  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Christian Family Rejected by Village

[8] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for Hema, Chanda, and Manish.
Christians in India often lose access to community resources, such as water and communal pastures for livestock.
In the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh State, India, Christians face increasing pressure and violence for following Christ. Hema; her 16-year-old daughter, Chanda; and her 13-year-old son, Manish, are the only believers in their village since coming to faith in Christ two years ago. Village neighbors repeatedly tried to force them to reconvert to Hinduism, but they remained strong in the Lord, so the village excommunicated them. Read More.

Management and business development

@rjs330, @Wolseley, @Larnievc @iluvatar5150 and others.

I'd like to start a discussion about business and personal development in the business world and I ask that we keep this a pleasant discussion and not get into acrimonious debates.

I am kicking around at the age of 55 to get a MBA or even just take some business courses to get into direct management. I've applied for management positions but my manager's manager said I'm in the Catch-22 situation that I don't have the experience to get the job but how do you GET the experience for the job.

How did you make that jump?

RJS330 said that he leads a business team and had mentioned some different authors. What other resources do you recommend to make that jump into middle management?

Forgive as God Forgives

As those who profess faith in Jesus Christ, the way we live should not be as it was before we believed in Jesus. We should not live like the ungodly, giving ourselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. That is not how we should have been taught the truth that is in Christ Jesus. We should have been taught that we are to die with Christ to sin and to live to him and to his righteousness, in obedience to his commands (New Covenant), all in his power and wisdom and strength, and for his glory.

Ephesians 4:25-27 ESV

“Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.”

So, lying should never be our practice. Truth telling should be our practice. We should not even tell what some people call “white lies.” And we should not give people false impressions, which is still lying, nor should we withhold from them the truth that is due them (that is owed them). And we should not mislead them in any way nor tell lies to cover for secret sins. Now this doesn’t mean we tell everyone everything we know, but it means we are not being deceptive, but that the words we speak are the truth that we know.

Some anger can be righteous anger, like the anger God has, but even there we should not sin in our anger. We should not do what is wrong just because we are angry, even if we are angry for the right reasons. And some anger is rooted in sin, because it stems from hearts which are bitter, unforgiving, hateful, prideful and resentful. So the anger itself is sinful. But anger can be a natural human emotion given to us by God to move us to some type of action, and there, again, we must not sin in our anger.

Ephesians 4:28 ESV

“Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.”

We are not to take from other people what is theirs and which is not ours to have, because they have not offered it to us nor given us permission to take it. And this isn’t just about stealing things, like material possessions, but you can take from someone his dignity, or steal from him his joy by being mean and hateful. And you steal someone’s spouse from him via extra-marital affairs. And you can steal from him his honor and his reputation if you slander him and falsely accuse him of wrongdoing.

Instead we are to be people who are generous and who give to other people’s needs, even sometimes at our own expense, i.e. via self-sacrifice in giving to them what we may have wanted for ourselves. We should not be stingy people, for we only have what we have by the grace of God and it can all go away in an instant. Yet, we need to exercise wisdom in this for there are many con artists out there ready to cheat us and steal from us. And they are very skilled at manipulation and appealing to your compassion.

Ephesians 4:29-30 ESV

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

We are not to be people who speak what is foul, immoral, vulgar, crude, dishonest, crooked, perverted, and the like. We should not be given over to off-color and inappropriate humor or similar conversations of any kind. We should not be people who use cuss words, especially not to use the name of God or the name of Jesus as a swear word, and not to dishonor God/Jesus Christ. If we use the Lord’s name in conversation, let it be because we are literally sharing the gospel and speaking of God’s divine character and will.

Instead, we are to be those who speak the truth in love, one to the other, and who encourage (exhort, holy urge) one another in our walks of faith in holiness and righteousness. And we should be those who give out godly counsel to help others to walk faithfully to the Lord and to not go astray. For when we live or when we speak what is contrary to the will of God, and that which is evil in God’s sight, yet while we profess faith in Christ, that grieves the Holy Spirit, like it grieves a person whose spouse is being unfaithful.

Ephesians 4:31-32 ESV

“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

No matter what other people do to us, no matter how badly they hurt us or damage our reputations or are mean and cruel to us, we must love them in return, and we must forgive them. For we are to love even our enemies, and we are to pray for them and do good to them and speak what is beneficial to them and not evil. Now forgiveness means we refuse to get even with them and we continue to show them love. But forgiveness is not permission for them to keep on sinning, for Jesus’ forgiveness is not permission to sin.

And we must guard our hearts against bitterness and wrath and anger, but we can confront others with their sins against us, and the Scriptures teach that we are to do so, but first make sure they really did sin against you, for sometimes we get things wrong. And biblically we can withdraw from fellowship with those who profess Christ but who are still living in deliberate and habitual sin without true repentance. But we should not do so out of bitterness, but with the goal to hopefully move them towards repentance.

Walking daily with my Savior
brings me joy.
Loving Father; precious Jesus;
He’s my Savior and my Lord.
Gently leads me; follow Him.
I’ve invited Him within.
Now abiding in His presence,
oh, what peace.
From my self-life
He has brought me,
By His mercy, full release.

Hope and comfort,
peace and safety Jesus brings
When I daily bow before Him;
Obey freely; do His will.
Follow Him where’er He leads.
Listen to Him; His words heed.
Now obeying his words fully,
oh, what love
That He gives me
through salvation,
By His Spirit, from above.

