repost from elsewhere, the "what are the benefits of writing" thread

"...me, I'm just passing the essence of my existence through the focus of my pen I suppose..." replied the goblin suspecting that sounded slightly better than daydreaming away to a coffee over a laptop in a bistro, whereupon the music started where that solemn unmistakable voice that spoke aloud "...imagination, that final frontier, to boldly daydream where no other goblin has ever daydreamed before..." as the music then started while he coffee compelled his now warped mind at warped speed, just the goblin's imminent escape opened up before him once where the nigh impossible conquest of forumland continued apace, smiling "..ah no, futility is never an issue where one's escape is concerned, for all that matters is trying for it still..."

Imagination is indeed the final frontier. My question is: if we were truly free how would we know? Would we not be trapped by our own beliefs?

"...either way then, one doesn't leave here till one's soul is ready now, so a trap of circumstance it becomes by it I guess... ventured the goblin before continuing "...ah but just because those bars are real doesn't mean that one shouldn't try to escape imprisonment here, where throughout our lives we have always used distractions to make the present bearable, and preparations to make the future manageable, all to no avail though, as those distractions only return one to oneself afterwards while conversely those preparations too do not actually guarantee us our remaining here neither...", somehow the goblin wrote for no reason, then much as he lived for no reason too, and although he gave himself lots of plausible reasons to both writing on and living on, when he was honest with himself he knew it was just his habit under the circumstance

"...definitely your best post yet, and written so well too, now if only all your posts were like that then..." went the goblin thanking xxxxx for the company still, and then thinking that the times were turning bad indeed, explaining "...when one can't save money is when that economy slides into debt, just quantitative easing turns money toxic by making everyone dive into hard assets instead such as stocks and property, hence one sees a bubble in both today, but it's a bubble based on people's flight money rather than up on real demand or real worth so eventually the bubble bursts when the speculations are not met, thus those who flooded in will then flood out, in short QE causes vulture capitalism rather than sound economics...", at which point the goblin looked back at xxxxx and wondered if she would agree with him

*snorts* The lame stream media is all up in arms that Hillary Clinton is running for the Presidency. They'll never find time for music

"...and after hillary the next bush family member it will be then..." replied the goblin thinking that by now it was just a two party one paymaster system anyway, adding "...whichever party is voted into power simply it'll be the bankcabul who runs the show as noted with the media merely saying what it's told to say for them on their behalf, in fact anything to keep voters thinking that somehow this punch and judy show actually runs its puppetmaster...", at which point the goblin conceded "...naah but it's ok I guess, after all god's mercy is that those who go against the laws of economics destroy their own economies by it, currency war leads to trade war on to proxy war, so lastly comes this war now between nato and russia if europe doesn't wise up to what's being pushed down upon them, a war that nato can neither win nor should even be in..."

*ROARS LAUGHING!!* You cannot- CANNOT- believe what MSNBC's own polls have been consistently reporting for the past 72 hours! *snickers* Over 50,000 people have responded by saying "NO!" on voting for Hillary!

The liberal MSNBC,,,,even their own viewership can't stand her!

"...I don't think anyone sane reads this far..." went the goblin
God damn it goblin, there you go casting aspersions on my sanity again.

"...agreed, writers should never aspire to be sane anyway, instead they should aspire to being imaginative, which if anything it's anything but their reality now, though while we at it we could cast conjectures as to whether one's reality is sane though, and whether this society is sanity in practice by that default there, where if it is then there little wonder why we all seek our own escape from it at each chance...", but the goblin just felt himself to be an ordinary average everyday sort of goblin now and went MYAHAHAHA upon looking a the world scene today with crippling debts and senseless wars to reassure everyone else and himself mostly that society and himself were ok with whatever its media termed as sanity now

