Great Earthquake of course. Trump #3 is the FALLOUT of the impact which poisons the Fresh Waters of course. Finally via Trump #4 we see the Sun & Moon go dark or dim by 1/3 because of all the smoke and the blood moon is really just the moon seen on earth with a red hue because 1/3 of the world is ablaze. God/Jesus is going to rule from Jerusalem, so He Is not going to burn the Old World (that came to me in a DUH moment) but instead kill off those in the New World who take the Mark of the Beast.

So, Satan knows all of this, he is just going to wait on God to bring those two conditions to fruition, the Gog and Magog war and the Asteroid (Middle of the 70th week event) are brought forth by God's design to make Israel repent. But if all this happened and the E.U. has no Standing Army how could they help Israel with Russia and thus gain their trust? And how could the Conquer Israel? So, IMHO, Trump was elected in order to bring all these things to fruition, its God's plan to get Israel to repent, He had a 70 weeks or 490 year plan.

On Destroying Tesla Property, and "Domestic Terrorism"

I point out this article to make a generic point...

Americans, I believe, have gotten much to arbitrary, as to what they think
of as "domestic terrorism".

As I have done before, the mob that showed up at the Capital Building was
involved in illegal violence and even the killing of police officers. And yet,
almost all of these illegal rioters have been pardoned.
---------- ----------

The FBI has for a long time been warning that domestic terrorist groups
are a much greater danger to American democracy, than foreign terrorist
groups. HOWEVER, the American identification of "terrorist" with the
main 2 political parties, is a damaging re-definition of terrorism. When
Americans arbitrarily "politicize" violent acts of "protest" into the channels
of political preferences, THEN this undercuts the fair rule of law in Ameirca.
---------- ----------

The situation is more complicated with the younger, electronic screen
generations. They seem to buy into the (false) truism that ...

First you demonstrate.
Then, you get what you were demonstrating for.

This is NOT how real life works. Nor is it a sound definition of what
TRUTH is.

So far, we do not have anti-Tesla-anti-Musk partisans showing up at local
elections with semi-automatic assault rifles, in order to "ensure a fair election".
(This type of intimidating behavior, is legal in Arizona.)

Nor do we have strange anti-Musk groups following fictional diaries such as
some of the rioters at the Capital building on January 6th, followed. (This is
where you get the lynchers who brought with them a gibbet on which they
were intent on hanging politicians they disagreed with. This is part of their
fictional template for "revolution".)

Expect to see the emergence of unsubstantiated "Deep Car" conspiracy theories,
that posit great and sweeping conspiracies behind these several attacks on
Tesla products. That is what social media bubbles, promote.
---------- ----------

For Christians, lawless violence is lawless violence. We should not try to
sanititize it, along political, or racial, or cultural boundaries. We should not try to
justify it.

There are legal methods for pursuing perceived wrongs, in the American
system of law. These are the methods that Christians should pursue.

Feeling Anxious? This Annunciation, Give Your Worries to God Like Mary Did

Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord

Lectionary: 545

Reading 1

Isaiah 7:10-14; 8:10
The LORD spoke to Ahaz, saying:
Ask for a sign from the LORD, your God;
let it be deep as the nether world, or high as the sky!
But Ahaz answered,
“I will not ask! I will not tempt the LORD!”
Then Isaiah said:
Listen, O house of David!
Is it not enough for you to weary people,
must you also weary my God?
Therefore the Lord himself will give you this sign:
the virgin shall be with child, and bear a son,
and shall name him Emmanuel,
which means “God is with us!”

Responsorial Psalm

Psalm 40:7-8a, 8b-9, 10, 11
R. (8a and 9a) Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
Sacrifice or oblation you wished not,
but ears open to obedience you gave me.
Holocausts or sin-offerings you sought not;
then said I, “Behold I come.”
R. Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
“In the written scroll it is prescribed for me,
To do your will, O my God, is my delight,
and your law is within my heart!”
R. Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
I announced your justice in the vast assembly;
I did not restrain my lips, as you, O LORD, know.
R. Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
Your justice I kept not hid within my heart;
your faithfulness and your salvation I have spoken of;
I have made no secret of your kindness and your truth
in the vast assembly.
R. Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.