Loving Father; precious Jesus,
He’s my friend.
With my Savior, by His Spirit,
I will endure to the end.
Share the gospel, tell what’s true.
Witness daily; His will do.
Tell the world of how their Savior
bled and died.
On a cruel cross He suffered
So that we might be alive.

Woke Massachusetts college bans use of the word “field”

Since we all know farms, lawns and sports grounds harbor racist sentiments:

Massachusetts college program ends the use of the word ‘field': 'May hold negative associations'

Seriously, how much more of this woke insanity are we to be subjected to? It makes the absurd heights of political correctness attained in the 1990s look like a bastion of sanity. But at least the 1990s were followed by the relative reduction of insane political correctness during the early 2000s.

Ezekiel 44:15-31 and Luke 5:1-6:49

EZEKIEL 44:15-31

In this prophetic book, the Prophet sees into the future, the future priests of the third temple, (to be built in the near future) the descendants of “Zadok” will be the priests in the millennium, the same high standards are for these priests as well. It also states the job of the priest: “And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean” This should also be the goal of every Torah teacher, rabbi, minister, pastor, etc. to teach the WHOLE TORAH in their place of worship and study so that their sheep might follow their shepherd wholeheartedly and secure.

LUKE 5:1-6:49

Yeshua speaks to the people, from a boat. After teaching, He and Kefa go out a way out on the lake and the result is a boat-load of fish. Kefa hears, yet protests, “We fished all night and caught nothing” yet still obeys and “reaps the harvest” many fish, to take home to sell and eat.

In the other incident when Yeshua caused his talmidim to catch a boatload of fish, the number of fish caught summed “153.” Why is this number recorded? Is it significant? Perhaps Yeshua is making a statement through the fish caught. The statement in Hebrew “Ani Elohim” ( I AM Elohim) sums “153” in gematria (using the “vav” in “Elohim”)

With simple obedience through faith, we can all reap the blessings that YHVH has in store for us. A little bit of faith, trust, and obedience, will bring in a big catch. Now, Kefa is promoted to be a “fisher-of-MEN” rescuing men’s souls from the grasp of HaSatan and bringing them into the Kingdom. Are you a fisher of men (and women) or are you still content with the small “fishy” things of life? You decide!

Yeshua also, after the blessing of many fish, healed three people; one who had “Tzara ’at” (some sort of skin disease) a person who was paralyzed, and a person who was “worldly-minded.” To the first He said; “be cleansed” To the second one He said; “Your sins are forgiven you” To the third, (Who was Matthew) He just said; “Follow me!”

In all three cases, we have changed lives. When our sins are forgiven us, through repentance and accepting Yeshua as Messiah and LORD, we are “cleansed” (internally) and even at times, physically. And then, we “follow Him” which should be the logical reaction.

“I have not called the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32) We must understand that everyone who is “righteous” (in right standing) similar to “Kadosh” was at one time “a sinner” (living a lifestyle of sin and rebellion). So, it is a change for the better, from a lost sinner to a “righteous” one who has been “born again.” The lost sinner needs to be instructed by the Torah unto righteousness, and the righteous need to be instructed by the Torah to “stay guided in the Path of Righteousness”

What is the healing that God offers? It is the healing of our soul, from being lost without hope, to being saved, secure, forever. From sadness to gladness, from grief and despair to joy and happiness

He even heals our physical bodies at times. The words “Save me and I shall be saved” in Hebrew, contain the letters that spell out “Yeshuah” (Salvation is from YAH) The word “my praise” in Hebrew is “Tehilati” if we look at the paleo-Hebrew symbolic meanings of those letters we can understand this word as “behold the covenant of instruction and of the hand.” The Instruction being the Torah itself and the “hand” of course the “Hand of God” who stretched out the same on Calvary’s Cross to redeem us all from the curse of sin.

Was Ruth's deceased husband a Levite?

Ruth 1:2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.

Mark 2:26 How he(David) went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

According to Jewish tradition, the first child of Boaz and Ruth should belong to Ruth's deceased husband. So David was the king's priest?

THE FULFILLMENT OF DANIEL 7, Part 1 of 3

THE FULFILLMENT OF DANIEL 7, Part 1 of 3

While I was reading Dan.7 Jesus revealed to me that the four beasts in Dan. 7 are those waring people known by the man who led them.

Dan.7:17 states the four beasts Daniel saw are those known by the man who led them on their crusades.

Dan.7:17 ‘These great beasts, which are four in number, are four kings who will arise from the earth.

The fourth beast, which is the Antichrist led beast, helps us imagine the kind of kings who could qualify as the fulfillment of the remaining three kings that precede the Antichrist led beast.

Jesus did not tell me the names of these kings or that I could figure it out. I simply took a look into world history and found that Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Hitler and the Antichrist fit the criteria of being known by the men who led these beasts.

Below is what I found when I looked into how Alexander the Great most likely fulfilled the Lion with the wings that were plucked, and given a mind.

HOW ALEXANDER THE GREAT COULD HAVE FULFILLED THE LION DESCRIBED IN DAN. 7:4

The historical notes below taken from “The Annals of the World” demonstrate that Alexander the Great fulfilled the Lion described in Dan. 7:4 when they point out how he dealt with those that did not surrender to him when he entered into their countries and approached their cities. Dan 7:4 “The first was like a lion and had the wings of an eagle. I kept looking until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man; a human mind also was given to it.

