  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Bastille Day

Today is the national festival in France. On July 14, 1789, a crowd of partisans stormed the Bastille in Paris, intending to free political prisoners. Though only 7 low level prisoners were released, the event is celebrated in France as the opening shot of the French Revolution, and the beginning of the end of the Bourbon monarchy, The First Republic of France lasted until 1804, when Napoleon had himself crowned as Emperor. Though the year before, he did agree to sell us the Louisiana Territory. Which nearly doubled the size of the US.

BTW, the First Republic of France battled Austria and Prussia, who were still monarchies. A song intended to inspire the French military in the conflict was very popular. Of course, it was La Marseillaise which became the national anthem. IMO, it is still the best of all national anthems. What other country's anthem mentions cutting throats, and spilling the enemy's blood into the dirt?

Is X a sin?

One of the most common questions I see asked on these forums, and even outside of these forums, is some form of this question is [something or other] a sin?

The reason why these questions are asked are understandable. If, as Christians, we want to be faithful in our obedience to God and our witness to Christ, we desire to abstain from sinful thoughts and behaviors. The Scriptures tell us to seek the way of God, to have the mind of Christ, and to live justly. Sin is failing to do those things. Christ saved us from our sins, we shouldn't let sin reign in our minds, our hearts, or have dominion over our bodies. So, of course, we wouldn't want to do something if it is sinful and wrong.

But the common trend is very often whether something rather harmless or innocuous is a sin. In this sub-forum alone I can see two examples: Is wearing a hat a sin? Is playing video games a sin? These types of questions are extremely common. And, thankfully, most of the answers are, "No, of course not". Though, there are the occasional exceptions, claiming that something is sinful, and usually for some very strange reason. Usually "it's worldly", because there is a massive amount of confusion over worldliness is, and a number of terrible churches and awful preachers have tried to call certain things "worldly" with the intent to control the members of a congregation. My grandmother, as a child, attended a church like this; as such she wasn't allowed to play card games like "Go Fish" because card games were "worldly", because cards were used in some gambling games; she wasn't allowed to drink root beer or other carbonated soft drinks because root beer had the word "beer" in it--again, "worldly" because beer is alcoholic and "bad".

And so many believers are out there struggling with these questions. Their consciences are being shredded with unnecessary guilt because there are those out there, pretending to be pastors, in religious groups pretending to be churches going around trying to control every facet of a person's life. What kinds of clothes they can wear, whether it is okay to listen to music, or watch a movie, or read a book, play a game, what they can eat or drink. All this unnecessary nonsense that isn't important in the slightest.

This is called Moralism. It's a lot like Legalism, except where Legalism is concerned with the Law and is about trying to tell Christians that they need to have their own righteousness by observing God's commandments (regardless of whether or not those commandments are still binding in the New Covenant or not). Moralism takes a step further, and proscribes standards and stipulations entirely unrelated to anything God has ever said.

Moralism is the proscription of laws as though they were from God, but which God Himself has said nothing. The idea that being a Christian means upholding a kind of standard of holiness, but that "holiness" has nothing to do with being holy, but only having an appearance of holiness by following arbitrary man-made rules.

So here's a few guidelines I'd like to offer, a sort of rule of thumb if you will, about whether "X is sinful".

1) What do the Scriptures say? If the answer is nothing, or if the answer is that it only applied in a limited capacity to a specific situation (such as to the Jews as part of the Old Covenant), then the answer is probably no.

2) What is the normative outcome of the thing in question? Does it hurt someone? Will my doing something cause my neighbor to suffer? This can be phrased another way: Is this failing to love my neighbor? Is this hateful toward my neighbor? Is this what I would want someone else to do in regard to me? If the answer to this is that yes, it will hurt my neighbor, it is intrinsically un-loving toward my neighbor, the answer is probably yes. Otherwise the answer is probably no.

3) What is the difference between doing it or not doing it? If the answer is nothing, that there is no real difference, it won't affect me, or affect others, it isn't contrary to God's stated commandments, then it probably isn't sinful.

