  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In Love, Jesus Is The Lord

Matthew 18:20-22KJV
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Biden’s alcohol czar warns new guidance could be only 2 beers a week

President Biden’s alcohol czar, Dr. George Koob, told the Daily Mail that the USDA could revise its alcohol recommendations to match Canada’s guidelines.

I think the Biden adminisration will start easy with fines and/or community service for those who break the rules.

By the Renewal of Your Mind

Romans 12:1-2 ESV

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

So, Paul was writing this appeal to the church in Rome. Thus, he was urging, admonishing, calling, and exhorting them by the mercies of God to do something. And what are the mercies of God? This is speaking of our Lord’s compassion to us, his pity on us, and of his favor and grace to us which was shown to us by our Lord dying on that cross in order to save us and to forgive us, which is to deliver us out of our lives of sin and to give us new life in him to be lived for his praise and glory in obedience to him.

Because of what Jesus Christ did for us on that cross, on that basis, this appeal (exhortation, admonishment, urging) is being directed to the Christians in Rome, but not just to them, but to us who profess faith in Jesus Christ today, too. And the exhortation is that we present our bodies to God as living sacrifices (offerings) to our Lord, offered on his terms, not ours, as prescribed by God and not of our own doing. So, this is an offering which God will accept because it is being offered to him on his terms.

And we are to present our bodies to Christ, holy and acceptable to God. And what does it mean to be holy? It means to be set apart by and for God, to be separate (unlike, different) from the world because, in Christ Jesus, we are being conformed of God to the likeness of character of Jesus Christ. So, this means we are no longer to be like and to live like the world. We are no longer to have worldly mindsets and behaviors, but our minds are now to be set on our Lord to obey him in all things.

And how are we made acceptable to God, and well-pleasing to him? First and foremost it is only by his grace to us in dying on that cross so that we might die with him to sin and live to him and to his righteousness, now in his power and strength. For we cannot be acceptable and pleasing to God of our own selves in our own flesh. But it is also via our faith response to what he did for us on that cross in us surrendering our lives to him, dying with him to sin, and now walking in obedience to his commands (New Covenant).

For Jesus Christ did not die on that cross just to forgive us our sins so we can go to heaven when we die. And his forgiveness of our sins involves him delivering us out of our bondage (slavery, addiction) to sin so that we can now walk in freedom from the power of sin over our lives, and so we can live holy lives, acceptable to God, by his grace and in his power. For when we believe in Jesus with God-given faith, our old self is crucified with Christ in order that we will no longer be enslaved to sin but to righteousness.

Now, when we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, and we give our lives to the Lord as living sacrifices to him, not of our own doing, but as prescribed by God, and that which is holy and acceptable to God, by God’s standards, according to his will, and in his power, this is our spiritual worship of God. So, although singing is certainly part of worship, we can sing praises to God and not be worshiping him at all. For if our lives are not surrendered to him, living holy lives acceptable to him, we aren’t truly worshiping our Lord.

Thus, we are no longer to be conformed to this world, to where we take on the character of this world and not that of our Lord. We are not to be those who are following the same pattern (model, mold) of the world and of the flesh of humans. We should not be those who look like, act like, speak like, and think like the world, and like the ungodly, in character. There should be a definite distinction between us and the ungodly who do not worship the one true God. For our minds should be set on God and not on the world.

For by genuine God-given faith in Jesus Christ we are to be those who are being transformed in heart and mind away from what is sinful and ungodly and toward what is holy and righteous and obedient to our Lord. We should no longer have the same mindset as we did before we believed in Christ, for our Lord is renewing our minds as we walk by faith in him, in his power. For this word “transformed” has to do with “metamorphosis” like a caterpillar being transformed (changed) into a butterfly.

And this transformation of our hearts and minds will be evident in how we live and in our speech, actions, thinking, attitudes, and behaviors. There should be fruit in our lives which should be increasing which reveals that we have indeed had this transformation of heart and mind away from our lives of sin to now walking in obedience to our Lord in holy living. And this change brought about in our lives by God should give evidence of what is the will of God – that which is well-pleasing to him – his good and perfect will.

Songs in the Night

An Original Work / December 18, 2013

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.” Acts 16:25 NIV ‘84

Lord, I praise You forevermore.
You, my Savior, I now adore.
Hope in heaven awaiting me,
Because You died at Calvary.

I have been forgiven,
And I’m bound for heaven.
Jesus set me free from
All my sin, I say.
I will praise Him always!

