How is it relevant to consider ourselves, believers, as regards any degree of kingship with Jesus, when praying?

It's like being the little brother of the almighty King of Kings.
Thank you, ozso. Actually, i have the feeling like Jesus introduces us into a filiation of God, but does it mean he valids us as brothers. They have first to do the will of the Father, haven't they ?

Two-state solution conference against Israel relies on Hamas’ lies

| Scott Olson/Getty Images

The latest world congress of antisemites concluded last Wednesday after world leaders once again reassured each other that those evil Jews are, in fact, starving children, and that therefore they must not be left to peacefully coexist, secure in their own sovereign nation. The outcome of the conference fully justified the Trump administration’s decision to boycott the conference, which it called “an unproductive and ill-timed … publicity stunt.”

Conference of antisemites

Of course, evil is never so blunt. Rather, Saudi Arabia and the recently radicalized France co-hosted a “High-Level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution” at the U.N. headquarters in New York City. But when world leaders discuss settling the “Question of Palestine” and implementing a “Two-State Solution” in a U.N. context, no one can miss their meaning.

The conference produced a seven-page document that endorsed a renewed effort to achieve a two-state solution between Israel and Palestinian Arabs. The plan insisted that Israel agree to an immediate ceasefire and prevent the starvation of children in Gaza, before it eliminated Hamas or effected the return of the remaining hostages. Seventeen individual countries, the European Union, and the Arab League all signed onto the document.

Continued below.

The Lord's eyes are too pure to look on evil. Really?

No, not exactly. Habakkuk complained in 1:

Habakkuk was frustrated and venting. Gill explained:

Proverbs 15:

Habakkuk wasn't making a doctrinal statement that God literally could not see evil. Rather, he's expressing his frustration and confusion about why God, who was holy and pure, seemed to be tolerating wickedness. It's a lament or complaint to God, not a theological pronouncement about God's limitations.
When he speaks about God not being able to look at sin, he is speaking about allowance of sin. God is pure and righteous and holy and good and just. Sin is not tolerated by Him, that is why He chose his Son to become sin, so that we have a path back to Him. The only righteous person who could bear the sins of the world.

Police training materials label Moms for Liberty as extremist group

"members use parents' rights as a vehicle to attack public education and make schools less welcoming for minority and LGBTQ+ students."
I don’t think it’s a vehicle or an excuse to be less welcoming to LGBTQ students.

I was brought up out of Atheism in 1972 by TV Evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong.

I so thank all of you for your prayers. I woke up this morning with a message that in a way could force me to begin go start preaching and teaching although I kind of would prefer to not go in that direction.

Is Jesus beginning to intervene in Canadian and USA politics in order to expose corruption at high levels?

Are the events of these past ten years a warning for all Christians that is related to whatever form the "Mark of the Beast" will ultimately take?

Will A. I. soon expose every lie being told by elected officials as they give speeches?

Is it possible that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau here in Canada may have been working for a vastly different long term set of goals than he even thought that he was working toward?

"A ten billion dollar donation to Joe Biden or Kamala Harris or to the USA Democratic Party would not fully make up for what all Canadians and Americans saw P. M. Justin Trudeau doing up here in Canada!"

Everywhere He Sends Us

Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
And before you were born I consecrated you;
I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Then I said, “Alas, Lord God!
Behold, I do not know how to speak,
Because I am a youth.”
But the Lord said to me,
“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
Because everywhere I send you, you shall go,
And all that I command you, you shall speak.
“Do not be afraid of them,
For I am with you to deliver you,” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:4-8 NASB1995)

We who are in Christ, by biblical God-persuaded and God-gifted faith in the Lord Jesus, are the called of God to his service. Even before God formed us in the wombs of our mothers God knew us and he predestined us to be conformed to the image (likeness) of his Son Jesus Christ. Even before the ages began, before he laid the foundation of the world, he chose us in him that we should be holy and blameless before him. And in God’s book were written the days that were formed for us, before one came into being.

[See: Psalm 139:13-16; Romans 8:29; 2 Timothy 1:8-9; Ephesians 1:3-4]

So God has a unique plan and purpose for all of us individually as well as he has a collective purpose for us all, too. He did not call us to salvation just so when we die we get to go to heaven and not to hell. He called us to die with him to sin and to be reborn of the Spirit of God to now walk in holiness and righteousness, in obedience to our Lord and to his commands. And he gifted us with spiritual gifts and he assigned us our body parts within the body of Christ so that we will now live to fulfill his purpose for why he made us.