4) Use your conscience. And let others have their liberty of conscience as well. Maybe you have decided you don't like something, or aren't comfortable with it, perhaps you have your own reasons to avoid or abstain--or instead you feel you are comfortable with it. Perhaps you aren't comfortable eating meat because you view the meat industry as unethical, or you just have an ethical issue with eating animals; or perhaps you are comfortable eating meat. Let you be convinced in your own conscience, and grant your fellow Christian their own liberty of conscience on this matter. That is, after all, what Scripture teaches us to do with such things.

So, is it sinful? If God says it is, then it is. If God says it isn't, it isn't. And if God is silent, then use your God-given empathy, reason, and conscience to make that determination for yourself.

Did Paul sin by declaring himself a Roman citizen?

But when they had stretched him out for the whips, Paul said to the centurion who was standing by, “Is it lawful for you to flog a man who is a Roman citizen and uncondemned?”
Acts 22:25

Might seem like an odd question, but it came to mind yesterday while listening to a teaching on dying to self.

Jesus told His followers: Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. Matthew 5:39

This teaching was talking about Jesus telling His people to deny themselves and take up their cross daily to follow Him (Luke 9:23) and how that looks practically. Basically it's a renunciation of all self and privilege. This individual said it's why Jesus was silent during His trial, and what that means for us is we should no longer look after our rights, or our own self interest. Basically to submit to what may come for God is in control and what may come is ultimately his design.

So just curious, not really meant to be a super serious discussion, but did Paul sin by using his right as a Roman citizen?

Jesus gave himself as a G3083-ransom for many people and G487-ransom for all people

Mark 10:
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
[as] a ransom
λύτρον (lytron)
Strong's 3083: From luo; something to loosen with, i.e. A redemption price.

A different Greek word appears in 1 Timothy 2:
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
[as] a ransom
ἀντίλυτρον (antilytron)
Strong's 487: A ransom. From anti and lutron; a redemption-price.

Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary:
The Greek implies not merely ransom, but a substituted or equivalent ransom: the Greek preposition, "anti," implying reciprocity and vicarious substitution.

What is “a ransom” as it appears in 1 Timothy 2:6?

It is not the usual simple ransom but a vicarious substitutionary ransom.

If a prisoner is in jail and a ransom is paid so that they can go free, what is there to stop them from going free?

Unbelief. He has to believe that Jesus paid the G487-vicarious-ransom for him.

If a ransom has been paid "for all" will not all walk out and go free?

Only if he believes.

Does a ransom paid guarantee freedom?

if he believes.

Biden authorizes Pentagon to deploy 3K reserve troops to Europe in response to Ukraine war

On Thursday, Biden declared that Russian President Vladimir Putin has “already lost” the war and that it’s only a matter of time until he accepts it as a fact.
This is crazy. We have terrorists and criminals coming through our southern border, 80,000 Americans a year dying from fentanyl and Joe is going to send troops to Europe! We saw what Joe and his military leadership did in pulling out of Afghanistan. May God help our nation.

Chrysostom & Justification by Faith Alone

The patriarch Abraham himself before receiving circumcision had been declared righteous on the score of faith alone: before circumcision, the text says, “Abraham believed God, and credit for it brought him to righteousness.”

For those who argue for the omnibenevolence of God…

So the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for the welfare of this people. When they fast, I am not going to listen to their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I am not going to accept them. Rather I am going to make an end of them by the sword, famine and pestilence.”
— Jeremiah 14:11-12

God commanded Jeremiah to not pray for the people. That violates what I’ve seen some argue as God being all-loving.

is it OK to run a "home group" this way?

At home group it is almost all one of couples (either husband or wife attends), plus me, plus a couple older than me.

I've not been offered membership yet which is either because I don't understand the web page wording that I am supposed to send an E-mail assenting to and don't understand discipline (which they don't want to explain), or because I live outside their usual catchment area (someone friendly gives me lifts to the group I'm mentioning as that's not reachable by bus).

The usual host is very, very quiet indeed.

The usual leader is the elderly married man who is deaf. He sits a long way in front of me and to the right. His wife sits some way to the left of me. She asks lots of questions.

