The 12 apostles, what did they do after the resurrection?

Mark 3:14 And he appointed twelve, to be with him, and to be sent out to preach 15 and have authority to cast out demons: 16 Simon whom he surnamed Peter; 17 James the son of Zeb'edee and John the brother of James, whom he surnamed Bo-aner'ges, that is, sons of thunder; 18 Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Cananaean,19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. Then he went home;

Acts 1:23 And they put forward two, Joseph called Barsab'bas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthi'as. 24 And they prayed and said, "Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, show which one of these two thou hast chosen 25 to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside, to go to his own place."26 And they cast lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthi'as; and he was enrolled with the eleven apostles.

After the resurrection what did these 12 do, excluding Judas who died by suicide, and including Matthias who was chosen to replace Judas.

Biden admin unveils string of eco regulations in latest appliance crackdown targeting fridges, freezers

Experts, including Lieberman, have repeatedly warned over the last 12 months that the Biden administration's energy efficiency actions will ultimately harm consumers and drive prices higher since manufacturers will be forced to adopt newer technologies to achieve the standards.
In April, Lieberman led a comment letter alongside more than 15 other consumer organizations, arguing DOE's efficiency standards for stovetops proposed in February "almost certainly compromise some of the features that gas stove users want, and all for the sake of saving an insignificant amount of energy." According to the agency's analysis, those standards would effectively ban half of all available stoves.

Video: Trump needs to removed from the ballot.

The video below is an interview of Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post about Trump potentially being president again. She she says Trump needs to be removed from the ballot:

"Because it is so clear that the law and the facts require his removal, that the Supreme Court should consider doing anything else I think will be the final nail in the coffin of a court that is already in a death spiral when it comes to legitimacy and credibility with the American people."

Rubin says that Trump plans to create a dictatorship and asks if people really think that if elected he would leave office voluntarily. She says Trump does not believe that the four year term of the presidency applies to him--interesting, I have never heard Trump claim that. She accuses Trump of being anti-truth, anti-Constitutional, and anti-rule-of-law. Rubin fails to mention anything about Trump getting a trial where he can defend himself against charges of insurrection. She also mentions nothing about the rule of law being thrown out in the persecution of conservatives, whether it be traditional Catholics or for that matter anyone who dares defend Trump. I think she well expresses the attitude of the Democrat leadership, just how wrong the Supreme Court would be for allowing Trump to stay on the ballot--that they would lose legitimacy and credibility if they don't vote her way. It sounds like laying a foundation for packing the Supreme Court.

The Atomic Structure Constructed with the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity

First of all, the accompanying diagram below does not represent Hydrogen Atom. Hydrogen does not have Neutron. But, rather it is the elements of the Periodic Table reduced in their 1:1:1 Neutron, Proton, and Electron ratios for simple analysis. The contents of the Atomic Structure diagram have what they come to represent in the Life of God.

The Atomic Elements

The Atom is made of the Nucleus which consists of Protons and Neutrons. The Protons and Neutrons are held together in the Nucleus by a strong nuclear force. The Electrons orbit around the Nucleus.

The Charges

The Proton and Electron are oppositely charged. The Proton has a Positive electric Charge, the Electron has a Negative electric Charge, and the Neutron has no electric Charge.

Atomic Structure2.png

Equality of Charge in Particles

The Atom generally has a neutral overall Charge as a result of it having the same number of Electrons as Protons. It shows that the Nucleus of an Atom is always positively charged.

Equality of Mass in Particles

The Proton has the same mass as the Neutron, Electron’s mass is so small that this can usually be taken as zero.

The Atomic Number of the Atom

The Atomic Number (also called the Proton Number) is the number of Protons in an Atom. The Mass number (also called the Nucleon Number) is the total Number of Protons and Neutrons in an Atom.

Summary of the Atomic Structure

The statements of information about the Chemistry of the Atom Structure show the summary in this way: starting with the proton, it means that it has 1 on Mass and +1 on Charge; the neutron has 1 on Mass and zero (0) on Charge; and the Electron, zero (0) or 0.0005 on Charge. Such can be represented in tabular form in this way:

Atom Table BW.png

In the next post, we will be marrying the Divine Life Table derived as the summary of the Life of God the Holy Trinity in their internal Divinity and external Mission Activity and then with the Atom Table derived as the summary of the Atomic Structure. By that, we will be doing the decoding; which is the testing for the same or similar sentence structure, wording, and meaning.