*Rolls eyes* So far the only thing that's been on fire this week is Hillary Clintons credibility. Oh my! I've collected over 30 meme's that show just how people DO NOT support her at all. Even MSNBC's polls show they can't stand her by a solid 87%,,,,,with a count of 80,000 people voting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I did however, find one positive meme. Its called "hookers for Hillary" and it is EXACTLY what it sounds like. Prostitutes in a brothel are supporting her because she stayed with Bill in spite of his,,,,dallying around. Which makes sense I suppose- not having any experience to back it up, it makes sense that a married man might visit a house of ilrepute for some horizontal rest and relaxation.
I cannot help but wonder what Rahab in the Old Testament would think?
("...I don't think she is out to be elected, it's like she's being lined up to make another someone else more attractive..." mentioned the goblin thinking that the trick was to offer someone utterly unacceptable only to then offer someone marginally better instead, and everyone then feels great because at least it wasn't her then, whereupon the goblin just sighed saying "...punch and judy then where the puppets change but the policies don't change between them, war comes not because of who votes, nor because of whom they vote in neither, it comes because americans are leaving their own responsibility to the state today, but the only want more state then...")
repost from elsewhere
long before daybreak now and the goblin is croaking away in his bed cursing that airborne intercourse of those plants outside, reciting "...somewhere out there is a grain of pollen with the goblin's name written upon it, little wonder then that us goblins live deep in caverns of pure filtered air quite out of sight of trees now...", in fact, the amount of flem coughed up by the goblin was a sight not to see, even less something to experience first hand now, but all somehow all contributing to a shadow existence of alive but not so alive really, sighing "...for who needs tuberculosis when one can just go through this each springtime, no I write like this to like experience first hand what writers go through when writing but just perhaps at this point I feel what it's more like to experience writing out of a shadow of myself instead..."
*Takes a huge 500mg of penicillin from the refrigerator and pumps it into Goblins left butt cheek*,,,,that, should take care of any secondary infections. *Pumps a mix of Sudifed into Goblins other butt cheek*,,,,this should clear your sinus's in about 45 minutes. *Pours 3 ounces of Makers 46 into a 12 ounce iced glass of Dr. Pepper*,,,,and this is my favorite general cure all. If the other two don't cure you, at least with this you won't care.
As to your theory of "bait with Hillary, switch to someone better like Elizabeth Warren" that's entirely possible. Warren keeps dragging her tush like a dog with worms on the carpet against running- at least, that's what her HANDLERS have published.
*baleful look* Once upon a time Obama invited John McCain into a Democrat planning committee. NOW might be a good time to take him up on the offer- just sayin'.
The other Democrat who might do it would be Jeb Bush- he's pure RINO, and it wouldn't be the first time someone has switched sides. Daddy Bush might beat him senseless, but it's possible in exchange for that kind of power.
I was kinda hoping Ben Carson would have made a bigger cut than 4% on the CPAC poll. Senator Cruz however walked away with 38%. Rand Paul pulled something like 34%.
And that bloated carcus of lard known as Christie from New Jersey said he'd ban marijuana 100%. Which is about the most [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] thing- lately, anyway- I've seen come out of the Garden State. You know why its called the Garden State? Because of the fine nitrates that flow from their state capitol
Meanwhile, ever heard of the 3%'ser? I started out as an interested onlooker and now going on a month later, I've reached the rank of Captain holding a Lt. Colonels slot. The US Army never had the sense to promote me to the Officers Corp,,,,,well, I'm there now just not in the Army I'd planned on. Statewide we've got a regiment- 3 companies of 200 infantry.
Its been hard- very hard- in fact- to get this set up. I've been stealing org charts from every example that works- Army, Washington State Nat'l Guard, and even the Salvation Army for the good parts.
Well, back to work
("...good to see that someone is doing something then, I'll look into this 3%'sers before commenting further, add a link below then..." went the goblin admittedly clueless, still happy to be writing rather than talking at this point, and still passing for a sprigtime zombie too, confiding "...my daughter didn't do too badly in geneva's recent election but it all so unpaid for, so amateur in comparison with anything across the border in the EU...", just it seemed village level with folks dealing with local issues, adding "...simply switzerland works because it's small still, and where correct me if I'm seeing it wrong here, but what with the joint creation of federal reserve together with the introduction of income tax both in the year of 1913, america lost its state level control of government, that thus at a stroke the united states of america had become the federal state of america instead, that unanswerable federal state we see today...")
repost from elsewhere, another welcome then