Thebes

1711. Alexander laid Thebes in Boeotia level with the ground, (Diod. year 2. Olymp. 111.) in October which was the time when the "Mysteries" were kept in Athens. They did not observe that holy solemnity that year because of what happened. (Plut. in Alexan. and Arrian. l. 1.) 90,000 men in Thebes were killed and 30,000 were sold for slaves. All went to ruin except only the houses of the priests, his father Philip's friends and Pindarus the poet. (Elian. Varia. Histor. l. 13. c. 7.)

Tyre

1787. All of Syria and Phoenicia except Tyre were under Alexander's control. Alexander and his camp were on the

continent. Between him and Tyre was a narrow channel of the sea. The Tyrians had sent a very massive crown of gold to him for a present and congratulated him for his great success. They sent him many provisions from their city. He received their presents as he would from good friends. He used many gracious and friendly words to them expressing his great desire to see their city and to sacrifice to Hercules. They told him that there was an alter in Palaetyrus or Old Tyre in the continent near by and that it would be better to offer sacrifice to Hercules on that one since it was the older of the two altars. When he heard this he was so enraged that he vowed to destroy their city. It happened that at the same time there came certain select men from Carthage to perform a yearly sacrifice to Hercules. The Tyrians were the founders of Carthage and the Carthaginians had honoured them as the father of their city. These men exhorted them to hold out and to endure the siege like men. They assured them of speedy supplies and aid from Carthage for at that time the Carthaginians, were a very strong naval power. (Curt. l. 4. c. 5, 6. Justin. l. 11. c. 10.)

1788. Thus Tyre was resolved for a war and they endured a 7 month siege. (Diod. Sic. year 1. Olymp. 112. Josephus Antiq. l. 11. c. 8. Curt. l. 4. c. 15. Plutarch in Alexander.) Their king Azelmious was absent at sea. He left Autophradates, his son behind him in the city. (Arrian. l. 4.) Alexander levelled Palaetyrus or old Tyre to the ground. He sent for all the men in the surrounding country to come and help his men throw the stones and rubbish of the entire city into the channel that ran between the two cities. He made a causeway of half a mile long over to Tyre from the old city according to Diodorus. Curtius, (l. 4. c. 5.) agrees with him. Pliny (l. 5. c. 19) said it was 700 paces long. (Diod. Sic. year

1. Olymp. 112., Curt. l. 4. c. 8.)

1804. Arrian states that there were 8000 of the inhabitants killed. Curtius says that after the battle 2000 more were hung up all along the shore. Diodorus states that Alexander hanged 2000 young men all in their prime. Justin says that in remembrance of the old slaughter the inhabitants had made, he had all that were captured, crucified. He put them to a death befitting a slave because the Tyrian slaves had made a conspiracy against their own masters and had murdered all the freemen of that city with their own masters. They set up their own government and killed everyone except Strato an old man and his son. On him and his posterity, they established the kingdom.

1806. (This means perhaps Ballonymus, whom Diodorus confounds with Abdolominus, whom Alexander made king of the Sidonians a short time earlier.)
``Alexander left the city to be repopulated by its innocent and harmless inhabitants. When he had abolished that wicked generation of slaves, he hoped to be considered the founder of a new and better people there.

Gaza

1818. According to Josephus, the name of the captain of the garrison at Gaza was Babemeses, or according to Curtius and Arrian, Batis an Eunuch. He was very loyal to his king:. He hired some Arabian mercenaries and made good provision of food and other things. He defended the walls, which were very strong with a small company of men.

1819. Alexander received two wounds at this siege. When Batis was taken alive, Alexander had cords or thongs drawn through his ankles and tied him to a chariot. He was dragged around the city. In that siege 10,000 Persians and Arabians died. The Macedonians also lost men. (Curt. l. 4. c. 10.) Alexander sold all the women and children there for slaves. He repopulated the place with inhabitants from the neighbouring parts and made that the location of his garrison. (Arrian. l. 2. in fin.) Those words of Strabo are not easily understood unless they refer to the former state of that city. He states: {*Strabo, l. 16. 7:277} ``Gaza which was formerly a glorious city, was destroyed by Alexander and remained desolate.

Cyropolis

1996. When Alexander heard of this, he attacked the city of Gaza and sent Craterus against Cyropolis. When he had taken Gaza, he slew all that were of age in it. The women and children were sold into slavery and the city was destroyed. This was to be an example to others. He took 4 other cities in those parts within 2 days and treated them in the same manner. After this he marched away to Cyropolis. 18,000 men had fled there because the place was well fortified and a good refuge. In that siege he both lost the bravest and best men of his army and he was in extreme danger. He took such a blow in the neck with a stone that his eyes were dazzled and he fell and lost his senses for the present. However he was of an invincible courage against such casualties that would daunt other men. Although his wound was not yet thoroughly healed, he assaulted it more fiercely than before. His anger spurred on his natural fighting abilities. When the city was first taken, 8000 of the enemy were killed. The rest fled into the citadel. When Alexander had besieged it for only one day, they surrendered for lack of water.
1997. Alexander ordered Cyropolis to be levelled to the ground. Of 7 cities which the natives had fortified for themselves, there remained now only one to be taken. He took it on the very first assault. However, Ptolemy says, it Annals of the World/Age6d 46 surrendered to him. Aristobulus says, that the men taken in it were distributed in the army and kept bound until Alexander left that country. This would leave none behind who had a hand in that revolt.

