("...war around the corner, that Nato military buildup is not for show, but why does america alienate itself by imposing sanctions that hurt its allies far more than its enemies, I mean germany does ten times more business with russia than america does, germany gets 40% of its gas and 30% of its oil from russia, moreover, america is not returning germany's gold till 2020, while all the while the NSA is spying on germany, so all eyes on germany now, for if germany dumps the euro, something quite predictable given the way germany is straining today, then those who felt that the west had won the cold will then note that the east has won the new colder war..." ventured the goblin suspecting that the old soldier saw all this too clearly, sighing "...once more it's war then isn't it...")

repost from elsewhere, the "where have all the posters gone" thread

It's seasonal. When the weather is good, more people use it and leave their homes... when the weather is extreme, posters go to their net for action. That's what I've found!
"...with me it's somewhat different in that I post as if haunted by ghosts who prompt me to do so now..." smiled the goblin suspecting that he went about his day with moments that were just "here's that same thought again, why am I thinking it" and where he then just wants to quantify it in his own words because he feels the only time he's really thinking is when he's pinning it down in a some text somewhere, smiling still "...no I'm too old to think merely upon that which is of direct advantage to me, where the nearer to the end one gets the more the whole picture predominates one's needs I guess, and where nothing I say or think changes anything on the world stage, my vote is a joke, but the forthcoming war, the insurmountable debt, the loss of civil rights, the growing insecurity, etc., not to mention the ghosts of my past too, all have me posting as if only to make sense of it even if the past won't change or that the world stage will playout any differently for all my observations towards it...", somehow the goblin knew that "ours is to witness" was about the whole truth of it

repost from elsewhere, just cleaning it up here

There isn't two situations of employment, there are 3, they're being 1.Employed 2. Unemployed and now 3. Self Employed.
"...no, there are 5, you forgot slavery and surfdom there, where for example private corporations need a quota of inmates to produce stuff that they sell onto the market, slavery pure and simple..." mentioned the goblin, quickly adding "...but as its feet turn to clay the empire increasingly invent new laws to increase their slavepower pool while filling their coffers by fines too, where for example someone can be sent to prison for feeding the homeless, but where if the five main banks openly admit to their defrauding the libor, or london interbank offered rate, they only get a fine of 3billion dollars between them...", where to put this into clearer prospective here, of the five central banks then, the sum total assets of jp morgan alone is worth 1trillon, thus 3billion of 1trillion is 0.003% then, while of course ourdearmedia plays dead and dumb again, adding "...just both slavery, and serfdom then, are yet more signs of an end of empire here..."

There are those who say the verse in the bible talking about the "Bear and the Eagle" is a sign of the return of the Cold War. I believe it; we all look back fondly through rose colored glasses at the past. Or perhaps I should say uranium glass green in this case. At least the Cold War wasn't a shooting war- right now we've got somewhere between 40 to 60 different small bush wars. In the technical sense we're fighting WW 3 right now if you consider a "World War" to be everyone involved. In this case it's simply a low intensity conflict. Of course, "Low Intensity" is a mater of perception- Boko Haraums execution of 2,000 would be a small mild skirmish during WW 2 or WW 1, a typical sized battle (such as Pea Ridge) during the American Civil War, or 1/3rd of the total deaths of the American Revolutionary War.

I do know that I am getting VERY TIRED of going over to the American Lake Veterans Hospital and seeing broken boys and girls who should be at the prime of their life and not having arms and legs blown off.

I'd much rather have no war at all; but like watching a car wreck in slow motion I see where war will only get worse on a world wide base- Dr. John Calhoun's research on the "Behavioral Sink" has been observed in all the large cities around the world.

"...good and getting better..." observed the goblin appreciating the sylph's company now, while outside his bistro this morning the rain could hardly be less inspiring, but outside was ever outside after all, where suddenly the goblin went off on his usual tangent, going "...hard compromise isn't it, I mean if the post is too long they won't read it whereas if it's too short it won't do justice to your pen here, so one gets the feel for length through the practice of posting, where just right differs between posters, for one is as if painting here, like trying to pull those readers towards that vision to one's very own words...", where the sylph had been right he felt, for it was ever forum/venue thread/stage and persona/act here across forumland, smiling "...let me guess, I bet you're feeling how nice it is to be finally writing in third person then, where I can assure you that the show has just begun by it, and where you weren't a true writer before you took this step, though now, much like your post above then, it's all so clear that your book will become likewise, just pulling in its effect I mean...", oh yes, those years would pass then and only this ability to write would remain from all these posts then, but that alone would be the real goal of it all, just that one had been culturing one's ability to pull by it