"...talkative is best, might as well say the wrong things only to correct them into the right things later than say nothing losing one's view at the time, I mean time returns not does it, where the wrong can be corrected into the right but where that nothing remains ever nothing by it..." ventured the goblin setting an example of talkative he imagined before turning his attention to the more important thing of how to welcome someone new to this forum now as his had then dipped into his pocket to pull out a slip of paper on which he had purposefully prepared as his fall back text just in case he couldn't find the exact right words to do a welcoming welcome here, a text that read look goblin, just say anything now for in the end it's not what you say at all, ah no it's how you involve those readers into the plot that makes it all so pulling towards them, whereupon the goblin just looked back at xxxxx and smiled "...for our readers are not those cold others of elsewhere anymore as those who read books out there and these who read our posts here are one and the same then..." as the goblin slipped the paper back to his pocket and then tolled hard on the welcoming bell while hailing aloud to the words "...the readership is dead humans, long live our replyship today..."
"The Federal States of America"? Good way of putting it. All this noise on Jade Helm 15? The conspiracies theorists are going crazy insane- I'm waiting for it to shake out, then examine the "written wreckage" if you will to make sense of it.
As it stands right now the gov'ts plan is to round up all Christians and Con's and throw'em into FEMA camps using DHS goons as the muscle.
"...naah, even if the government did have an agenda like that, they certainly wouldn't round up everyone all at once then..." ventured the goblin noting how it's not historically the way martial law is enacted, continuing "...far better would be simply to work one's way upwards from the bottom segment, segment by segment, why, because starting from one segment gives a false sense of security to the other segments of society, thus it's segment by segment then, for example if one were to claims that the prisons are too overcrowded then by moving some lesser inmates to fema camps would seem humane, alternatively the vagrants too could also be housed in that way, the illegals would be easy target I imagine, but never everyone all at once, that's far too problematic, and thus note how the nazis worked in stages, where jade helm 15 is not in itself going to do anything against anyone really, why, because whatever its details are it's merely an exercise with two aims involved, first of getting the apparatus up and running testing its functionality to the full, and secondly of getting the general public quite accustomed to seeing what in effect amounts to a de facto martial law, just as something quite normal in their midst and nothing to worry about really...."
("....what happening old soldier with jade helm 15, keep me informed because I sure am not going to get it from the official media channels..." ventured the goblin depending on the old soldier somewhat)
repost from elsewhere
"...there's still the rest of your life left to post in..." replied the goblin thinking xxxxx as one of the next generation of livewriters, before adding "...the more is see the news of late the more desperate it all seems to divert our attention away from what is really happening at large...", in fact, the goblin had looked at the BBC last night, of which the news headlines had been just two now, some baby girl being born to the royal family and a rumour of ISIS decapitating people in the middle east, but just rumour hearsay though, afterwhich was the sports coverage to which the goblin had even less interest in, switching it off sighing "...time was when the BBC had balls, today the whole media spectrum deserves its well earned demise because how can the british electorate make a balanced decision as to whom to vote for now if the sorry state of the economy together with the dumb ineffectual sanctions on russia, together with those mass refugee producing unwinnable boobing wars too, are not even argued in the news...", where somehow the goblin knew that british election wouldn't be fought on any real issue like how to stem the 54billion pound debt caused by crapping the currency with poisonous liquidity for the bankers, more debt in the rest of us in other words, ah no, instead voters will given only three minor topics to decide their future upon, unemployment, immigration and the NHS again...", in other words if one were talking the scale difference between the sizes of the two issues, it would be like that between the sun and the moon, adding "...alright admittedly all news is propaganda for it can rarely be entirely unbiased I imagine, but propaganda is also like a currency now that devalues down to zero though over liquidity, where eventually things will devalue to the point where it too is no longer considered as money in one's pocket, just funny money then..."
*Smirks* Jade Helm 15 is turning into a tempest in a tea pot. Special Forces are "Special" in the fact they're designed to be operated invisible; instead this training exercise should be called "Chinese Fire drill 15". The Texas Governor has put HIS Texas National Guard troops on alert to monitor the Federal troops!- Not exactly what you'd call "hidden". Every militia organization, every anti-government group is monitoring everything these people do. They can't even go to the bathroom without someone photographing the time/date and activity.
So, the question now becomes- is the Federal Government a real threat or not? Currently? "No" is the general consensus based on a measly 100,000 people over 6 states- Colorado backed out of the exercise, considered it too dangerous and an impediment to their tourist industry right in the middle of summer.
But it's like the Fed's have gone up to a beehive and whacked that puppy with a baseball bat and now the bee's have swarmed- and the exercise doesn't even start until July 15th!
**Drily Said** It could turn into more of an exercise when the entire nation all of a sudden becomes your Opposition Forces....