Oxi
3676a AM, 4385 JP, 329 BC

2014. Arimazes of Sogdiana with a 30,000 man army climbed to the top of a high rock called Oxi by Strabo. They made provision for a 3 year seige. This rock was about 3.75 miles high and 19 miles in circumference. Alexander made generous promises to 300 gallant young lads who volunteered to climb the rock. Using cramp-irons where needed, they were able to slowly climb the rock. 32 died in the attempt. They either slipped or the rock broke from under them. The Sogdians were astonished as if by a miracle, to see that men had gotten up there. They thought there were more coming who were better armed then they were, so they surrendered. Arimazes their leader was quite afraid. He and the chief men of the country, came down to the king in his camp. Alexander had them well whipped and later crucified at the base of the hill. He distributed the rest for slaves among the new cities which he had built with the money he had taken from them. Arabazus was left to keep the Sogdians and the neighbouring countries under subjection. (Curt. l. 7. c. ult. & Polyanus Stratag. l. 5. in Alexander n. 29.)

Aspians

2050. Alexander, with his troop of silver targeteers, the cavalry of his fellow cavaliers, Hephaestion with the troop of those who were called Assateri, his archers, Agrians and javelin man, marched into the country of the Aspians, Thyraeans and Arasocans. He journeyed to the Choes River. This way was mostly mountainous and rocky. When he crossed that river, he commanded Craterus to come after him with the foot soldiers. He took the whole body of his cavalry and 800 Macedonians, targeteers on horseback and marched quickly away. He had heard that the people of that country had fled, some to the mountains and others to fortified cities. They all planned to fight with him.

2051. Those who came to oppose him, Alexander easily routed and drove them back into the town by the way they came out. He easily defeated the townsmen, who stood all in battle array before their walls and made them take refuge within their walls again. Craterus came with the foot soldiers. Therefore to strike the greatest terror into the minds of a nation which did not know what manner of men the Macedonians were, he ordered the army to spare no life. They set fire to the outer works which they had made. As Alexander rode about the walls, an arrow wounded him through his armour into the shoulder but it was a minor wound. Ptolemy and Leonatas were both wounded at the same time. Then Alexander saw a place where the wall was the weakest. He pitched his camp against it. Early the next day in the morning, he easily took the outer wall which was of no great strength. At the inner wall, the inhabitants made some resistance. When the Macedonians had scaled the walls and the townsmen felt the arrows showering down upon them, the soldiers within broke out of the gates and ran every which way to the nearby mountains. Many of them escaped and saved themselves there. The Macedonians followed them and overtook and slew the greater number of them. The townsmen that were left behind, were all killed and the city levelled to the ground.

Agalassians

2141. The Agalassians opposed him with 4000 foot soldiers and 3000 cavalry on the bank of a river. He crossed the river and quickly routed them after killing most of them. The rest ran into the towns. When he had captured them, he slew those who were of age and sold the rest for slaves.

2142. Other inhabitants there took up arms also and about 20,000 gathered together into one city. He broke into the city by pure force. When they barricaded their streets and fought on them from the battlements of their houses, he was forced to retire and left many of his Macedonians dead behind him. Therefore in a rage he set fire to the houses and burnt both the city and most of the people in it with fire. When 3000 who had fled into the citadel sued for pardon, he gave it to them.

Mallians

2155. When Alexander had rested and refreshed himself and his army, he marched at the first watch of the night. At day break, they came to the Hydraotes River where he found that many of the Mallians had already crossed. He attacked and killed the rest that were crossing the river. Then he crossed the river with his army and overtook those that had crossed earlier. He killed many of them and took others prisoner. However, most of them escaped into a well fortified city.

2156. When his foot soldiers came up, Alexander sent Python against them with his own and two other regiments of cavalry. On the first attack, he chased them into the town and took it. All those who were not killed, were made slaves. After this Python returned to the camp.

2157. Alexander led his army against a city of the Brachmanni where he understood more of the Mallians had fled. As soon as he came, he besieged it all around with his squadrons very heavily. The soldiers immediately left the walls and fled to the citadels. When this was captured, some of the inhabitants, set their own houses on fire and threw themselves into it. Others died fighting. About 5000 perished and few were captured alive.

2186. From there he sailed with his archers, Agrians and all the cavalry which he had on board, he came to another country of the Indians, called Praestans. He marched against their king Porticanus or Oxycanus because the king did not come to meet him neither did he send ambassadors to him. Alexander captured two of the largest cities in the kingdom. Porticanus was in one of them which Alexander took on the 3rd day of his siege. Porticanus fled into the citadel and sent ambassadors to treat for conditions. Before they came to Alexander, two great pieces of the wall fell flat down to the ground. Through these breaches the Macedonians rushed into the citadel. Porticanus, with those few who were with him stood on their guard. They were all killed and the citadel was pulled down. All in the town were sold for slaves. Its spoil was given to the soldiers. Alexander kept only the elephants for himself.

Brachmanes

2188. After this, Alexander entered the country of the Brachmanes where Sambus or Sabus or Samus according to Curtius, or Sabbas according to Plutarch, or Ambigerus according to Justin, or Ambiras, according to Orosius, was king. When he heard that Alexander was coming, he fled. When Alexander came near his main city called Sindomana or Sindonalia, he found the gates open wide for him. and Sambus' servants came to meet him with presents of money and elephants. They told him that Sambus was fled not from any hostility to him. He feared Musicanus whom Alexander had let go and pardoned and they were enemies.

2189. Alexander took in this and many other places. He went and by force and took another city which had revolted from him and put to death many of the Brachmanes who caused the revolt. For by their instigation, Sambus, who had but recently submitted to him and the cities of his kingdom had revolted from him. Curtius says that Alexander took the city by undermining the wall and that the natives stood amazed to see men rise from the ground in the middle of the city.