"...the above is the kind of post I wanted to read..." replied the goblin who too feared the worst now, adding "...I suspect that this ongoing transition from west to east is not going to go smoothly, so war it is then, moreover america has played its cards so badly that the dollar is losing its grip as the world's currency even when the other currencies at this point look worse, no what with the petrodollar over I suspect that a challenger will appear shortly, a dollar alternative...", simply the temptation is ever to devalue one's currency isn't it, where devaluing the currency is exactly how each empire in turn goes down to feet of clay, sighing "...looking back at this no doubt we'll say it was like obvious, just we always think that humans have learned their lesson of the past and wouldn't dare do such a thing as war again, but humans are predictable in their self delusion..."

"...I wish the founding fathers could do all that fighting for you now old soldier, so instead you'll just have to keep them in mind I guess..." replied the goblin crossing his fingers for the old soldier in him way, adding "...something like no foreign entanglements and no central bank then, though the military always steps in in the end, where today too no one really knows where the line of that old rubicon river flowed, which is apt because none of us will know till we all know then, where the military might cross that robicon even without knowing it, where suppression leads to desperation, repression to revolt, and where the debasement of currency was a poison that together with loss of civil liberties too will cast the dye for whomever come next then, looking back it's like obvious, looking forward it's like unbelievable, but I'm repeating myself again aren't I..."

*Sucking down his pipe*,,,,so far, nobodys been arrested. This is the 3rd rally in 3 months- to the best of my knowledge, no one specific group of people has ever had more than one rally on a subject, much less than 3 in 3 months! Washington State Patriots Preparing To Be Arrested, Will Not Back Down!

"...well, ours is to witness isn't it, glad to see some christians finally acting like christians, where it must take a certain inner strength to throw oneself to the lions of ceasar..." smiled the goblin, suspecting that "witnessing" was the start, the stage before speaking out loudly began, adding "...Jesus had a whip, he set your example in a way that those churches that signed their 501c3 stutus can't and won't then, but we've been through this before, the founding fathers were clear weren't they, you only have to remind other americans what it is to be a founding father I guess..."

*Grunts in agreement*,,,this is true, Goblin. But the clock turns for all Empires- and the Pax Americana is coming to an end. I highly doubt it will survive- tis seems there's a one world religion that's being created even as I write this and that's a "Bad Thing" as I understand the book of Revelations. "...well to date it wold seem that one world anythings do not work..." replied the goblin thinking aware that somehow they always topple in their corruption anyway, and where up goes yet another tower towards heaven, and how many times to date too, where only it falls to the ground in a division of tongues again, adding "...I wonder what would happen if the prisons filled up with christians fed up with that ceasar now, I mean there's a test of faith coming anyway whether it's the economy, the justice system, the politics, the media, the church, academia too, you name it then, that tower is going up still, ah but there's a point where christains won't cower in churches, faiths comes from within and where each finds their own little tongue I guess, yes that division of tongues between them then, how it should be too..."

repost from elsewhere, the troll's forum again

returned, the goblin didn't bother to read the posts knowing they'd just be flames baseless of otherwise of those who were probably imperfect anyway, mind you most people were and those who weren't probably weren't interesting he guessed, so instead the goblin looked out at the clearest of blue skies over the snow covered summit of mont blanc itself kind of guessing that things would only get worse this year, europe that is, and moreover the eurozone too was like some enormous humpty dumpty towering over one ready to topple at any moment, sighing "...60billion bondization is never going to be enough, while greece can't pay it's debt even if it wanted to, and where if greece got forgiveness then the others would form a queue requesting likewise and all to at germany' that is straining at the seams, for doesn't this always go to war in the end like this, thus war lurks in humpty dumpty's shadows...", in fact, the goblin would have liked to flame someone if only to take his mind off things but one can't fool oneself for so long

*Takes a pull on his coffee and whisky*,,,,Ah yes, Greece! The stuff legendary frying pans use! Seriously- they're in such foul fecal pools of financial troubles they'll never get out. Now they're painted into a corner- nobody will lend to them, nobody will invest in them (they've "socialized" everything in the name of equality!!) they have over a 30% unemployment rate....