So God does not save us by his grace so that we can go on living in sin and for self and for self-pleasure and not in walks of obedience to his commands. He does not save us so that we can chart our own course and decide our own future and where we will live and what we will do with our lives while we might (or not) give him some of our time in a daily quiet time of Bible reading, and/or in attending a weekly “church” service. He has a very specific plan and purpose for each one of us he wants to do in us.

Now we are not all called to be prophets like was Jeremiah, but we are all called of God to be his witnesses in taking the message of the gospel of our salvation to the people of the world, teaching them to obey our Lord’s commandments. We are to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth in preserving and in spreading to the world the truth of what the Scriptures teach us regarding the gospel of our salvation. And we are to be those who proclaim the excellencies of him who called us out of darkness into the light.

[Matthew 5:13-16; Matthew 28:18-20; John 4:31-38; John 13:13-17; John 14:12; Acts 1:8; Acts 26:18; Romans 10:14-15; Ephesians 5:11-14; 1 Peter 2:9,21; 1 John 2:6]

But if we are going to be the Lord’s servants and witnesses who are taking the message of the gospel of our salvation to the people of the world, we need to be students of the Scriptures who study them in their correct biblical context so that we make certain that the “gospel” we are spreading is the one that Jesus taught, and that his New Testament apostles taught, and not the diluted and altered version of the gospel that so many are spreading today in the name of Christ, and of truth, and of salvation from sin.

For Jesus Christ taught that to come to him we must deny self, take up our cross daily (die daily to sin), and follow (obey) him. For if we hold on to living in sin and for self, we will lose our lives for eternity. But if we deny self, die daily to sin, by the Spirit, and we walk in obedience to our Lord and to his commands, in his power, then we have eternal life with God. For not everyone who calls him “Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one DOING (obeying) the will of God (see Luke 9:23-26; Matthew 7:21-23).

And no excuses for why we cannot be who God created us to be, doing what he created us to do, as those who profess faith in the Lord Jesus. For I can attest to the fact that God can give us knowledge and talents and abilities beyond anything we would have ever imagined or even thought of. He can give us the words to speak and the lessons he wants us to communicate. We just need to be open to hearing from him and to following him wherever he leads us to doing whatever he had planned for us before we were born.

Humbly I bow, Lord, before You,
Bringing my requests to You.
May I listen; hear You speaking.
May I follow You in truth.
Gently lead me in Your service.
Guide my steps and strengthen me.
Fill me with Your love and mercy.
May I live for Thee!

Let me be Your servant witness,
Telling others of Your grace.
May I always share the gospel
With those I meet face to face.
May I show the love of Jesus,
Caring for the needs of men;
Be Your servant witness always
For my Lord, Amen!

My desire to be like Jesus,
Living for Him ev’ry day.
May I obey all His teachings
Given me, so I’ll not stray.
Love You, Jesus, Lord, my master.
You are the King of my heart;
Follow You where’er You lead me;
Not from You depart!

Things Which You Do Not Know

“Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still confined in the court of the guard, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it, the Lord is His name, “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”’” (Jeremiah 33:1-3 NASB1995)

Was this just for Jeremiah? Or does God still speak to our hearts and minds, via the Holy Spirit, and show us things we did not know before? And is prayer just a one way street where we do all the talking and where God says nothing? Or is it two-way communion between us and our Lord where he speaks to us, and where he guides and directs us specifically in the way that he has for us, and where he opens our eyes to things we were previously blinded to? I believe it is the latter and not the former. The Spirit speaks!

Let me give you an example of this. In 2004, when the Lord called me to this ministry, he began opening my mind to so many things I had no knowledge of previously. He put in my mind names of people and places and objects and groups and events I never heard of before. And so I looked them up at a time when the internet was more wide open and not so locked down as it is today. And he gave me much understanding of all sorts of things I would never have chosen to adventure towards ever before.

And this covered such subjects as politicians, presidents of nations, the US government and military, the Bilderbergs, Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, NATO, the UN, the IMF, the World Bank, the Federal Reserve, Freemasons, Zionism, the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, the deep state, the WHO, Big Pharma, the WEF, the powerful elite, the New World Order, the All-Seeing Eye (national symbol), international law, the UN Bill of Rights, the shadow government, and Washington, D.C. history, etc.

And I was literally clueless about most all those subjects previously. Never heard of most all of them before. So God, by his Spirit, was making me aware of all these institutions, and so much more, because they all play a critical role in the rule of the beast, which is in motion, and which is certainly alive and active and rising presently. And he was teaching me about weather manipulation and all sorts of evils being committed by the US government and their political allies on a consistent and habitual basis.