Reading 2

Hebrews 10:4-10
Brothers and sisters:
It is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats
take away sins.
For this reason, when Christ came into the world, he said:
“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
in holocausts and sin offerings you took no delight.
Then I said, ‘As is written of me in the scroll,
behold, I come to do your will, O God.’”
First he says, “Sacrifices and offerings,
holocausts and sin offerings,
you neither desired nor delighted in.”
These are offered according to the law.
Then he says, “Behold, I come to do your will.”
He takes away the first to establish the second.
By this “will,” we have been consecrated
through the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Verse Before the Gospel

John 1:14ab
The Word of God became flesh and made his dwelling among us;
and we saw his glory.

Gospel

Luke 1:26-38
The angel Gabriel was sent from God
to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph,
of the house of David,
and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And coming to her, he said,
“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.”
But she was greatly troubled at what was said
and pondered what sort of greeting this might be.
Then the angel said to her,
“Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God.
Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son,
and you shall name him Jesus.
He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High,
and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father,
and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever,
and of his Kingdom there will be no end.”
But Mary said to the angel,
“How can this be,
since I have no relations with a man?”
And the angel said to her in reply,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.
Therefore the child to be born
will be called holy, the Son of God.
And behold, Elizabeth, your relative,
has also conceived a son in her old age,
and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren;
for nothing will be impossible for God.”
Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word.”
Then the angel departed from her.

Two more priests kidnapped by jihadists in Nigeria

Catholic bishops in Nigeria recently released a report stating that 145 Catholic priests had been kidnapped in Nigeria over the past ten years. Some estimate the number is much higher.

Two more priests were kidnapped recently in Nigeria by jihadists, as Christian persecution continues in a country that, paradoxically, is experiencing exponential growth in Catholicism.

Rev. Fr. John Ubaechu, the parish priest of Holy Family Catholic Church in Izombe, in Imo State in southeastern Nigeria, was taken captive on Sunday, March 23, on his way to the Priests’ Annual Retreat.

The kidnapping was confirmed in a March 24th statement signed by Fr. Patrick Mbarah, the Archdiocesan chancellor.

“I am directed to inform you that one of our priests, Rev. Fr. John Ubaechu was kidnapped on the evening of Sunday, 23 March 2025. … The said incident occurred along Ejemekwuru road in Oguta Local government Area of Imo State,” he said in the statement.

“We invite all Christ’s Faithful and all men and women of goodwill to earnestly pray for the quick and safe release of our priest,” the statement reads.

‘The Chosen: Last Supper’ premieres in Dallas, bringing Holy Week to the big screen

The wait is almost over for The Chosen fans. The highly anticipated fifth season of the groundbreaking series — “The Chosen: Last Supper” — premiered at a special red-carpet event in Dallas, ahead of its nationwide theatrical debut on March 28.

With cast and crew in attendance at the B&B Theatres Red Oak 12, the event marks the beginning of an eight-episode journey through Holy Week, one of the most pivotal and dramatic chapters in the life of Jesus.

Focusing on Jesus’ final days before the Crucifixion, “The Chosen: Last Supper” is expected to challenge audience expectations with an intimate and deeply human portrayal of Christ and his disciples during their final moments together.

“We’ve never seen Jesus quite like this,” Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Christ in the series, told Our Sunday Visitor. “We cover everything in great detail,” Roumie said, explaining how Catholics experience the liturgical expression of the events of Holy Week. “I don’t think anybody has attempted to do this on the scope that we’re doing it.”

sadness in life and career advice

I dont know if im dealing with depression but i just feel down. Granted I have my battles with mental sin that does get to me but I really dont know why I feel so down.
"mental sin" > yes, I have seen how my imagination's sinning can keep me from loving the way I should; it can get my attention into the wrong place > including by paranoid and immoral imagination stuff, in my case.

And if we are not doing things in God's love, we can give in to feelings which are not . . . in God's kind and caring and joyful loving.

So, we need to trust God to get rid of the negative and nasty stuff and change us into how He has us become and love like Jesus. This is not our own discipline that does this; but we submit to God in order for Him to do all which He alone can do.

"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
I have God with me, I have salvation, I just recently got my cdl b license.
This driver's license would make you able to do something different than welding. In case you decide to get away from your "supervisor" and that situation, getting a job driving a truck could be a diplomatic way to get out. You could just say you have gotten a new career, versus getting into major trouble trying to deal with the "supervisor" and/or higher-up people. Dishonest people who betray others can be very dangerous. So, in case anyone is knowingly betraying customers by allowing shoddy work to be made and sold, it could be a problem with some individual or with the whole higher administrative staff; I would say be very prayerfully careful in dealing with anyone who is ok with betraying trust by letting out shoddy stuff. I suppose any shoddy welding could be dangerous, by letting metal parts get loose so they could cut people or jam and damage the machinery where the shoddy parts are. If they are expecting you to be a part of something like that, you might even need to just disappear from there; possibly talk with a mature Christian person first, about this.