Every time I answer I get told by her husband that I am off topic. Personally I think she should be told not to ask questions. Also that they have got to sit next to each other from now on.

The group material is usually a questionnaire on Sunday's reading and sermon, which i find it difficult to follow because i think it leads them to not think out meanings of Scriptures.

For the last few months there have not been any more questionnaires. Also it gets cancelled most weeks. Often I was feeling unwell and on balance didn't want to bother if I am likely to be told I am speaking out of turn.

Shall I ask if there is a different group reachable by bus, or not bother with groups?

At a lovely lunch someone hosted for newcomers, that I went to, there was no mention of membership.

A few years ago, when we had the minister with us, there were always so many takers for those lunches I was twice among those who couldn't be accommodated. The recently arrived assistant is titled assistant pastor and we are hoping for a pastor (or will he be called minister?) after which the assistant will return to his native region. Both he and the old Minister were / are very good and nice men.

The sermons from the minister and assistant were / are good but those from elders, not. The theology of that church is good enough in parts, as long as they are alert enough to care about meanings. I have never signed any document at a church in all my life.

They do seem poor at organising, overall. It's a very good thing I came across them.

There may be a roughly suitable church nearer my home but there is always a long period when they wonder where you have come from and what you are doing there, isn't there?

FTC Chair Khan under fire for allegedly ignoring Congress, wasting taxpayer cash

Federal Trade Commission Chairwoman Lina Khan faced mounting congressional scrutiny Thursday over allegations she has ignored lawmakers and wasted taxpayer money in pursuit of her personal agenda.

The House Judiciary Committee grilled the Biden appointee, whose tenure at the FTC has driven away many employees and all GOP commissioners, amid questions about the politicization of the regulatory agency’s actions.

Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, Ohio Republican, ripped Ms. Khan at the hearing for bypassing Congress and allegedly harassing the social media platform Twitter with requests for information since Elon Musk’s takeover.

Here is the full hearing:

Opening statement:

0:32
thank the gentleman we're getting that today's hearing with uh
0:38
as we normally do with opening statements and then we'll get right to our witness and we appreciate Ms Khan being with us a chair con being with us
0:44
today um at a speech in Berlin in 2022 chair Khan told an audience that the challenges
0:50
facing antitrust today were quote the result of a choice made 40 years ago to
0:56
follow the misguided philosophy of people like Robert Bork in other words according to chair Khan the prevailing view over the last 40 years a bipartisan
1:04
View shared over more than 20 congress's six presidential administrations and adopted and developed by all 50 states in their
1:11
enforcement is now somehow wrong consider that over those 40 years the US economy Grew From about a three trillion
1:17
dollar annual economy to 25 trillion and was the single greatest period of wealth
1:22
creation in human history but everyone who oversaw economic policy for those four decades according to the
1:28
chair was wrong she knows better she's trying to usher in a radical departure from the Norms
1:34
that made the American economy great to a system where her and her cronies have unchecked power over business practices
1:40
in our country untethered from any reasonable reading of precedent or statutory law
1:46
so if you should ask now over the two years into her tenure how has her approach to any trust been playing out
1:52
as she heads one of those critical agencies in our government the short answer is that it's been a
1:59
disaster she's pushed investigations to burden parties with vague and costly demands without any substantive
2:04
follow-through or frankly Logic for the request themselves she centralized the decision making at the commission within
2:10
her office eliminated any pretext of due process or transparency in that decision making
2:16
her approach is best characterized as one of intimidation followed by inaction the best example of this
2:22
which was only brought to light because of our work on the weaponization select committee was her targeted harassment of
2:28
Twitter after miss Mr musk bought the company in following pressure from Democrat Senators left-wing activist
2:35
groups the FTC issued over 350 requests for
2:40
information from Twitter these requests included asking for every communication about Mr musk inside the
2:48
company the most troubling for information about Twitter's work with journalists working to shed light on
2:54
governments on the government-driven censorship practices that existed at and I think in
3:00
some cases still exist at Big Tech in fact we got a great Court decision last week who talked about this how pervasive
3:06
this effort was and a preliminary injunction from that federal court in the Western District of Louisiana just
3:12
this morning though in a filing in federal court we have learned that the situation is actually even worse than we
3:19
could have imagined this wasn't harassment it was a Shakedown the FTC as as his common practice
3:26
pursuant to the consent order required Twitter to hire an independent Assessor
3:31
an independent assessor whose legal obligation is to be truly independent and objective not for one party or
3:39
another well it turns out objectivity was not what the Federal Trade Commission was
3:45
interested in here here's what the filing said about Ernst young the independent assessor hired in
3:51
this matter quote the FTC was so adamant with Ernst young
3:56
conveying that this is absolutely what you will do and this is going to occur and you'll produce a report at the end
4:03
of the day that would be negative about Twitter that senior Ernst young leaders feared
4:09
that if Ernst young resigned as the independent assessor the FTC would take exception
4:15
to their withdrawal and create other challenges for Ernst young over time
4:20
this is not conjecture from Twitter this is from sworn testimony of the independent assessor in the deposition
4:26
itself taken just last month this is outrageous this is unacceptable it's the kind of behavior that occurs in
4:33
banana republics not in the United States of America and so it's no wonder chair Khan has no
4:39
interest in providing information to the people's representatives in the Congress to the people on this committee when we
4:45
ask for it to date the FTC is not fully complied with the single request for documents from this committee and
4:51
because of her mismanagement not even her own staff is impressed with chairman Khan's leadership
4:57
in 2020 the last year under Trump the Trump Administration 87 percent of FTC employees agreed that senior leaders
5:03
maintain high standards under Terror Khan that figure fell to 53 in 2021 is
5:09
declined even further to 49 percent in 2022. in 2020 83 percent of surveyed FTC
5:16
employees agreed that there that they have a high level of respect for the FTC senior leaders again under the chairman
5:22
that figure plummeted to 49 percent and these numbers were before it was revealed recently
5:28
that the chair was advised by ftc's ethics Council to recuse herself from a major case
5:34
she did not recuse herself and then appears to have misled Congress about taking that advice
5:39
we have a lot of questions today to get through we look forward to the response from the chairman of the FTC