And he did visit me in dreams, but the dreams were more like parables like Jesus told to the people when he lived on the earth, which taught biblical truth. And he has used such parables in my life ever since then to show me what he wants me to focus on and what message he wants me to convey specifically from the teachings of his word, not in any way to alter the truths of the Scriptures, but just to let me know what he wants me to focus on and to what extent, i.e. particularly where he wants the emphasis to be.

And all of this was happening in conjunction with my daily devotions, for he had me reading the Scriptures from start to finish, and then from the Psalms to Revelation for several years, and then from the Prophets to Revelation – all of this over a period of about 13 years before he had me begin using Bible Gateway for their “verse of the day” which he expands on with additional Scriptures. I have been using Bible Gateway primarily the past 8 years, though not exclusively. But as I read the Scriptures he began showing me how they were being realized today in our present day world events.

But it wasn’t just that. He was correcting some things I had gotten wrong from teachings I had received throughout my life from pastors who taught the Scriptures. And he was opening my eyes to biblical truth I had not discovered before in the Scriptures, that I had just not picked up on before. All from the Scriptures themselves and not from any outside sources, but just truth I had missed before. For when you read the Scriptures in their full context, but you haven’t done that before, it brings the truths together.

Now there are some people who will claim that we cannot hear the Spirit speak truth to our hearts other than through the 66 books of the Bible. And I agree that we need to be very discerning so that we are not led astray by those who are adding to the Scriptures what is not of God and that which is contrary to the will of God and to his teachings. But the Lord has so many things he wants to show us that we need to be made aware of and so that we don’t end up following the beast thinking we are following God.

For so many people today who profess faith in Jesus Christ are following after people and nations and governments that are not of God, and that are against God, in reality, which we would realize if we could see all the evil they have been doing throughout our lifetimes and times well before us. And so many professing Christians are believing the lies and the liars who have persuaded them as to their lies. And this fits perfectly with the teachings on the last days before the return of Christ and of the rule of the beast.

So I want to encourage everyone reading this to pray and to inquire of the Lord as to whether or not you are believing lies of the enemy, and whether or not you are putting your faith and trust in ungodly and evil people and rulers of nations, believing that they are of God, but may not be. For the Scriptures teach us to test the spirits to see which ones are of God, and we need to be diligent about that, for we live in an age of massive deception. And be students of the Scriptures who study them in correct context, too.

Bombs are bursting. Night is falling.
Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Trust Him with your life today.
Make Him your Lord and your Savior.
Turn from your sin. Follow Jesus.
He will forgive you of your sin;
Cleanse your heart, made new within.

Men betraying: Our trust fraying.
On our knees to God we’re praying,
Seeking God to give us answers
That are only found in Him.
God is sovereign over all things.
Nothing from His mind escaping.
He has all things under His command,
And will work all for good.

Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.

Men deceiving: We’re believing
In our Lord, and interceding
For our nation and its people
To obey their God today.
He is our hope for our future.
For our wounds He offers suture.
He is all we need for this life.
Trust Him with your life today.

Pray that Jesus Christ Loves, protects, provides & cares for all those affected by flooding in Northeastern China

May the Lord comfort the families of the victims and see the fragility of humanity and the truth of God. I live in Beijing. Recently, more than 30 elderly people were drowned in nursing home in Miyun County, Beijing due to rainstorm. The elderly in nursing homes still do not have the legal opportunity to listen to people preach the gospel. I feel very sad.

Make America a Monarchy Again

The argument of the original post is, more or less, that leaders of modern democracies (like the President of the United States) have more power and are more authoritative than kings of the past, and that a return to a monarchy would result in less governmental power. As it says:

"Anywhere and everywhere around the world, as governments transitioned from monarchies to democracies and republics, they quickly became vastly more powerful, controlling and authoritarian. In other words, if Trump were a monarch, he would be far less powerful than he is as president."

However, there are severe problems with this argument.

If it is saying Trump would have less power if he were a king in the King Charles sense, sure. But then that makes the article's whole argument irrelevant. Charles's lack of power doesn't mean the government has less power, it just means he personally doesn't have it; the power is wielded by the parliament, in particular the prime minister, instead.

The actual argument the article appears to be making is to assert that monarchies were less powerful, controlling, and authoritarian, and a return to that--an absolute monarchy--would fix that. Thus, if America went back to a monarchy, it would be less controlling.

The article's whole argument, however, suffers from a major issue. It is comparing modern Presidents (or prime ministers or other such positions, but I'll say President) to past kings. Perhaps kings in the past did have lower power--but even if so, it is not the past anymore, but the present. So instead of comparing modern Presidents to past kings, how about comparing modern Presidents to modern kings? Why isn't it doing that?