I am fairly sure many Trump supporters on this forum are not living in what I think is reality.
Which means I cannot really communicate with them if at least one of us has no grip on reality
I would argue that Trump's reaction (actions and deeds) to the 2020 election was worse

Mexico emerges as Biden’s immigration Hail Mary

The Biden administration is leaning on Mexico to help reduce the number of migrants showing up at the southern border in the face of few and unpalatable policy options stateside.
The White House’s push is straining relations with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who played a key role in implementing former President Trump’s most stringent border policies under threat of tariffs.
López Obrador, who met in Mexico City this week with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and homeland security adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall, is negotiating from a position of strength because border security has grown into a major U.S. electoral issue ahead of 2024.
“[President Biden] is definitely hoping that Mexico will do something that pushes the numbers down for a few months at least,” said Adam Isacson, director of defense oversight at the Washington Office on Latin America.

Border encounters are reaching all-time highs: In December, the Border Patrol is on track to process a record number of migrants who have crossed the border between ports of entry.

In the first 27 days of the month, Border Patrol processed 225,000 migrants — its highest count ever — according to a report by CBS News.
That’s despite the Biden administration ratcheting up measures intended to deter future migrants from coming to the United States. In its annual report issued Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) touted a 19.5 percent jump in arrests of noncitizens, a majority of whom weren’t accused of criminal actions.
Border crossings stuck to an upward trend even though ICE conducted 170,590 arrests, 96,768 of which were purely administrative, meaning the detainees had no criminal convictions or charges, and conducted 142,580 removals of foreign nationals.
And U.S. border officials are running on fumes, dealing with those record numbers without extra funding the Biden administration requested from Congress, which would have added 1,300 Border Patrol jobs and 1,600 asylum officers.

That funding was included in a supplemental budget request paired with aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan that ultimately petered out in Senate negotiations ahead of Christmas because of disagreement over border policy changes requested by Republicans and opposed by many Democrats.

Human Aging Research

Medical science, namely Gerontology is currently making efforts to expand our lifespan. In scripture one example of Prayer having an influence on a persons lifespan is Isaiah 38:5 where God added 15 years to Hezekiah’s life.

So God has added time in the past. he can do it again.

“Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.”

Nearly 8,000 Choose to Follow Jesus During Egyptian Outreach

It's been called the largest Christian event in Egypt's history as more than 17,000 attended a Gospel crusade and more than 7,800 people made a decision to put their faith in Jesus Christ.

Dr. Michael Youssef's Leading The Way ministry held the evangelistic event in Cairo last month and told CBN News he is praising God for the thousands who came forward seeking hope, healing, and change.
"It was an amazing experience," he recalled. "Past midnight, people did not want to leave and said, 'We just feel the Holy Spirit here' and it was a foretaste of Heaven. Just praising God."
The 75-year-old pastor of the Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, Georgia said he was invited to Egypt to preach by a cross-denominational coalition of pastors and leaders nearly a year ago.
"Twelve months ago I received an invitation from pastors and leaders representing 27 denominations and they said, 'We have never had an evangelistic outreach of that kind of magnitude. Would you pray about it?' I prayed about it and I felt, 'Of course, I will come.'"

Youssef said nearly a year of prayer went into preparing for the event. At the start of the Israel-Hamas war, he was urged to cancel because of mounting pressure in the Middle East.
"God knew 12 months ago when this was planned that this [war] was going to happen," he explained. "This is not taking Him by surprise. Can you imagine an announcement made that the evangelist is not coming because he is concerned about the situation in the Middle East?" Youssef asked. "What kind of a God do I worship? I am going no matter what. And I knew that I could trust God, this was God's plan and we want to be on His plan."
The executive president of Leading the Way went to Cairo last month on a mission to share a message of hope with Egyptians.

"I think there are many things that are going on right now. The war on the Northern border with Hamas, inflation is 40% in Egypt. People are really suffering and some are losing hope and they want something to hang their hope onto. They want to have peace and this is exactly the message I brought them. You can have peace in Christ, regardless of the circumstances and regardless of the surroundings, and it just resonated with them and I praise God for that because it was a simple message of the Gospel and the hunger was there," Youssef said.

Youssef attributed the event's unprecedented attendance to the power of prayer.
"There have been people who have been praying around the clock for nearly 12 months," he explained. "I always say this is God's answer to the prayers of the faithful people there....He responded to their prayers and their faith and gave them what is going to be now an igniting of a movement that is going to continue. It's not going to stop. We praise God for all those people."