Pray my daughter-in-law quits witchcraft.

My son and his family are moving. I went over there to visit before they move. I felt a very negative force surrounding me. Then I looked over at a stack of books--all pertaining to witchcraft, spell casting, etc. I've always felt a negative feeling when I used to visit, but this was stronger.
My granddaughter already says things like "I'm making a spell" when she plays with her toys.
Please pray for deliverance from witchcraft for my DIL and the entire family.
Thanks,

Is this appropriate behaviour for a Christian husband?

The elderly mother of the wife is very ill with pneumonia(Iin serious condition) and taken to hospital and they are running tests to see
what is wrong. Currrently on machines and the Drs don't know if she is going to get through it ok.
And the husband turns to the wife and asks, "How long do you think you are going to be here because I am tired?"
Wife is very worried and on her own.
Husband says, ""l'll go wait in the car because I am very tired. Let me know by text what you are going to do
otherwise I'll go home" I have work tomorrow".
Wife eventually texts him and tells him she doesn't want to leave her mother until they find her mother a room
Husband leaves.
Meanwhile, wife's brother comes and is supporting his sister.
Husband leaves
Wife finds her way home by taxi and gets home at 3am.

Another case
Wife goes into hospital for cornea(eye) transplant.
Husband comes to visit and stays 10 minutes
Wife really needs his support.
She tells her husband, later, "I wish you could have stayed a bit longer
I really needed your support today"

Husband replies
"I couldn't cope and I went away to gamble"

Do you think the husband is non-supportive
or do you think he needs time out and it's ok if he doesn't cope so well.

Will Bidens DOJ Charge And Prosecute Donald J. Trump With Insurrection For Jan 6th, In Final Attempts To Remove Him From His 2024 Presidential Bid?