If we look at modern monarches--actual monarchs with real power, not guys like Charles who are just figureheads--we don't see governments that are less "powerful, controlling, and authoritarian". We instead see Saudi Arabia and Oman, countries that are (domestically, at least) more powerful, controlling, and authoritarian than the United States or as far as I am aware any modern democracy is.

I would say the actual reason for governments being more directly controlling than the past isn't because monarchism somehow restrained the king. Practical realities were what did it; the length of time for travel or communication meant a king couldn't exert direct control on much outside of his most immediate lands. As anyone who played The Oregon Trail knows, back in the day it took months to get from Missouri to Oregon. Nowadays someone can go from Washington D.C. to Oregon and back in less than 24 hours. Due to the slow rate of information travel, Britain didn't even know about the US's July 4 Declaration of Independence until August; nowadays I can read news about events in Nigeria the same day they happen. This dramatically increased level of communication and travel allows rulers to be far more direct in their power than they ever could have been before.

So, sure, maybe if Trump (or any modern US President) was a king a thousand years ago, he would've had far less power. But a king in the modern age? That would just make him and the government as a whole way more powerful.

Woke Culture is Clueless Why Average People Do Not Like Woke Entertainment

I think what's more problematic about Disney movies is the lack of real creativity. Deconstructing fairy tales obvious tropes isn't exactly artistically brave, it's actually more like a sucker punch, and thirty years two late.

The Father of IVF

IVF is exponentially worse than abortion because many embryos are created and few are used.

The rest or discarded or kept on ice in a lab--as long as the owners pay rent.

PGT, pre-implantation genetic testing, insures that only embryos without genetic abnormalities are implanted. The affected embryos are discarded.

An abortion involves one embryo (or, in much rarer cases, a fetus.)

Ever wonder why so many 40-something acresses have boy-girl fraternal twins? PGT allows for designer babies.

I guess the candidate didn't hear all that--or doesn't care.

Yes, what's more disturbing that abortion is the widespread acceptance of IVF as a "personal choice", even though it involves the commodification of human life in a profound way. But because it doesn't involve decisions made by poor or working class women (instead, it's mostly undertaken by the managerial class and wealthy), it's difficult for it to be moralized in the same way in an individualistic, Protestant-esque culture.

And WHAT IS ACTS 16:15 SAYING. TO YOU. ??

No, I'm not disputing Acts 1:5. But it is the presence of pneumati that makes it baptism in the Holy Spirit, while places without specification carry the implication of water being used. Baptism in Acts 1:5 is an analogy/metaphor because the pouring out of the Spirit at Pentacost was akin to being submersed. Using acts normatively is highly questionable, because it is a descriptive book so we can't generalize in a straightforward manner.
And it seems more like Your answer is Eristic !!

The Blood-Curdling Permian Monsters That Ruled the Earth Before Dinosaurs...

Comfort attributes to God the design of the Cavendish banana. But it was designed by the humans who bred it to be useful for humans.

And his little buddy Kirk tries a bit of dishonesty by selectively quoting Darwin about the human eye. The part that Kirk cut out of the quote is:

“When it was first said that the sun stood still and the world turned round, the common sense of mankind declared the doctrine false; but the old saying of Vox populi, vox Dei, as every philosopher knows, cannot be trusted in science. Reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a simple and imperfect eye to one complex and perfect can be shown to exist, each grade being useful to its possessor, as is certainly the case; if further, the eye ever varies and the variations be inherited, as is likewise certainly the case; and if such variations should be useful to any animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, though insuperable by our imagination, should not be considered as subversive of the theory.”

Darwin's prediction was eventually confirmed. We see all graduations of eyes. We even have living examples of such graduations in a number of phyla.

Nice try, Kirk.

Noem Reveals 2 ICE ‘Raid Leakers’ Have Been Identified Within The DHS

This administration is waging a lawless and wicked war against the Republic, and anyone who--peacefully--stands in the way of what they are doing is demonstrating their patriotic duty.
Seems a bit over the top. There isnt any lawlessness, just law enforcement which has been lacking for some time. There is no war against rhe Republic. The republic is in good shape as Congress is still functioning as is Supremem Court. Voters are still voting, laws abd bills are still being created and the courts are still ruling.

Standing in the way of immigration law enforcement is criminal. It is not a patriotic duty to prevent LE from doing their duty to enforce immigration law. Immigration law has NOT been found to be unconstitutional and neither has enforcement action been found such.