2190. Clitarchus as by Curtius, says that there were 8000 or rather (as Diodorus with others have it) 80000 men slain in that country. A large number were sold for slaves. The Brachmanes brought these disasters on themselves. The rest who simply submitted to him and asked for his pardon were not harmed. King Sambus saved himself and got away as far as he could with 30 elephants.

Giant Spiders

Last night, I had a dream that started with me in an underground fight club somewhere in Hong Kong. It turns out, I am one of the fighters and a rookie one at that.

So they paired me with a much more experienced fighter to fight as a team against someone or something. Then they opened this door for the opposing fighter and out came a huge spider the size of an SUV!:sick::sick:. The spider looked like a tarantula or a jumping spider, only gigantic in size. We picked our weapons. My partner had a pair of swords while I took a pair of dining forks!:doh:

I have arachnophobia in real life and somehow remembered it in my dream and yet, I felt calm and relaxed for some strange reason. The spider did not try to attack us right away but proceeded towards a very dimly lit tunnel in the fighting arena. It turns out spiders, prefer to ambush their prey and in order to have the element of surprise, it went somewhere to hide.

But the huge spider didn't just hide. It tried to get out of the arena, and into the spectator area as we would realize later on. We lost sight of the spider so the veteran fighter went ahead of me while I stuck to his back scanning the area behind him so we both have 360 degrees of situational awareness.

We can hear the spider moving around but have totally lost sight of it and realized we are now clearly in a disadvantaged position and in mortal danger so we decide to withdraw and get out of the arena. As soon as we got out, we saw the spider's shadow and already made its way to the spectator area. We hurried to the building exit and as soon as we got out, the door shut itself behind us.

Now out in the street, we saw hundred of giant spiders moving towards the fight club building. Much smaller than the SUV-sized spider we tried to fight earlier, and they were 4 to 6 feet across. Still gigantic size by any means imaginable. So me and the vet fighter went inside one of the parked minivans to hide inside. We chose one with curtains on it so the spiders won't be able to see us.

Unfortunately two of the spiders managed to open the window of car we're hiding in. How they were able to do that, I don't know! They checked to see if we're really dead (we're playing dead at that point).

Surprisingly, I can hear one of the giant spiders speak or at least I can read its thoughts telepathically. It sounded like a little girl and talking to the other spider to check if we're really dead. Then they decided to stay inside the van for a while with us in there playing dead.

The two spiders then proceeded to snack on something that looked like pretzels, smelled like pretzels, and sounded like pretzels when they chewed on it. I was so hungry at that time and couldn't resist the sight of them snacking so got up and I asked them if they have any more of that pretzels. The two spiders freaked out and I tried to calm them down and told them I'm not going to hurt them, I just want some of the pretzels they're eating. It's funny because they look like they can do far more harm to me than I can do them!

And so the spider who speaks like a little girl in thoughts gave me one of her pretzels and then suddenly both spiders transformed into two little children! The little girl began talking to me. She told me the SUV-sized spider we were made to fight earlier is their mom. She told me that she and her hoard of spiders are now heading towards USA. For what reason she didn't tell me but I can only assume the purpose is to cause mayhem and chaos.

We all got out of the minivan including the two spider-children. and found the fight club building and surrounding areas deserted. All the spiders are gone too expect for the two child-spiders in human child form. The girl kept on talking with me and both of them seems quite fond and comfortable with me.

Not soon after, their mom returned alone and in human form as well in the form of a mature lady, who looks 60 years of age and wearing a Kimono. She looked worn out and weak. She took my hand and asked that I walk with her so she can talk to me in private. She told me she is sick. She did not really went to USA but went instead to her doctor in Japan. I presume a real human doctor NOT a spider doctor, nor a veterinarian.

How was she able travel between Hong Kong and Japan at incredible speeds, I don't know!

It appears she lied to her children to conceal the purpose of her trip which is to visit her doctor. She found she had problems with her kidneys and her brain. We didn't get the chance to get into the details but it sounds like she doesn't have a lot of time left and wants to leave her children under my care.

And that everything that happened seemed to be a test. She was testing me. The children clearly possessed supernatural abilities and their mom even more.

It was a very interesting dream nonetheless. Quite an adventure really.

Normally, this dream could have easily turned into a nightmare with all the giant-sized spiders around and the fact I have arachnophobia. But somehow, I remained calm throughout the ordeal. I think my curiosity witnessing an incredible creature drowned all my fears away. But to the dream's credit, the spiders weren't so menacing in appearance. They have plump bodies and looked almost cute like a mangy dog. In fact, they do have mangy hairs covering their whole bodies and kinda looked like this spider except, at least the size of a full grown man!

images
Glad I didn't let fear get hold of me, otherwise I'd never known they prefer eating pretzels than people!

I think this dream is related to scriptures like John 21:17. Jesus said to Peter, "If you love me, feed my sheep". It's the same thing as "Feed my children" or "Take care of my children".

The actual meaning is "speak to them about the truth" or "preach them the truth". Speak to them about the Kingdom of God. Not just some religious dogmas or doctrines people just keep on mindlessly repeating.

THE FULFILLMENT OF DANIEL 7, Part 3 of 3

THE FULFILLMENT OF DANIEL 7, Part 3 of 3

HOW ALEXANDER THE GREAT COULD HAVE FULFILLED HAVING HIS WINGS PLUCKED

If Alexander the Great had believed in the one true God Who according to note 1713 below appeared to him in a vision as a Jewish Levitical Priest and told him that he would be successful in his campaigns in Asia against the Persian Empire, he would not have not have set his sites to go beyond these boundaries, which the historical records show he endeavored to do so.

