This is crazy. We have terrorists and criminals coming through our southern border, 80,000 Americans a year dying from fentanyl and Joe is going to send troops to Europe! We saw what Joe and his military leadership did in pulling out of Afghanistan. May God help our nation.
Biden did deploy troops to the southern border
(to add to the 2,500 that were already there)
So I guess I'm not sure what the gripe is about sending 3,000 additional troops to the continent of Europe to be on-hand (to add to the 100,000 troops that are already on the continent)
Not to mention the scenarios are different.
While I have plenty of critiques about the way we're intervening in the Ukraine-Russia conflict, these are simply two totally different, unrelated sets of circumstances.
When it comes to drugs, all the emphasis from the right seems to get put on the supply side. For matters of drugs, one needs to understand the demand side of the equation.
As to where in the Russia situation, that's a matter of someone who has ambitions of conquest and territorial expansion. If Mexico had their sights set on annexing Arizona and New Mexico and Biden wasn't doing anything about it, then I'd be in agreement that "Biden needs to do more".
We could throw 50,000 troops at the southern border, it wouldn't matter. There's people in other places who want to sell those drugs, and people here who want to buy them, as long as that supply and demand situation exists, foreign entities will find a way to get their ingredients into our borders. We can't even stop drugs from getting into federal prisons (some of the most highly controlled environments)...that have a inmate to CO ratio of 7:1.
