Borrowed times indeed are all going to kill us. When you get a chance and bored, look up the new $5 Canadian coin that'll be coming out by 2017. Silver, blue background, silver wolf in the middle. Since they have "loonies" and "toonies" now they're considering calling it "wolfies".
Meanwhile, I've joined a local militia. Things are bad here in Washington state, Goblin. No foolin'- up to now I've been trying to prevent a shooting war between the liberal socialists who haven't figured out that everywhere socialism/communisim has been tried its failed, and those of us who have the common sense to learn from nations past mistakes have come close to throwing down.
In fact, to show you just how ham handed ineptly handled the situation, the Homeland Security set up snipers on the outside of the Thomas Foley Federal Building in Spokane about 6, 7 weeks ago. Now Snipers are taught to stay hidden.
I have a full face picture of this inept sniper.
I post it on Facebook, not only ridiculing them but asking if anyone knows this local fool and could I have his name and home address.
For some reason, Homeland Security gets a mite angry at me when I post this- I'd put the pic in here but its beyond my skill base. (I need a separate thingy called a URL and I don't have one)
People are angry, frustrated at the government all over the United States. In Conn. they're passively sitting around- some 300,000 civilians have refused to turn in their guns, the Conn state police only has 4700 personnel- so they're outgunned like 27.5 to 1. Right now the anti-gun agenda is going slowly through the court system, and the stupid Leutenatent who said he'd happily go door to door searching for guns is now fired.
Meanwhile, in Idaho its now legal to carry a firearm out in the open or concealed without a permit. In Washington state, we have the exact opposite problem- any form of gun transfer must go through an FFL.
If you and I went to the range, and I lent you my pistol, rifle or shotgun to shoot? It'd have to go through a FFL dealer first- the law is that restrictive.
Right now, I've been working with the 2nd Amendment Foundation's lawsuit against I-594. The anti-gunners were so smug when their 18 page law came into effect- imagine their cursing and panic when they were served with a 24 page line by line rebuttal of why it was illegal.
On a more happier note, the Son in law seems to be getting his Veterans disability- his neck, shoulders, back and hips are all messed up from packing 40 pounds of body armor, plus firearm and ammo, and all of his medic supplies. That's 100 pounds of crap per 7 miles of patrol every day for a year. Throw in some PTSD from watching his buddies blow up? "not good" would be a polite way to describe it.
The daughters working on a grand daughter for me. So 2 grand sons, 1 grand daughter just in time for the end of the world,,,,,,?

Well,,,,,*BLESS AND DO NOT CURSE, BLESS AND DO NOT CURSE!!*