However Alexander the Greats’ desire to conquer beyond these boundaries contribute to the fulfillment of his wings being plucked when, as described below in notes 2117 - 2120 and 2146 - 2147 when his entire military refused to continue fighting and would not continue any further into India. These records also show that Alexander reasoned as a man when he took into consideration that his army had been warring with him continuously for 8 continuous years.

Dan 7:4 “The first was like a lion and had the wings of an eagle. I kept looking until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man; a human mind also was given to it.

1713. When he returned to Dios a town in Macedonia, (Arrian. l. 1. p. 11.) all his thoughts were upon the conquest of Asia. In his sleep the likeness of the High Priest of Jerusalem appeared to him, who bade him be courageous and bold. He was to quickly enter Asia with his army and that he would conduct his armies in the conquest of the Persian Empire. (Josephus, Antiquit. l. 11. c. 8. s. 5.)

2117. On the 3rd day he departed from there and came to the Hyphasis or Hypanis River. It is almost a mile wide and 36 feet deep. It was very rocky under water and quite difficult to cross. Phegeus told him what he wanted to know about the other side of the river. There was a vast desert of 11 or 12 days journey to cross bounded by the Ganges River. It was the largest in all of India. Beyond the river lived various peoples. The people there were the Gaugaridae or Gongaridae and Prasians or Praendians, or Praesiaeans, or Pharrasians, or Tabraesians, for they are all known by these different names. Their King was called Agrammes. (Diod. Sic. calls him Xagrames,) He had an army of 20,000 cavalry, 200,000 foot soldiers, 2000 chariots and 3000 or (as Diodorus says) 4000 elephants, all trained and equipped for war.

2118. These things seemed incredible to Alexander. When he had questioned Porus further, Porus told him that the force and power of that king and kingdom was indeed very great and no less than what he was told. However the current king was of ignoble birth and no better than a poor barber's son. He was hated and scorned by his subjects. Androcottus, who was then but a youth and had not only seen Alexander but also for a certain saucy prank played on Alexander, was ordered to be executed. He would have died had he not fled. Justin, (l. 15. c. 4.) tells us that he later said that Alexander almost conquered all of India. The part he missed was of little note since their the king was too wicked, so base, so hated and so much scorned by his people.

2119. Alexander began to reflect that his soldiers were all tired out and spent with the length of the war. Every man began to look for an end of these dangers and for the reward and fruit of all their labours. They had now been 8 whole years (for so long it was since he became king) in a continual perilous war. It happened that for 70 consecutive days, it poured rain accompanied with violent thunderstorms according to Diodorus. Diodorus says that to pacify the soldiers, he gave them permission to plunder a most rich and bountiful country of the enemies and to take all to themselves. While they were busy at this, he called together their wives and children and made there a law that the wives would receive their monthly allowance in grain and their children the same wages that their fathers did.

2120. When the soldiers were returned home laden with wealth and riches, the king called them all together. He made a prepared speech to request them to accompany him cheerfully to the conquest of the Gangaridae. Caenus the son of Polemocrates replied in the name of the whole army and concluded that they all desired an end of the war. The Macedonians would not listen to Alexander's request. Ptolemy reports that he went on and offered sacrifices for the crossing of the river. When the entrails portended all direful things if he proceeded, he called together his friends and such as were the oldest and most intimate with him. He told them first and afterward declared to all the army that since all things seemed to be against his going any farther, he was now content and resolved to return home.

2146. The countries of the Oxydracans and Mallians lie between the place where the Hydaspes River joins the Acesines River and they both flow into the Indus River. (Arrian. in his India, p 171.) These were usually at war with each other but now united against their common enemy, Alexander. To further secure their alliance, they gave 10,000 virgins to each other to intermarry. They had 80,000 foot soldiers and 10,000 cavalry besides 700 chariots. Curtius says 900. Justin (l. 12. c. 9.) and Orosius (l. 3. c. 19.) call these people the Mandri or Ambri and Sabracans or Subagrans or Sugambrians. By all these names, the Malli and Oxydracans (who in Diodorus are incorrectly written Syracusions) in various editions go. They had 60,000 cavalry.

2147. The Macedonians thought they were past all danger and looked for an end of the fighting business. When they saw themselves engaged in a new war with more fierce and warlike countries than they had before in any part of India, they were terrified. They began again to murmur and rebel against Alexander. Alexander pacified them with a good speech and made all well again.

Alexander the Great gave up his crusades and died from an illness in Babylon, which is in present day Iraq.

This is the extent of my research into the possible fulfillment of the beasts in Dan. 7.

NBC--Biden admin to allow for the release of some migrants into the U.S. with no way to track them

After more than 11,000 migrants were caught crossing the southern border on Tuesday, the Biden administration is now preparing a memo that will direct Customs and Border Protection to begin releasing migrants into the U.S. without court dates or the ability to track them, according to three sources familiar with the plans.

The Bidens pocketed $1M from ‘corrupt’ Romanian oligarch just as VP Joe lectured country on ethics

“I want to be clear: This committee is investigating President Biden and his family’s shady business deals that capitalize on Joe Biden’s public office and risked our country’s national security … We believe that the president has been involved in this from the very beginning, obviously,” Comer said.

“It would be hard for me to believe that Hunter Biden was so charismatic that he could convince foreign nationals to wire millions of dollars into not just his account but eight of his family members’ accounts,” he added. “We believe that there was a return on the investment.”