Youssef, a native Egyptian who lived in Lebanon, says he is passionate about seeing the Middle East embrace Jesus Christ.
"The church is booming. It is amazing what God is doing. The evangelicals and Protestants may have been 250,000 or 300,000 back when I lived there 55 years ago. Now there are over 2 million evangelicals in Egypt and about 10 million Coptic Orthodox [Christians]. God is doing an amazing work and bringing people to Himself," he said.
Youssef added, "Please pray that God will keep that movement that was ignited to keep going for many years to come."

I praise the Lord that people are coming to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Christ is far more powerful than anything else in the world. Please pray that more and more and more people in the Middle East, and all over the rest of the world, accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Feel overwhelmed with regret and bitterness

Hello,
Asking for prayer that I would be able to move past some mental and emotional struggles that I have been going through recently. Lately, I have been feeling overwhelmed with regret and bitterness over bad choices that I have made in my life particularly a few years ago during a season where I was being rebellious toward God. During that time, I rejected Christian faith and lived a very destructive life and allowed many toxic relationships into my life. The choices I made during that time came with negative consequences that I am still dealing with to this day though God has graciously restored my life since then and even used my bad decisions and even their consequences for good.

Maybe I am just in a very emotional state right now or just overwhelmed with life in general, but lately I've just been so, so upset with myself over those bad choices. There are so many problems that I have to deal with on a daily basis, so much stress that I would not have if I had just not done certain things or not allowed certain relationships into my life. I know that I have been forgiven for my mistakes by God. I know that those mistakes were not the end of my story, but I am so bitter over the things that I did and how I am now still suffering as a result of them. It doesn't help that I have many people around me who are constantly reminding me of my past mistakes and trying to rub them in my face.

Ukraine War in 2024: What Happens Now?

What if there will be little to no aid for Ukraine coming from Washington anytime soon? What does that mean for Kyiv in 2024? What does it mean for Russia?
The answers to these questions hinge on what one means by “anytime soon.” Much of the Western commentariat appears to assume the worst and that U.S. assistance will dry up completely. But such a scenario is improbable. The White House needs to keep funding Ukraine, and Congress needs to curb the flow of immigrants. Despite the bluster and chest-beating, a compromise is all but inevitable as neither side wants to “lose Ukraine” or fail to “stop the flood” of immigrants in an election year. The only question is whether the funding will resume in a few weeks or months.
Given such circumstances, Kyiv’s strategy is clear: to keep doing what it has been doing very effectively. That means degrading Russia’s navy, air force, transportation networks, and strategic infrastructure and inflicting high casualties on Russian soldiers.
The reality is that Ukraine’s counter-offensive was sputtering almost from the very beginning. It’s not as if the Ukrainians had been relentlessly attacking for the last few months and suddenly realized a few weeks ago (when General Valery Zaluzhny openly spoke of “stalemate”) that they’re making little to no progress. On the contrary, the Ukrainians have long since assumed the same defensive positions that Western policymakers and analysts recommended. The Russian side has been attacking along much of the front while simultaneously engaging in human-wave tactics that have produced few territorial gains and huge casualties.

Christian response to homelessness

Is it a matter of prayer only, or what else should be offered?
Should non-Christians be helped?
What are your opinions? And what does the Bible say?

Is this what Jesus talked about when he said we will prophesy?

Background information leading up to the vision:
I never believed in any more prophets after Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, referred to as "seal of the prophets" by Tertullian, paid the price for sin and there was no need for more prophets to tell of His (The Word Jesus Christ) coming. I am here to discuss a vision I had October 5th, 2023. Two days before the massacre in Israel-Gaza. I have been addicted to many things my entire life, but I had gone completely cold turkey off of everything for some reason, I wondered why. Then October 5th happened, and I had a vision. I classify this as a vision instead of a dream because of how real it was, my memory of it, and the prophetic nature. I am not saying I am a prophet. I do believe that people prophesy, according to God's will, but there are no more revelations in order to be saved, just prophesy that the LORD allows us to have based on the holy scriptures. After this vision, I had went on medication for schizophrenia, I could not handle this vision and the truth it meant for me. I still cannot fathom the depths of the mind of GOD after this experience. It changed a lot for me. I have been addicted for almost 15 years, and it was impossible for me to get off, let alone cold turkey off everything. The setup for this vision to me had to be planned by GOD in order to receive this prophetic vision, I was sober for three months, before going back to schizophrenic medication, prescribed by my Doctor, today I cannot even get off my medication for 1 day or 2 days without feeling so sick, so this to me, was truly a gift to experience, but also took a toll on my mind being revealed a truth from the LORD.

