CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

7th keeper the false claims you say presidentTrump made that he never made the offer. Well he certainly did offer the national guard. Days before Trump had sent his acting defence secretary Christopher Miller and chief of staff Kash Patel they went to the Capitol police and secret service and law enforcement and mayor Bowser to seek the permission to send in thousands of national guards as reinforcements. They asked them directly do you want the national guard. All those mentioned said NO. Unless you want to call Miller and Patel liars in their testimony's. You must remember the law requires them to get permission all the way up to the house speaker. So President Trumps hands were tied when the answer came back NO. But he did ask .

As to a ballet in the ceiling as a warning shot perhaps your right I’m just going on the building being old and made of much sturdier stuff like old Queenslanders out here in Australia and no I don’t know much about guns nor the power or the caliber of the gun used. As to you continuing to label Ashley a traitor. Is it not enough the lady now lies 6 foot under. Yet you seem determined to show no mercy nor respect labeling her as a traitor I guess every soldier that marched at that protest you would label a traitor as well . That’s all I say. I cannot change you and only say that there is a very fine line between justice and mercy. ❤️