. . .
Comer concluded the press conference by identifying nine Biden family members who allegedly got foreign funds.

The unidentified Biden account or accounts that received the Romanian proceeds got $80,000 over four transactions, the memo said.
Hunter Biden received payments from a Romanian source while Joe was VP and Joe was directly involved in policy making with Romania. And what in the world did Joe's grandchild do to earn money from a foreign source?

Scared of the unpardonable sin.

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out tonight because for the last week I’ve been in downright dispair, absolute torture. And I’ve been so scared I haven’t posted here because I’ve been scared of being an apostate. For those of you who know,
I have this awful fear of being an apostate.well in my past couple months Ive had willful thoughts or perhaps somehow intrusive that was mixed with emotions, but fearfully have to confess having willful R———- thoughts, but after they passed I went into downright dispair and panic, repenting and begging for forgiveness.I hate these thoughts and am scared senseless of them.

Would an apostate still pray or be concerned?,absolutely not,I know that,I’ve still obeyed Jesus, remained to love him, continued to walk with him, hate sin, carry my cross, and more.Do I reject Jesus?,absolutely NOT,so I not believe in him?, absolutely not, would I ever leave him?,NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER.My sanity as I know it is around faith,if I don’t have a relationship with Jesus,I’d lose my sanity.that’s how important he is to me.I’m not making excuses, but what’s down-spiraled me into such anxiety is I keep feeling condemned and hurt,I hurt so bad I though those awful things,I hurt thag the one I love so much I had horrible thoughts like that,I keep feeling condemned,I keep feeling like Jesus doesn’t forgive me.

I’ve been so scared about this, and I’m not scared because of hell, but because I’m scared I’ve broken my relationship with Jesus, and I’m so sad I hurt him by those things.I’ve repented countless times and begged and pleaded with tears and sobbing for forgiveness.I can’t feel any desire for repentance or restoration but I ask nevertheless out of my will. All I want in this life is to be a child of God,to be with him,and I’m scared he won’t forgive me.I want him so badly.I can’t live without him,I’m so scared.I’m starting to think it’s the devil tormenting me.but I’ll never give up on Jesus,I care for him far too much. Please pray for me,I don’t wAnt to be condemned, and I want to be a child of him.I don’t want to not be loved by him,and I don’t want to sin because I love him.I’ve seen sanctification in my life, and I believe I’m producing the fruits of kindness,Goodness, gentleness, love, and self control.I’m just sad I thought those horrible things and I’m sad at the possibility of hurting the fathers feelings.

This panic began when I was convinced of those thoughts and I immediately started sobbing and crying for forgiveness, repenting and begging the lord to forgive me.Then it manifested into different things, and it’s hindered my abilities at work.

‘Trump was great at this’: How conservatives transformed a [tiny] Colorado school district

A new school board quickly enacted its agenda in Woodland Park. Now teachers are leaving and the board faces growing opposition, including from lifelong GOP voters.

Woodland Park, a small mountain town that overlooks Pikes Peak, became the first — and, so far, only — district in the country to adopt the American Birthright social studies standard, created by a right-wing advocacy group that warns of the “steady whittling away of American liberty.”

The board approved the community’s first charter school without public notice and gave the charter a third of the middle school building.

As teachers, students and parents began protesting these decisions, the administration barred employees from discussing the district on social media. At least two staff members who objected to the board’s decisions were later forced out of their jobs, while another was firedfor allegedly encouraging protests.

The school board’s decisions have won some praise in heavily Republican Teller County, but opposition is growing, including from conservative Christians and lifelong GOP voters who say the board has made too many ill-advised decisions and lacks transparency.

American Birthright materials emphasize patriotism, argue that the federal government should have no authority over public schools and say teachers should not encourage civic engagement, such as registering to vote or petitioning local lawmakers on issues students care about.

It is terribly important to be a disengaged citizen, and indeed, a disengaged student,” said David Randall, research director at the National Association of Scholars, a conservative organization that created the standards last year.

[Can anyone explain this standpoint? Patriotic, but disengaged from democracy? The only thing that comes to mind is simply an attempt to discourage young people from voting.]

The Colorado State Board of Education rejected American Birthright in October. The National Council for the Social Studies, a professional trade group for educators, issued a rare warning against using it.

“They’re trying to push a certain agenda down to these kids,” Amy Schommer, a mother in Woodland Park, said of the school board’s adoption of American Birthright. “I’m a conservative but I’m not against my kids learning something they disagree with. They’re trying to fix problems that don’t exist here.”

The teachers had heard that Witt was questioning the need for mental health support for students, and they were worried.

Staff members tried to explain why it was critical to address students’ emotional issues so that they could learn. One employee mentioned recent familial homicides in the community as an example of the kind of trauma children are facing, including a murder-suicide that left a student dead.

Witt asked if the school had a social worker. The employee replied affirmatively, and then Witt asked, “Did the murder-suicide still occur?” Several people in the room gasped.

Being a Godly Example

Video Talk

Paul, along with Silvanus (Silas) and Timothy, wrote this letter to the believers in Jesus Christ in Thessalonica. And as we read this first chapter together, I would like for us to imagine the letter is being written to us, and for us to consider how much of this might be applied to our lives today.

1 Thessalonians 1:2-10 ESV

“We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake. And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia. For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything. For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.”

Now, all this is not going to apply to us specifically, but I see maybe four or five main points here which describe the kind of character we should have as followers of Jesus Christ. So, as we read this we should ask the Lord to show us what applies to our lives and where we need to change.