Lord, I love You for all You’ve done:
Overcame death, my vict’ry won!
Jesus saved me, and now I’m free!
I rejoice in His love for me.

I will walk in vict’ry!
My sin is but hist’ry!
I am free to please Him
With my life today.
I will love Him always!

Lord, I thank You for giving me
A new life bought at Calvary.
Loving Jesus, I meet with Him.
Tender mercies now flow within.

Lord, I am so thankful;
Through my Lord, I’m able
To sit at His table;
Fellowship with Him.
I will thank Him always!

Put On Those Filthy Rags!

Put On Those Filthy Rags!

Just because "all our righteousness is as filthy rags"
- doesn't mean we shouldn't be wearing them

Sure, 100%, it isn't any holiness of our own that will get us into Heaven
- but we are still commanded to be holy

Sure, it says that all over the place, but none of it matters since "faith?"

The church today sees Paul's message as clear and easy to understand
- and sees Peter/James/John as harder to understand, needing more care...

But Peter says the opposite, that Paul's words are the ones hard to understand
- and Peter says that unstable people will wrest those words to their own detriment

Further, Peter expresses the sum of "salvation by faith not of works" just a tiny bit differently..
- saying that "the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation"
- which is really the same exact thing, but makes it clear....
- no matter all this grace, He is just "tolerating" us in our failures

And it seems to me, to please Him, we should put on some filthy rags!

Inspiration of the Scriptures

I want to try and understand this better. According to some christians when the Bible writers wrote the Bible, they were being given the words supernaturally by dictation from God. This sound like a mechanical process that bypassed the writer's personality, just as if a boss asked his secretary to take a letter, she would write down just the words he said verbatim, not put it in her own words, at least that is my understanding of dictation. I have some reservations at the moment about this theory of inspiration if it involves bypassing of the writer's personality, mainly because when the authorship of a letter in the New Testament is disputed, the arguments about whether or not its by Paul or someone else are said to be based on style differences - its not Paul's style. What they mean by its not Paul's style, if they mean more than that he didn't sign it, I am not sure? Anyway is it possible for divine inspiration to involve the personality of the writer, or is the personality bypassed - like they are "beside themselves" while they are inspired, if so could this be something similiar to what Plato has called "divine madness"?

See You In Heaven (No More Excuses)

Hello, I have a friend who asked me to share a message to other Christians. She is not very tech savy and doesn't know how to post anything on the internet, so I told her I would do it for her. This was the best place I could think of to get her message out to other Christians.

See You in Heaven

No More Excuses

How many times do you go to church and return home without telling anyone about Jesus the rest of the week? Most of us are guilty of this. It’s time to face up to the truth. Where is the love? Foolish pride is our enemy.

There is a way to overcome this. Give a non-believer a gift of love with a letter. You can use the letter we have included or make your own. Do not worry about who to give the gift to. God will direct you. All you have to do is pray. We know this is not hard to do.

Here is a list of items you will need:
1) Bible (Walmart has NIV Bibles for $12.95)
2) A letter
3) Gift Bag (99 cent store, Dollar Tree, etc…) Card or bows are optional.

P.S. You can include other inspirational documents such as: “A Strong Woman Versus A Women of Strength” or “The Right Kind Of Faith,” etc. Please spread the word to others for the hour grows late. Remember we are soldiers in God’s army.

It’s not easy to reach out to others, but if God puts it in your heart, you obey. I know God came to earth and put on flesh, born of the Virgin Mary and went to the cross to die for our sins. He took our place. Jesus did more than this. He rose on the third day and overcame death. That means you will never die. You have only two choices in life. Where will you live the rest of your life?

I made a choice to be with Jesus forever, where sin does not exist. If you want to know where I am going to live it’s called the New Jerusalem.

Billions of people will live in hell in the Lake of Fire in total darkness where the worm never dies. They will be tormented forever. No one will come to rescue them. No one will hug or kiss them. Love does not exist in hell. You will long for someone to dip their little finger in water and place it on your tongue.

[Read Revelation Chapters 21 & 22 or Revelation Chapter 14:9-12]

Do you know the enemy (Satan) tried to deceive me? I thought I had to clean up my life before God would accept me. This was a big fat lie. If I could do it on my own, why did Jesus die for me? You come as you are.

If you ask Jesus to forgive you and ask him into your life as Lord and Savior beware of the enemy. Every time you make a mistake, he will throw it in your face. When God saves us, he forgives all our sins: past, present, and future. Tell Satan that Jesus does not condemn us!