Trump on Trial: A Model Prosecution Memo for Federal Election Interference Crimes

This model prosecution memorandum (or “pros memo”) assesses federal charges Special Counsel Jack Smith may bring against former President Donald Trump for alleged criminal interference in the 2020 election. The authors have decades of experience as federal prosecutors, criminal defense lawyers, and other legal expertise. We conclude that the evidence likely now meets Department of Justice standards to commence a prosecution.

Do any actions disqualify a person from being president?

The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution prohibits anyone who has engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States from holding public office. The clause was written in the aftermath of the U.S. Civil War and makes no mention of other crimes.

Is religion necessary for morality?

Wiki:
Utilitarianism is a family of normative ethical theories that prescribe actions that maximize happiness and well-being for all affected individuals
From the utilitarian viewpoint, God is not an absolute necessity for morals. However,
the theological utilitarians had the option of grounding their pursuit of happiness in the will of God; the hedonistic utilitarians needed a different defence.

Why is it a popular belief amongst religious people that morals have to come from god?

Christians believe that man by nature is sinful and no good, Mark 10:
18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.

Nature itself does not command or demand people to be moral. Do you think that the origin of morality can be explained from a natural worldview?

Yes, to some extent. It is called utilitarian ethics:
Utilitarianism promotes "the greatest amount of good for the greatest number of people." When used in a sociopolitical construct, utilitarian ethics aims for the betterment of society as a whole. Utilitarianism is a reason-based approach to determining right and wrong, but it has limitations.

Is religion necessary for morality?

No, but it may work better if there is a righteous God who holds everyone accountable. Let me be clear: I am not promoting Utilitarianism. I am a Christian who loves Jesus. Christ is the standard for me.

Preincarnate appearances of Christ whose name was wonderfully mysterious

After Jacob wrestled with God in Genesis 32:
27 he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.” 28Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” 29Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, “Why is it that you ask my name?”
That might be a preincarnate appearance of Christ. His name was not disclosed.

Many centuries later, before Samson was born in Judges 13:
17 Manoah said to the angel of the LORD, “What is your name, so that, when your words come true, we may honor you?” 18 And the angel of the LORD said to him, “Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful [H6883] ?”
That also might be a preincarnate appearance of Christ. Again, his name was not disclosed.

A few centuries later, Isaiah prophesied Messianically in (Aramaic Bible in Plain English) 9:6
Because the Child is born to us, and the Son is given to us, and his authority was on his shoulder, and his Name was called The Wonder [H6382] and The Counselor, God, the Mighty Man of Eternity, the Prince of Peace [and The Father of Eternity]
With the word "Wonder", Isaiah seemed to link the coming Messiah with the angel of the LORD who spoke to Manoah.

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭30:4
Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name? Surely you know!

Again, there was the mysterious name.

Jesus spoke to Nicodemus in John 3:
12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

Jesus seemed to be alluding to ascending and descending from heaven in Pro. 30:4.

A good case can be made that Jesus had some preincarnate interactions with some people on Earth. Back then, he ascended and descended from heaven and his name was wonderfully mysterious :)

Matthew 2:15 quotes Hosea 11:1 out of context?

Hosea 11:
1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt, I called my son. 2 But the more they were called, the more they went away from me. They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to images.
Hosea was talking about the rebellious nature of the Israelites.

Matthew cites Hosea out of context in Matthew 2:15 and applies it to Jesus:
[Egypt] where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

Did Matthew quote Hosea out of context?

Yes, I think so according to our modern sense of scholarship.

One can find quite a few such instances where the NT writers didn't cite the OT scriptures properly. What were they thinking?

In Jewish hermeneutics, there are four levels of interpretive principles:
  1. Peshat is the simple, obvious, literal meaning of a biblical text.
  2. Remez (hint) is the typological or allegorical interpretation.
  3. Derash digs deeper to search for the intent of the divine author of the text.
  4. Sod unveils the secret mystical meanings.
Context does not deter one from searching for the deeper truth. Moreover, Jesus encouraged his disciples to read the Messiah into the OT, Luke 24:
25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.
Did Matthew quote Hosea properly?

Yes, according to Jewish hermeneutics.