Labor of Love

We, as followers of Jesus Christ, should be those of strong faith in our Lord, who have died with him to sin and who are living to him and to his righteousness, in daily practice. And we should be doing the works of God which he prepared in advance that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10). We should be laboring for the Lord, doing the work he has called us to do, and doing so in steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus. For we should see that we now belong to Christ and that he is the one directing our lives.

Chosen by God

I love what this says here, how the apostles recognized that these Christians were chosen by God, because they didn’t just accept the gospel in word only, but they were those who were putting the faith of the gospel into practice in their daily lives. They were living what they said they believed, and they were not just mouthing words of faith in the Lord. But this was not a casual thing for them, but they were passionately operating in the power of God and in the Holy Spirit, and with full conviction of truth.

Imitators of Christ

Now, this kind of imitating is not the mocking kind or the kind that is just pretending to be someone else. This means we are literally modeling our lives after Jesus Christ and his life which he lived when he was on the earth. It means we are becoming like him in character via the Lord conforming us to his likeness, as we cooperate fully with God’s work of grace in our lives. And if there are truly godly people in your life, you can follow their example, but be careful, for not many people are surrendered to Jesus Christ.

Sharing the Gospel

These believers in Jesus Christ received the word of God in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Now, if you are serious about your walk with the Lord Jesus, and if you are living holy lives, dedicated to the Lord and to his service, and if you are sharing the truth of the gospel, and if you are exposing the lies, you are going to be afflicted, for you are going to be hated, rejected, and persecuted. But we are to accept that as part of what it means to follow Jesus, and to do so with joy.

And because of their walks of faith, and their willingness to suffer for the sake of the gospel, these people became an example to other believers in Jesus Christ, so they literally modeled what the Christian life should look like. For, not only were they sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, but they were living the gospel. Their lives were surrendered to Christ, they were dying daily to sin and to self, and they were following the Lord Jesus in obedience to his commands (New Covenant).

Turn from Idols to Serve God

And here they modeled the message of the gospel of Christ by how they lived their lives. For they turned away from sin and from idols to serve the living and true God, to do what he commands, and to follow our Lord Jesus wherever he led them, and to say whatever he told them to say. They were not those who were giving lip service only to the Lord, but they were walking the talk. They were living and they were modeling for others what they professed with their lips. All glory and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ!

An Original Work / April 15, 2012

Walking daily with my Savior
brings me joy.
Loving Father; precious Jesus;
He’s my Savior and my Lord.
Gently leads me; follow Him.
I’ve invited Him within.
Now abiding in His presence,
oh, what peace.
From my self-life
He has brought me,
By His mercy, full release.

Hope and comfort,
peace and safety Jesus brings
When I daily bow before Him;
Obey freely; do His will.
Follow Him where’er He leads.
Listen to Him; His words heed.
Now obeying his words fully,
oh, what love
That He gives me
through salvation,
By His Spirit, from above.

Loving Father; precious Jesus,
He’s my friend.
With my Savior, by His Spirit,
I will endure to the end.
Share the gospel, tell what’s true.
Witness daily; His will do.
Tell the world of how their Savior
bled and died.
On a cruel cross He suffered
So that we might be alive.

Cause and Effect?

Something interesting- it makes sense to say that God created time, He is outside time, He is not bound by it! However did God also create cause and effect? I am leaning toward yes as God created all things and is not bound by anything, nothing at all! If God created cause and effect He is not bound by it, God is outside of cause and effect! It is pretty wild to think about this!

Majority Of Employees At Child Migrant Facilities Were Not Vetted For Child Abuse Or Sex Offenses, IG Report Claims

The audit noted a litany of problems that occurred through lax oversight. There was no evidence that FBI fingerprint checks were conducted for 174 out of 229 EIS employees and that while such checks were conducted for 25 employees they failed to conduct such a procedure in a timely manner. Only for 30 employees did such checks occur in a timely manner. Background checks for child abuse and neglect were only conducted in a timely fashion for 9 EIS employees out of 229. For the rest, the vast majority did not have any such check documented. It further noted that the ORR waived its own Child Abuse and Neglect check requirement for 51 employees out of 200.
The whole process is sick and twisted. I can't express my disgust when Mayorkas claimed ignorance on the bracelets, or that the Biden administration lost track of 85,000 children.

Catholic Church: “Don’t Read the Bible!”

We often hear that the Catholic Church has forbidden the reading of the Bible! Have you heard this? Yeah, me too! But, this is another one of those big myths which has worked its way into the popular dialog but one that has not been proved from Church teaching and documents.

There are two good list of quotes from Church documents and leaders of the Church from the early centuries until today.

The second is a list of Catholic Bibles from ancient times that prove the charge against the Catholic Church false, since the Forewords and Prefaces prove that the Catholic Church PROMOTED the reading of Scripture.

Here is the beginning of a long article which gives a TON of information on this topic and proves the Catholic Church has not forbidden the reading of Scripture — but quite the contrary, it has always promoted the reading and study of Scripture by the faithful.

House Speaker McCarthy blocks Democrat "Squad" member from hosting Capitol anti-Israel event

“It’s wrong for members of Congress to traffic in anti-Semitic tropes about Israel,” McCarthy told the Washington Free Beacon. “As long as I’m Speaker, we are going to support Israel’s right to self-determination and self-defense, unequivocally and in a bipartisan fashion.”
Too many people have been silent for too long against efforts to reshape our culture. Racism has no place in America.