Teacher allegedly groomed 8th grader with ‘accidental’ nude photos, repeatedly sexually assaulted him, then bought him a gun he picked out

A now-former private school teacher in Wisconsin allegedly had sex with one of her eighth grade students – and then gave him a gun for his 14th birthday before he ran away from home, authorities say.

Tyesha Bolden, 34, stands accused of one count each of child sexual assault in the second degree, and intentionally selling a dangerous weapon to a child, according to Milwaukee County court records reviewed by Law&Crime.

The defendant hails from Brown Deer, a small suburb of Milwaukee, and previously worked for the Pilgrim Lutheran School in Wauwatosa

Texas on track to enforce ban on gender-transition drugs for minors despite judge’s order

“The OAG will continue to enforce the laws duly enacted by the Texas Legislature and uphold the values of the people of Texas by doing everything in its power to protect children from damaging ‘gender transition’ interventions,” said the office in a Friday statement.

Republican Gov. Greg Abbott signed SB 14 into law on June 2, making Texas one of 22 states to ban or restrict gender-transition procedures for minors.

Retired Calgary Bishop Demands Proof For ‘Missing Children’ Claims

Yet even hospitalized at age 80, the retired bishop expressed a sense of urgency for having what he regards as the whole truth told about Indian residential school history.

As he lay in an Alberta hospital bed in late July, retired Calgary Bishop Fred Henry summoned the energy to publicly break the silence regarding what he considers the prevailing “lie” about missing Indian residential schoolchildren in Canada.

“Why is the Catholic Church not asking the federal government for proof that even one residential child is actually missing in the sense that his [or] her parents didn’t know what happened to their child at the time of the child’s death?” he demanded in an email to Toronto’s Catholic Register.

The 6 Kinds of Republican Voters

The Moderate Establishment (14%). Highly educated, affluent, socially moderate or even liberal and often outright Never Trump.

The Traditional Conservatives (26%). Old-fashioned economic and social conservatives who oppose abortion and prefer corporate tax cuts to new tariffs. They don’t love Mr. Trump, but they do support him.

The Right Wing (26%). They watch Fox News and Newsmax. They’re “very conservative.” They’re disproportionately evangelical. They believe America is on the brink of catastrophe. And they love Mr. Trump more than any other group.

The Blue Collar Populists (12%). They’re mostly Northern, socially moderate, economic populists who hold deeply conservative views on race and immigration. Not only do they back Mr. Trump, but he himself probably counted as one a decade ago.

The Libertarian Conservatives (14%). These disproportionately Western and Midwestern conservatives value small government. They’re relatively socially moderate and isolationist, and they’re on the lower end of Trump support compared with other groups.

The Newcomers (8%). They don’t look like Republicans. They’re young, diverse and moderate. But these disaffected voters like Democrats and the “woke” left even less.

Brothers and Sisters, greetings. Today I am going to present evidence for why I think we should trust the Bible and it's creation account as literal, meaning that the Earth is just several thousand years old, just over 6,000 to be more precise. Firstly let me just say that I do not think this issue is a matter of salvation, and therefore not essential, but I fear not trusting the Bible in this regard only helps the adversary further weaken our resolve and understanding when it comes to other issues.

Ok, so science (or the world) describes the Earth as being billions of years old. Lets see what the Bible says.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Now, scripture does tell us that a thousand years is like a day to God.
Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

When you consider the word "day" H3117 from the Genesis passage, it could be either literal or figurative, however looking at the words "evening" H6153 and "morning" H1242 there is much less room for interpretation and scripture seems to be pointing to an actual 24 hour day. The issue with people accepting this though, is because I would say for must of us, for our entire lives, we've been taught that the Bible is wrong, and science is right. However the creation story provides a completely contrary explanation for how we got here. Take for example that God created Earth on the first day, but made the stars on the fourth, not to mention making plants on the third!

Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Gen 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Gen 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

According to science, how could God of made the earth, filled with plants, before he made the sun, moon, and stars? We must remember that God is all powerful and is not constrained by the laws of creation, as He is the one who made them. We are also told the Earth was made out of water; are we just to disregard that because science says otherwise?

2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Again we see that a thousand years to God is like one day, we will come back to this in a bit. Before we do, lets address wisdom, or being wise. Are we, who are sinful and wicked, wise? Or is wisdom given to us through God. Basically are we "wise" in the ways and beliefs of the world, or are we "wise" in the ways of God? To paraphrase Jesus, we are in the world, but not of the world (John 17:14-16).

Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Pro 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Jer 8:9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
Dan 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

All of these scriptures point to the fact that God gives us wisdom. Therefor if someone is wise, that is because they are wise in the ways of the Lord. See for instance the Jeremiah reference; they had rejected the Word of the Lord, and they had no wisdom!

1Cor 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1Cor 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1Cor 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

Scripture clearly seems to clearly be rebuking what the "world" considers wise, because it is opposed to the truth of God. We should not be surprised by this because scripture also tells us that Satan is the ruler of this world.

2Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Joh 12:31
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

So if Satan is running this earth (for a time), should we be surprised if the whole earth is teaching something that is contrary to God and his Word? Something that only causes people to fall away or not believe? We as followers of Christ, should forget what we think we know, and look to God's word for understanding. Do you prefer words from scientists and doctors over the words of God? If you read a difficult passage that doesn't fit your understanding do you disregard it because the world says otherwise?

I know some of you are still wondering, what about dinosaurs and fossils man!? We know, because of scripture, that there were giants before and after the flood.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Deu 3:13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

Not only were there giant men walking the earth after the flood, there were also giant plants and fruit.
Num 13:23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.

Would it then be safe to assume if there were giant people and plants, there were giant animals as well? I think this more than satisfies how we could have "dinosaur" bones. What about the ageing though, the fossil record? Again, do you trust man or God? A great resource for fossilization, and a man much more versed on the subject than myself, I feel provides a very concise explanation and I will link a short video here.

So, the last reason I think the earth is only over 6,000 years is because the signs of the times. I think we are in the last days. Just as God made the Earth in a literal week, he will bring about its completion in a figurative week. Meaning, its been almost 2,000 years since the death and resurection of Jesus Christ. We are now in the figurative third day. We have already read how 1,000 years is like a single day to God. When did Jesus rise from the dead? On the third day. When will he return? On the third (figurative) day! Look around you and see the ever growing evil engulfing the earth! God's longsuffering is drawing to an end and Christ will be returning soon!

I will ask you one final time. Do you believe the Word of God, or the wisdom of man?

The Warcraft game universe and the "Enochian" pre-flood/Noah civilizations

When I first read about the Book of Enoch which is a Jewish scripture just like the other books of the Bible and yet removed from canon, both Jewish and Orthodox Christianity for reasons I found no logical basis.

I found it had so many elements found in the multiplayer game I used to play called World of Warcraft. I've been playing warcraft long before I read about the book. There were giants and then fallen angels who passed down advanced knowledge to primitive man like blacksmithing / metallurgy, weaponsmithing, jewelcrafting, enchantments, magic/sorcery(real ones!), agriculture, astrology, the art of war, the art of hand-to-hand combat and many more. Strange natural landscape including the presence of ridiculously enormous trees.

And then all-out wars broke out between different factions of humans led by the offsprings and/or prodigies (heroes) of these fallen angels. These ancient wars involved all fronts of combat, from hand-to-hand fighting to extensive use of magical attacks and wielding advanced/other-worldly technology.

All these things are present in the Warcraft Universe. Their enemies just like in Book of Enoch are also the "Fallen Gods" or the Fallen angels. Both also corrupted and fouled the lands of the Earth and all living creatures it came in contact with. Even the names of the fallen entities sounded similar in both the game and the book.

I suppose why I found the warcraft lore strangely attractive. In fact, I got addicted to the game. But thank God, I got out of that addiction! It's probably sourcing from a distant memory seared in our DNA. A world that is terrifying. Yet, strangely attractive. I suppose, our present world that has gone mad is pushing me back to our origins where at least, it was far more exciting than the Death our present world has become.

Do I find a new church or stay in this one?

My ex boyfriend introduced me to the church I go to when we first started dating. I've been going since March of 2022. I've even become a member of the church--this happened a week before we broke up. I've still been going to church, ever since we broke up this past May (we broke up May 13, 2023, and today is August 25, 2023).

My ex us bringing another girl to church. I'm positive they're dating. He sits on the opposite side of the sanctuary and he doesn't come up to talk with me or our mutual friends (I sit with a family I used to live with for a few months, they've been a huge support to me during this time and they're also his friends; he's known them for much longer).

Every week, though, I'm dreading going to church. I'm anxious and when I see him with the other girl, it's like getting slapped. Some weeks are easier than others, but last week I saw him with his girlfriend and another girl, all happy and having a good time. I felt absolutely furious.