One thing, though > for heavy vehicle driving, there can be abuse of drivers, not letting them get proper sleep and rest and breaks, and maybe other things I have not been told. You would still need to see if you can make sure about the safety and honesty of whomever would employ you.
But I just don't seem to hear anything from God, I don't see him working in my life, I struggle with not feeling God's love along with loving God back in an emotional way not just through obedience which I'm not perfect at.
God is the One who is good at what He does!

He in us makes us able to do well.

"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)

And Jesus is our One who judges and rules what to do in any circumstance. So, trust Jesus about all this. He rules in and through everything . . . as Lord of all.
I know that were not supposed to rely on our feelings but I still desire it.
God is alive. God does feel. So, yes there are the feelings we have in God's love. These are kind and gentle and humble, like Jesus >

"'Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (in Matthew 11:29).

So, indeed > there are feelings and emotions . . . not loving and kind . . . which we need to put away >

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice." (Ephesians 4:32)

These things can be included in the process of depression. The person's depression can include being bitter, somehow, angry and even wrathful, and there can be "clamor" *in* us > a major racket and commotion of feelings and emotions raging in us in depression, plus we can have much "evil speaking" in the thoughts of our depressed thinking. And what does God say to do? Put it away > get rid of it > do not try to struggle or negotiate with it > but depend on God to put it away.

Then we can be kind, in our feelings and emotions and thinking and our manner with other people >

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

You will have very different feelings, doing this. Because there is feeling in God's love. The reality of God's love feels different than our self-concerned and self-seeking stuff feels.

And God's word says we do have "senses" > Hebrews 5:14 > in God's love we have senses to feel what is going on inside of us. God has senses, including to hear and smell and see, and He shares His sensing ability with us, in His love.
I struggle truly grasping my salvation. Then moving on to my life circumstances like I said I have my cdl b license now but I really only went for it for money and that it would be easy compared to other jobs.
It can be good to have an easy job so you have energy outside work for blessing people, including having time with energy for your family. But I would say to be careful about who you work for, driving.
But the thing is it's not the career I would have chosen if given the opportunity. I am used to working in a retail environment and used to be a department manager and just had an interview for lowes earlier today. I maybe wouldn't mind working retail my whole life if it wasn't for the fact of how bad it's gone down for the workers in terms of what employers desire vs what they give in return.
It is what good you can do with it, that matters . . . with God.
Also theres a stigma attached to the idea of working retail as a career which I have seen and felt in my life.
It's what you make it,
how you take it . . .
just don't y:)u fake it !
It's only going to get worse too probably due to A.I.. What I enjoyed when working in retail was the idea of being a leader that everyone loved and wanting to take on a challenge and turn a department around. I didn't have any career ambitions that lasted aside from retail. I just turned 25 too and don't see myself going back to school. I have other issues in my life but what should I do? Thanks for any advice.
Make sure with God. There are risks that are worth taking, so we can love.

Consider how Jesus was in Heaven itself, and how it was for Him to come to be here on this earth. For what He came to do, though, it was worthwhile to go through that stigma. There was the loving which came as a result. So, you need, then, to be appreciative of having Christian people to love, and make the sacrifices that are for loving.

"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2)

After Trump sends gang members to El Salvador, Venezuela agrees to accept US deportation flights

My hunch would be if they got their boys back, they'd keep them safely in Venezuela to lay low. (especially if they're "connected")

I don't think there's any shortage of other gang members they could send if that was their goal.

When Pablo Escobar had connections and intermediaries to help get some of his operatives states-side to "conduct business", they estimated he had thousands of people working for him who were "snuck" in. And I'm sure he had many more ready to go if some of them got popped.

I would more liken to the example I mentioned before of a "favor for a favor".

If the Hells Angels did a "favor" for a corrupt leader in one state, and someone in another state stuck a bunch of their guys in a jail full of a rival MC's people where they'd potentially be sitting ducks, I could see them calling in that return favor to get their guys back to their home state where they have a certain level of protection.

Cartels employ many US citizens and residents to carry out their illegal trade as well. And I would be surprised if the Cartel didn't have paid-off VE government officials to look the other way. With their power and money, they can buy off anyone.

Pope knew he ‘might not make it,’ physician says

ROME (CNS) — For Pope Francis’ medical team at Rome’s Gemelli hospital, Feb. 28 was the worst day.