Another case can be found when Jesus quoted Isaiah in Luke 4:
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Here is the original context, Isaiah 61:2
to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of our God's vengeance, to comfort all who mourn
Jesus didn't continue the verse and mentioned God's vengeance because the year of the LORD'S favor and the day of our God's vengeance are two distinct and separate events. They are his first and second comings.

Did Jesus quote Isaiah properly?

Yes, according to Jewish hermeneutics.

Paul did similarly in 1 Cor 9:
9For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop.

Did Paul quote Moses properly?

Yes, according to Jewish hermeneutics.
B
byword
Not a misquote. The nature of prophecies is that one can cover 2 or more contexts, times, people.

A prophecy about Israel can stay ‘open’ to include Jesus in another context.

I find these obvious prophecies with links a second event that is simultaneously being mentioned.

Example: Was AoD in AD70 or in the future? The answer is quite possibly “both.”

Daily Wire's Michael Knowles: “Science is mostly fake” - “The [scientific] endeavor, that reality is fundamentally physical ... is flawed"

But then there is the even deeper level that I haven't heard a lot of people acknowledge, which is, this is yet another reminder that science is mostly fake. And not that scientism or the politicization of science or whatever other squishy language the more centrist, kind of, people want to grant. But the whole endeavor, the whole endeavor of the scientific revolution, the premise of which is that reality is fundamentally physical, that is flawed. It's not true.

He goes on to thumb his nose at a roomful of strawmen, while generally eroding the concept of objective truth.

Long seeking - Am I alone?

I tried to find a place for me But I couldn't... Im tired of churches where the lasers, drums, emotions are in the center, churches which doesn't understand difference between prozelitism and evangelism, with 50 minutes sermons full of jokes, full of blind fanatism and conspiracy theories. I left definitely Evangelical Christianity because of that. I respect evangelicals for many things, I became Christian in Evangelical Church too But I'm tired of this kind of Christianity and don't see there my place anymore

I was looking in more traditional churches like lutheran, reformed but unfortunately where I live (Europe) many of them are very liberal, with homosexual pastors, woman bishops etc. And I tried even accept this but I feel very often this churches are more focused on LGBT and Feminist movements than Gospel, you can sometimes find more posts about Pride than Bible in their social media.

So at the end I started to learn more about anabaptism and "proto-protestant" churches (it means Waldensians, Lollards/John Wycliffe and Hussites/Moravian). They are more focused on the Bible I feel, on simplicity, peace, all things I support, also more traditional than Evangelical, with structurized services, sermons etc. But I could be too beautiful to be real Mennonites are very small group in Europe and they represent mostly more liberal part of anabaptism (woman pastors etc). Waldensians today exist only in Italy and Argentina So this is only more like some "exotic" interesting thing rather than real option. At the end Lollards and John Wycliffe is what I was looking for but Lollards doesn't exist today, teaching of John Wycliffe was continued by Jan Hus and then his followers in Moravian Church existing today, now Im considering to join them but again problem is that they are small group in Europe, in my country not even one congregation. Also they have woman clergy in all level - deacons (which I accept and support) But also pastors and bishops (here is problem).

I don't know if I am the problem because I have unreal expectations to looking for a church which will be both based on christian tradition rather than "contemporary worship" and at the same time focused on Gospel and mission and will be conservative without homosexual and female bishops But at the same time not fanatic?

Or maybe its really not easy to find good church today...

Who does the devil fear? The answer will amaze you!

This should be more widely shared , as a piece of apologetics.

One of the most succesful hacker groups in history is the turkish “ayyildiz team“

Their victories are legendary!
It has hacked Israel’s iron dome.
It put a turkish flag on a Russian ministry website.
it even hacked UN.
It hacked famous twitter accounts, including US state department accounts.

So when you look at it’s conquests they don’t waste on irrelevant minnows.

iIt makes it all the more amazing that

One of its targets was a small hidden church in Buenos airies , whose only claim to fame was three eucharistic miracles , the first of the modern group.

it blocked the site “ parroquiasantamariacaballito.com.ar“ for years. Now online again.

It seems the devil knows what is an important threat, even if christians and Catholics don’t!
the devil does not want you to know!
But neither do most Catholics I speak to!