My anxiety has been awful; I researched if I could check myself into a psych hospital. I WAS doing better, but seeing him with 2 girls sent me over the edge. I am looking in to getting medication, just temporarily, as I've had bad anxiety long before I even met my ex. This was just the perfect storm.

Some people want me to stay in the church (my friends who currently go there). Others, meaning my mom and my friends mom, think I should leave. (My friend's mom goes to a different church, my mom lives out of state.)

My mind had been STUCK on my ex. I keep thinking about him all week. I'm angry and hurt and it's not FAIR that he gets to move on. I'm skipping a birthday party that I know he's going to he at because I just don't want to hear about his life or see him with his girlfriend.

I've thought of just taking a break. But even the thought of going to a different church, even with my friend's parents, doesn't sit well as I'm not sure about that church. Going to a totally brand new church feels a little better. But I feel like nothing I choose is a good idea. If I leave, I'm leaving my community and friends, with no guarantee I'll be able to find community elsewhere. I'll go to a new church and be a stranger. But if I stay, I'm anxious and angry.

And there's only one service at my church, on Sundays. That's it. So I can't go to a different service.

Like I said, I've thought of taking a break while I get started on medication. But the idea hasn't been feeling good.

US intelligence agencies believe that the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) is attempting to influence public policy and public opinion in the West by directing Russian civilians to build relationships with influential US and Western individuals and then disseminate narratives that support Kremlin objectives, obscuring the FSB’s role through layers of ostensibly independent actors.

“These influence operations are designed to be deliberately small scale, the overall goal being US [and] Western persons presenting these ideas, seemingly organic,” a US official authorized to discuss the material told CNN.

The campaigns have sometimes been effective at planting Russian narratives in the Western press, according to the intelligence. Maxim Grigoriev, who heads a Russian NGO, made multiple speeches to the UN presenting a false study that claimed the humanitarian group the White Helmets – which operates in Syria – was running a black market for human organs and had faked chemical attacks by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, with whom Russia is allied. Those claims eventually found their way into a television report on the far-right OANN in the United States, according to open-source materials provided by the official.

But the official stressed that the Western voices that eventually became mouthpieces for Russian propaganda were almost certainly unaware of the role they were playing.

Alien intelligent and sentient life

Disclaimer: This thread is not about angels being alien beings. By aliens, I mean intelligent physical beings that evolved on another planet and have never heard of the good news of Jesus.

The Bible does not assert the existence of intelligent aliens in one way or another. Neither does it exclude its possibility. Mark 16:
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world [G2889]and preach the gospel to all creation.
world G2889. κόσμος (kosmos), Thayer's Greek Lexicon:
3. the world, i. e. the universe
My paraphrase:

Code:
Go into all the universe and
preach the gospel to all creation

universe || creation

If there are moral agents on another planet, this will be the updated interpretation of the Great Commission.

As far as the gospel is concerned, aliens on another planet are no different from indigenous people in ancient Australia or China.

Hi everyone

Through recent mental health issues to several bouts of high anxiety and catastrophic thinking, my call to Jesus was suddenly upon me.

I am praying every day, asking for Jesus to imprint his teachings and practice in to my heart. I have lost all desire for earthly things and want to build a loving and caring relationship with him. Since my confessions of sin and a raw, emotional, request for forgiveness I have become very tearful at the slightest thought of his love and compassion. Jesus and God are consuming my every day and my every thought, I go to bed thinking and praying, I wake up thinking and praying, the reminder of our saviour is constant.

This is a feeling I’ve not encountered before, although I’ve always believed in the holy trinity, I’ve not had this overwhelming desire to follow the path of Christ, to love, to give, to care, to not judge, not gossip, to learn from the books of truth and to rejoice in sharing his name.

Im a little tired from the constant and relentless call to prayer, it’s in my whole head without distraction. I asked Jesus to send the Holy Spirit so I may speak without anger, jealousy or bitterness, to not judge others in this modern and unjust world, to caring and loving, kind and thoughtful for all people……and every time I go to speak, there is a very clear reminder for the good of my words.

I am determined to use this new meaning and way of life to serve God and Christ free of sin…….I know we are all sinners and will sin again but I am filled with the desire of spirtual perfection.

Can anyone relate to this paradigm shift, this sudden birth of newness that causes much exhaustion?

Im glad I’m here, I’m overwhelmed with the decision to start a new life, a change of habits, a change of outlook, perspective and to let go of material/earthly desires.

Much love to you all through our saviour Jesus Christ
David