The vision:
White male in suit gives woman diamond jewelry shining so bright all over her. Man goes into house with woman. Door closes, demonic chant starts "Mark of the beast" and "Satan's Call" over and over, while a red upside down pentagram was being shown on the door.

This happened on October 5th, 2023.

That is all.

Thank you for listening.

I have my own interpretation but I won't go deeper unless asked based on the responses to this post. If I see positive responses, I might be more forthcoming on my interpretation of what happened. If there are negative responses, then I don't feel the need to share more.

New member, of the Christian faith.

Born as a cradle catholic, turned into gospel believing born again Christian (not affiliated with any particular denomination). I worship Jesus Christ as my Lord and my God. As a baby I was baptized, completed all roman catholic sacraments except confirmation and marriage. I started reading the bible and could not find a denomination or church close by that I could connect with so I worship in my room with my door closed like Jesus said in the holy scriptures. God bless you and may Jesus Christ save the world. Amen!

Why humanity will be declared guilty for their actions.

It's made very clear in Psalm 139:16 whether you read it in Hebrew or whether you read it in your favorite Bible translation. God has predetermined the lives of humanity. It's not just declared by King David the entire Bible confirms it.

While God has predetermined the lives of humanity this does not mean the following:

1. That humanity will not be judged for and held accountable for their own actions.
2. That humanity are robots who have no will and are incapable of making their own decisions.
3. That God is in any way, shape, or form Evil or unrighteous.

After all Paul answers this very question in the book of Romans with. "Who are you to answer back to God?"

Paul recognized this very subject as people interpreting to be "unfair" or "unjust". But nowhere in the Bible does it say that anyone will get injustice. We cannot tell God what to be or who to be God just is as he is. I know many people will say "I don't want to worship a God like that" and come up with their own ideas of what God is and can be but the God of the Bible is the God of the Bible. You cannot hide from the God of the Bible and ultimately it is the God of the Bible that is real and will one day judge the world.

But lets try to answer this question differently than how Paul answered it. If God has already determined the lives of humanity why exactly are we held accountable for our actions? Afterall God declared that they happen right? Well, yes that's correct. God DID declare that they happen.

The simplest way to answer this question is because they're OUR actions. Just because God has declared what we will do and nobody can overwrite God doesn't mean that we did not in fact do the actions. It also doesnt mean that God has no right to do with his creation whatever he wants to do with them. God also is a God who knows the entire lives of humanity and how they will react and what they will do. But God not only knows the actions of mankind, the Bible says that he predetermined them and that he also will judge the wicked based on what they have done.

So why are we held accountable for actions that God declared in the first place? Afterall it was God who made us all sinners right? Wrong. While God predestined the actions of Adam and Eve he did not actually make them do those actions. Adam and Eve brought sin into the world on their own accord and by their own "free" will. They after all, ate the forbidden fruit because they believed lucifer when he said that they will become God's if they ate it. That is how sin entered a "perfect" world. Not just because God predetermined it to happen.

It's like this and I can use myself as an example. I weigh over 400 pounds. I'm a glutton who enjoys eating unhealthy food. I eat unhealthy food because I want to and because it tastes good. God may have predetermined that I be morbidly obese but it is my own actions and "free" will that cause me to eat tasty and unhealthg food and thus sin and thus make myself slowly fatter. It's also been the will of God that I lose almost 40 pounds (I weigh 420 pounds now and weighed almost 455 at my heaviest). I did the actions of losing the weight despite God declaring " you will lose 40 pounds."

This may not be "fair" but this is how things are run. God to a lot of people is "unfair" but we see God at the moment as sinners. One day we will see God for what he truly is whether we spend eternity in heaven or hell. Not one word will be spoken on judgement day except from God because we will ALL see that God was right all along and that we deserve to be punished because we've sinned against a completek Holy and righteous God.

Paul really does answer this very question perfectly "who are we to talk back to God and tell God how to be?" It's about time we stop looking at God as unrighteous sinners and worship him for what he truly is, the God of the universe!