Traditionally, such nations usually use it as an excuse to go to war. The Irish were schizophrenic about it; when not fighting the British they were sending their young men out as Mercenaries- er, I mean Private Military Contractors all over the world- its where we get the term "Wild Geese" from. They fly south, fight, make money, fly home,,,,

,,,,,and Greece has no indigenous industry or raw material to sell or barter with. It's an economic black hole with no bottom. Unfortunately, stupid things like this can spin out of control and turn into Venezuela; No foolin'- I've got enough men to crew a ship, I've just been looking for a ship that I can get a millionaire to buy.

*Sucks on his pipe*,,,theres no feminine hygiene products available. A box of condoms is going for $700 dollars, American. There's no laundry or dish soap. I suggest we form a company, buy as many tons of perfectly legal stuff off the shelf and run the Venezuela blockade- and offer their navy American Dollars plus some products in exchange for NOT exchanging gun fire with their military. You figure the first load would pay the crew and for the ship- every run past that would be pure profit.

("...they're pulling us in with their agenda again, for it seems they that want war at all costs, where the church attendance plummets during wartime, rightly so if the supposed faithful do not speak out in one clear voice, "no foreign entanglements" ..." went the goblin who remembered how america plunged headlong into the first world war, adding "...it was the war up front while in the background slyly they introduced income tax and a banking consortium that came to be known as the federal reserve...")

repost from elsewhere, the trolls forum, the "ten best flamers" thread

"...it's kind of limiting being thought as a flamer, or as a troll even..." ventured the goblin continuing "...where wouldn't it be far more flattering to one's self assessment to be thought of as the best poster, one who might at times flame, or troll even, and besides too don't trolls and flamers both need someone's shirttails of cling to, their targets then, but shouldn't one strive to do posts that do justice to one's thoughts in a life that is not twice, this moment returns not..."

"...no, I was not quite sure how to react there, nor how much you might be jesting with me too..." replied the goblin not knowing much about venezuela, thanking the old soldier though yet thinking that venezuela was not greece in that the one was on its own struggling whereas the other had its debt in euros up to the point where it was fast losing its sovereignty entirely to that bureaucracy better know as the troika, smiling "...really that question is not greece's to answer anymore, instead the answer has to come from the troika's now either in further bail outs or actual write offs where no doubt the other debtor nations would be looking on too, where whichever answer troika gives will have the others going "me too please"..."

Venezuela is a complete and utter failure economically- a nightmare of socialism that's crashed and burned so badly there's not a single joke in my post.

Im serious about wanting to put together a crew for blockade running- at $700 for a box of condoms? Seriously?

When Shell/Chevron/British Petroleum left madder than hell in 2007 because the government "socialized" the oil cracking stations. In 2013 the Venezuela gov't realized 1)They had no idea how to run a cracking station 2)Had no access to replacement parts 3)They had a completely untrained crew and 4)Would have cut a deal with satan himself to have Shell/Chevron/BP move back in and run the cracking station(s).

The Big Three chose words like (bless and do not curse; bless and do not curse; bless and do not curse:) for several hundred paragraphs since Venezuelans had taken like 8 Billion dollars in cash.

All the things in life- condoms, tampons, clothes and dishwashing detergent, diapers- have become non-existent. Food riots are happening- and the people are furious.

I'm not sure how this will work- will this result in a rebellion? I cant read the tea leaves well enough to see the future...How Bad Is Venezuela's Economic Chaos? - Forbes

"...all the more reason to be against globalization then, as "one world whatevers" are just another name for monopolies pure and simple, and see how america went downhill when the soviet union was no more..." mentioned the goblin seeing that had there been local products made by local venezuelan industry then none of this problem would be so bad by now, adding "...for example, when britain had its industrial revolution the first thing bismark did was put up import tariffs to encourage local production with local solutions, where clearly these local solutions are what is lacking in venezuela today, their sovereignty has to be reasserted here, even if it means curtailing trade till the playing field is level again, don't take a boatload of foreign products to them, tell them to ignore international copyrights and patents instead...", ah yes the goblin knew that any country could default at any moment but nothing is ever changed by that default there because the cause of that default remained intact, moreover nothing would change too till the sovereignty over production was reasserted much like bismark had done facing britain's industrial revolution, adding "...I mean I hope no one is inferring here that the velezuelans themselves are just too stupid to make their own products now..."
